How To Send A Message To Trump

How To Trump Your Message And Be Heard

Haitian community sending a message to President Trump

Emotional Intelligence, Communication & Relationship Expert

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump sure knows how to steal the headlines. Nobody took him seriously when he entered the race for the Republican Presidential ticket — and yet here we are incessantly talking about Donald Trump.

Wouldn’t you love to be able to take over and command a conversation that no one thought you would seriously be a part of?

As a relationship “soft skills” and communication expert, I’ve watched the Trump media frenzy unfold trying to figure out what Trump is doing that puts him in a league of his own. Although Trump appears to be breaking all the political rules, he seems to be building a relationship with people across all socio-economic barriers. Perhaps he has tapped into the anger felt on both sides of the political ally, making himself, a billionaire, appear relatable to the average American? Regardless of what the fascination with Trump’s candidacy is, he appears to be building a relationship with the voters and as Stephen Covey, best selling author of: “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” said: “all success begins with relationships.”

Based upon my observations of Trumps’ candidacy, following are 3 key ways you can Trump your message and be heard.

Do people know what you are passionate about?

Do people find you to be an effective communicator?

  • Melania Trump Wears Slogan Jacket

When or how did Melania Trump become a billboard? When I saw the first lady Melania Trump wearing a slogan jacket reading “I don’t really care do u ?”, I can say I wasn’t too shocked. Since in life I have always said” you lie down with the dogs and you’ll wake up with the fleas “.

First and foremost darlings this is a fashion blog not a political site. However sometimes these two fields can’t help but cross paths. Here on this blog I have written several times on politics and am proud to put across my points of view. While I don’t claim to be a political pundit I have certain political views and educate myself accordingly.

Here are a list of my political posts in case you want to check them out

Therefore my friends I will occasionally cover political issues , but always through fashions eye.

Chain-mail-style text message disinformation isn’t new, but it can prove to be dangerous, in part because of how the messages are delivered. The messages are usually forwarded by friends, so they carry the emotional weight of personal pleas for help, instead of simple Facebook rumors that can easily be ignored.

“I think that when we see panics like this, chain mail and people trying to circumvent different systems, it all speaks to the kinds of anxiety we have not being able to communicate and how important our communication system is,” said Joan Donovan, research director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.

“When it’s in crisis, some people are going to take advantage of that, and other people are going to spread rumors in order to warn people, just in case,” she said.

Social media platforms that had allowed the QAnon conspiracy theory to flourish are moving to ban accounts that spread its evidence-free claims. But bans can push communities to other digital avenues, including text messaging, where there is less visibility for researchers and law enforcement.

Private, chain-mail-style disinformation played a key role in Myanmar’s genocide in 2017, U.N. investigators found, as copied-and-pasted rumors about Rohingya Muslims saturated Facebook’s Messenger service.

You May Like: Why Is Donald Trump Such An Asshole

    I Don’t Really Care Do U

Whenever I see the face of Melania Trump I find myself asking who is she. Certainly this first lady is a mystery. In fact she is a public figure who rarely speaks. Therefore one of the few clues to who she is her wardrobe. However even that comes up short . In fact I am not the first to mention that Melania Trump wears some great clothes . When we she her we see a parade of some of the most talented designers outfits. But that is just what they are designer clothes without a sense of style .

In fact the first lady has no style . To put it another way, she’s a mediocre model, wearing clothes but giving us little else. Since a great model is more about attitude and personality , in her case the previous seems mundane and the latter nonexistent . However we have nothing else to go on. Therefore people are forced to try to figure her out from her wardrobe.

Hence the mystery was there again this week. When she wore a Zara jacket printed with the words I dont really care, do u?. She donned this jacket while en route to visit migrant children at the US-Mexico border. In the middle of a crisis over the Trump administrations family separation policy. In my opinion it seems impossible that not a single person on her team no stylist, PR person, or aide had questioned the harsh implications of that message. Therefore my darlings we have to assume it was intended .

