Trump Jr Urged Fans To Sign His Fathers Birthday Card
The former presidents fundraising efforts after the 2020 election are under scrutiny by the House January 6 committee
Donald Trump Jr has reportedly invited his fathers backers to sign the ex-presidents online birthday card, so long as they donate money to his fundraising group.
According to Insider, Trumps eldest son made this pitch in an email to supporters, writing, My father has done so much for this great Country, and I know it would mean so much to him to see YOUR NAME on his OFFICIAL Birthday Card. Trump was born on 14 June 1946.
The email contained a link that lets Trump loyalists write a message to him. However, they have to pledge a minimum $1 donation to send their good wishes.
The email comes amid increasing scrutiny of Trumps fundraising efforts after the 2020 election. The House select committee investigating the insurrection said that Trumps campaign amassed about $250m post-election, while asking for assistance in funding legal challenges to the election results.
Two Trump campaign aides told the committee, however, that the Official Election Defense Fund, as it was described in multiple fundraising emails, did not formally exist. The big lie was also a big rip-off, committee member congresswoman Zoe Lofgren commented.
He intentionally misled his donors, asked them to donate to a fund that didnt exist and used the money raised for something other than what it said, Lofgren later told CNN.

The absence of Melania has once again sparked the divorce rumors between the couple but writer Kristyn Burtt said that it is wrong to say that Melania has decided to part ways with Donald Trump.
She said: “She did that at the start of his administration when she and son Barron remained in New York City so he could finish out the school year before they moved to Washington, D.C. The couple has very different hobbies and seems to prefer their independent activities, but no one should read too much into her absence. This shouldnt be seen as a sign that there is trouble in their marriage.”

In 2015, Pence signed Senate Bill 94 to lengthen the statute of limitations for rapecontinuing for five years after sufficient DNA evidence is uncovered, enough recorded evidence is brought forth or discovered, or the offender confesses to the crime.
