Former President Donald Trump discussed the potential of a 2024 bid for a second term in the White House, telling a right-wing network one factor that would deter him for running
Speaking with Real Americas Voice on Friday evening, Mr Trump suggested that a bad call from a doctor or something could halt his plans to retake the presidency.
Mr Trump has not said specifically that he will run in 2024, but has indicated a clear interest in returning to the White House. The New York Times Maggie Haberman has reported that the former president has even flirted with conspiracies claiming that he could be reinstated as president as soon before the end of the year.
The air of will-he-or-wont-he speculation that has descended upon the potential 2024 GOP primary field as a result has dampened the excitement for GOP voters around the potential runs of any other top Republican figures, such as Mike Pompeo, Mr Trumps former secretary of state, and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, among others.
Complicating the issue is Mr Trumps very public false claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election which he has wrongly said was responsible for his defeat to President Joe Biden. Some experts have worried that such comments will turn off hardcore supporters of the president from participating in the electoral system due to baseless fears that their votes will not count.
Potential Conflicts Of Interest
Trump’s presidency has been marked by significant public concern about conflict of interest stemming from his diverse business ventures. In the lead up to his inauguration, Trump promised to remove himself from the day-to-day operations of his businesses. Trump placed his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. at the head of his businesses claiming they would not communicate with him regarding his interests. However, critics noted that this would not prevent him from having input into his businesses and knowing how to benefit himself, and Trump continued to receive quarterly updates on his businesses. As his presidency progressed, he failed to take steps or show interest in further distancing himself from his business interests resulting in numerous potential conflicts. Ethics experts found Trump’s plan to address conflicts of interest between his position as president and his private business interests to be entirely inadequate. Unlike every other president in the last 40 years, Trump did not put his business interests in a blind trust or equivalent arrangement “to cleanly sever himself from his business interests”. In January 2018, a year into his presidency, Trump owned stakes in hundreds of businesses.
Historical Evaluations And Public Opinion
C-SPAN‘s 2021 President Historians Survey ranked Trump as the fourth-worst president overall, with Trump being rated the worst in the leadership characteristics of Moral Authority and Administrative Skills. Trump’s best rated leadership characteristic was Public Persuasion, where he ranked 32nd out of the 44 individuals who were previously president.

Did Gop Rock Star Ron Desantis Just Reveal That Donald Trump Is Running For President In 2024
Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis seemed to indicate Monday that he does not plan to run for president in 2024, leading many to conclude that former President Donald Trump will make another White House run.
DeSantis quietly filed paperwork to officially kick off his gubernatorial re-election campaign. The Harvard Law School graduate and Navy veteran was elected in 2018, and his term expires in January 2023.
Floridas future is on the line, & we have too much to lose to stop now. Ive fought like hell to keep FL free & I can tell you this: Ive only begun to fight!
Election Day is exactly 1 year away & freedom is on the ballot. Lets do this. #KeepFloridaFree
While filing for re-election does not prevent DeSantis from running for president in 2024, its considered a strong indication that hes more focused on continuing his leadership role in Florida and a possible sign that he might be aware of Trumps electoral plans.
The governor touted his stellar record, telling Fox News on Monday that he has delivered on all fronts: Floridas economy is strong, weve boosted teacher pay, made historic investments in Everglades restoration and water quality, signed strong election integrity legislation, provided unparalleled support for law enforcement and appointed strong constitutionalists to our state courts.

Russia And Related Investigations
American intelligence sources found the Russian government attempted to intervene in the 2016 presidential election to favor the election of Trump, and that members of Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian government officials both before and after the election. In May 2017, the Department of Justice appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate “any links and/or coordination between Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump, and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation”.
During his January 2017 confirmation hearings as the attorney general nominee before the Senate, then-Senator Jeff Sessions appeared to deliberately omit two meetings he had in 2016 with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, when asked if he had meetings involving the 2016 election with Russian government officials. Sessions later amended his testimony saying he “never met with any Russian officials to discuss issues of the campaign”. Following his amended statement, Sessions recused himself from any investigation regarding connections between Trump and Russia.

Donald Trump‘s tenure as the 45thpresident of the United States began with his inauguration on January 20, 2017 and ended on January 20, 2021. Trump, a Republican originally from New York City, took office following his Electoral College victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, in which he did not win a plurality of the popular vote. Trump made an unprecedented number of false or misleading statements during his campaign and presidency. Trump received more votes than any candidate prior in the 2020 presidential election, but was defeated by DemocratJoe Biden who set the new record. His party very narrowly lost both houses of Congress, losing seats in the Senate but gaining in the House.
Robert Mueller‘s Special Counsel investigation concluded that Russia interfered to favor Trump’s candidacy and that while the prevailing evidence “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government,” possible obstructions of justice occurred during the course of that investigation.
Trump attempted to pressure Ukraine to announce investigations into his political rival Joe Biden, triggering his first impeachment by the House of Representatives on December 18, 2019, but he was acquitted by the Senate on February 5, 2020.