Donald Trump Really Wants You To Text His Name To 88022 But Will He Ever Text Back

At Donald Trump rallies and news conferences, the invocation is very often printed in the cameras’ lines of sight to ensure maximum exposure:

    Text “Trump” to 88022

If you assumed this is a fundraising ploy, you’d be wrong. The Republican presidential front-runner is self-funding his campaign, remember?

Instead of money, Trump ostensibly wants a channel to communicate directly with voters. His website advertises “exclusive updates” for those who subscribe to the texting service.

One problem: Trump doesn’t seem to use the service very often.

Two weeks ago, on the day of the Wisconsin primary, I signed up and prepared for The Donald to Make My iPhone Great Again with the exclusive updates I had been promised. Here’s how it went.

And then … nothing for 14 days.

Last week, Fix colleague Philip Bump had the good idea to subscribe using a New York ZIP code to see whether the Trump campaign might be targeting residents of the Empire State ahead of the primary. He got nothing for five days.

Finally, on primary day Tuesday, the first exclusive updates arrived.

Later, after I asked the campaign about its use or underuse of the text line, both Bump and I received this message.

    What. A. Waste.

Maybe, in another message, Trump could ask subscribers to name the No. 1 issue in the campaign: Text “A” for immigration, “B” for terrorism, “C” for trade, “D” for gun rights.

Take Survey NOW, the text continued, linking to a survey with questions like:

    • President Trump

    • A Socialist Fraud

When I completed the survey, I was directed to a page asking me to donate between $42 and $2,800.

The Trump campaign sends multiple texts like these every day to me and millions of Americans whose numbers have ended up in the campaigns database often without the consent of the recipient.

Some of the texts are designed to make you feel special, like an extra-patriotic member of an exclusive club. Theyll dangle offers of signed MAGA hats or fancy dinners with the president, which no one appears to have ever won. LAST DAY to accept your personal invitation to dinner with Pres. For people who arent motivated by gimmicky contests, the campaign also utilizes shame: Pres Trump noticed you ignored his text, Jessica. Your names still MISSING on the End of Month list. Donate in NEXT HOUR for a 6X-MATCH.

The texts are easy to mock especially the ones featuring failson Donald Trump Jr. pleading for money on behalf of his father.

WASHINGTON, Jan 11 – The decision by tech companies to clamp down on President Donald Trump’s ability to speak to followers through mainstream social media may force him to tap more traditional methods of communication or more isolated conservative online channels during his final days in office, experts say.

Twitter Inc , Facebook Inc , Alphabet Inc-owned Google , Apple Inc and Amazon.com Inc took their strongest actions yet against Trump to limit his reach, fearing continued violence stemming from his posts after his supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol building last week. They were joined by smaller tech companies including Twitch, Snapchat, Reddit, Shopify and TikTok. read more

Mitch McConnell’s entire being is — and always has been — focused on winning elections. Every move he makes and every thing he says is part of a broader effort to ensure that his side winds up with more seats — and therefore more control — than the other guys.

“I do think we need to be thinking about the future and not the past. I think the American people are focusing on this administration, what it’s doing to the country, and it’s my hope the ’22 election will be a referendum on the performance of the current administration, not a rehash of suggestions about what may have happened in 2020.”

Donald Trump Offering Personalized Messages On Post

Former President Donald Trump has a large and fiercely loyal following of supporters, and now he’s given them a way to request a personalized message.

Trump’s post-presidential website has a section where supporters can request a message from the ex-president and former first lady Melania Trump for a “special occasion.”

It’s not uncommon for a former president to give people a way to reach, and you can request a personalized memento from former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Requesting a message from the Trumps is fairly easy and can be submitted electronically directly from his website. The form asks about the occasion, information on the recipient and requestor and any additional details the former president should know.

Receiving a message from Trump isn’t guaranteed, though, and requires planning because it can take up to six weeks to get a greeting. The office won’t provide status updates, either, and advises people to not resubmit a request because a duplicate request will supersede the original submission and delay processing.

Record high numbers of people turned out in last November’s election, and although he lost to Joe Biden, Trump received the most votes of any Republican presidential candidate in history. He hasn’t ruled out making another bid for the presidency in 2024, and a majority of his supporters are willing to back him as the Republican nominee.