His 2024 Campaign Is Inevitable The Only Question Is How The Media Will Handle His Shameless Desperate Attempts For Their Attention
What was the weirdest thing that Donald Trump did on Saturday, the twentieth anniversary of 9/11? It is not immediately obvious. While the four other men who served as president during the twenty-first century attended ceremonies honoring the dead, Trump spent the day as only he could, which is to say he dawdled through the day in the crassest manner imaginable.
He recorded a video message for the Korean Unification Churchthe religious cult better known as the Moonies and best known for its mass arranged marriages and strict regulation of its members sexual and private livesin which he lavished praise on the organization, referring to it as an inspiration. He also bizarrely claimed that his election had magically brought peace to the otherwise volatile Korean peninsula. Looking back today, its easy to forget how dangerous the situation was when I was elected, Trump said. Missiles were flying, nuclear weapons were being tested, and powerful threats were being issued every single day. Under my leadership, the United States adopted a policy of unprecedented strength doing more than any prior administration.
While Trump snubbed official events commemorating 9/11, he did make an appearance at a New York City police station, where he lambasted the Afghanistan withdrawal he had set in motion. It looked like we retreated, it looked like we gave up. Like, they use the word surrender, he whined, adding that the administration was fleeing Afghanistan.
Trump Will ‘ultimately’ Run In 2024 But Not Against Biden Former Adviser Predicts
Jason Miller, a former top adviser to Donald Trump, predicted again on Friday that the former president will run for the White House in 2024but he doesn’t expect him to do so against President Joe Biden.
Trump has been teasing the possibility of another presidential run in 2024 for most of the year. Miller and other associates of the former president have repeatedly said publicly that they expect him to seek office in the next presidential election. During an interview with Fox Business on Friday, Miller shared his perspective on Trump’s plans.
“I think ultimately in 2024 President Trump does run again. At least that is my hope,” Miller said. “But I don’t think it will be against Joe Biden. I think it will be a Kamala Harris or maybe a Gavin Newsom,” he predicted.
Biden, 78, has previously said that he plans to seek reelection. “My plan is to run for reelection. That’s my expectation,” the president told reporters in late March.
During that same press conference, Biden was asked about the possibility of a rematch with Trump. He responded by saying he didn’t have any predictions on what the state of the Republican Party would be in a few years.
“Oh, come on. I don’t even think aboutI have no idea. I have no idea if there will be a Republican Party. Do you?” Biden said. He also noted that he would “fully expect” Harris to run as his vice president in the next election.

Can Donald Trump Run For President Again In 2024 And Would He Win
It isn’t even a year into Joe Bidens presidency and many Americans aren’t happy with how he has handled the Afghanistan withdrawal and immigrant issues. Will Donald Trump run for president again in 2024? Can Trump run again, and if he does, would he be able to win?
Trump has signaled that he could run again in 2024. However, he emphasized that he would be making the announcement at the right time. While Trump might want to run again for the coveted job, would he be eligible?
Trump Has Raised Tons Of Money
In the first half of 2021, Trump brought in millions of dollars through his three political committees. According to Federal Election Commission records, Trump had about $102 million in cash on hand as of June 30 between the Save America PAC, Trump Make America Great Again Committee and Make America Great Again PAC. That amount of fundraising for a former president is unprecedented and aided by a robust email, text message and digital ad campaign targeting Trump supporters with calls for donations as well as false claims and suggestions that the 2020 election was stolen.

Political Activities Up To 2015
Trump’s political party affiliation has changed numerous times. He registered as a Republican in Manhattan in 1987, switched to the Reform Party in 1999, the Democratic Party in 2001, and back to the Republican Party in 2009.
Trump first floated the idea of running for president in 1987, placing full-page advertisements in three major newspapers, proclaiming “America should stop paying to defend countries that can afford to defend themselves.” The advertisements also advocated for “reducing the budget deficit, working for peace in Central America, and speeding up nuclear disarmament negotiations with the Soviet Union“.DCCC chair Rep. Beryl Anthony Jr. told The New York Times that “the message Trump has been preaching is a Democratic message.” Asked whether rumors of a presidential candidacy were true, Trump denied being a candidate, but said, “I believe that if I did run for President, I’d win.” According to a Gallup poll in December 1988, Trump was the tenth most admired man in America.
Will Trump Be Healthy Enough To Run In The 2024 Election
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman is doubtful that Trump will be healthy enough to run in the 2024 election. Trumps health has always been some sort of an enigma. Newman thinks that the former president needs to come clean to the American people about his health.
Trump was infected with the coronavirus and some reports suggest that it was a severe infection. It’s widely believed that his COVID-19 battle was worse than what was acknowledged at that time.
Being the American president is a stressful job and the person needs to be physically and mentally fit for the job. Newmans views on Trump should be taken with a pinch of salt. They had a falling out after her book Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House was published in 2018.

Yes. The former president returned to Iowa on Oct. 9 his first visit there since losing in November. He spoke for more than 90 minutes, sharing a long list of campaign-style promises. He joked about a potential slogan but stopped short of announcing a reelection bid. Instead of Make America Great Again, he did say, Were going to take America back.
Trump also repeated false claims that the 2020 election was “rigged.
