What Is The Name Of Trumps Private Jet

Donald Trump’s Private Helicopter Worth Over $1 Million Up For Sale After Election Loss

Trump Plane Flies Over Cruz Rally

Donald Trump’s personal helicopter and mainstay throughout his career has hit the market for a price tag of more than $1 million.

The soon-to-be ousted president has never been shy about his love of private jets and helicopters, owning three choppers and several other private aircrafts.

And now bidders could get their hands on the Sikorsky S-76B Trump’s personal helicopter which was used extensively during his 2016 election campaign.

In fact, before its most recent paint job, the private helicopter used to bear Trump’s name on its tail and featured heavily during the real estate mogul’s stint on hit TV show The Apprentice.

Currently in storage at a hangar in New Jersey, the aircraft bears the Trump Organization’s distinctive color palette of black and red stripes and still carries the U.S. civil registration code N76DT in reference to its owner.

The listing, which appears via Aero Asset and Jet Edge Partners, does not give a price.

However, according to a New York Times piece, the helicopter was valued at approximately $875,000 back in 2016.

After Trump’s election loss and the notoriety associated with his name, it is anticipated the aircraft has gained extra market value and could secure around $1.5 million, autoevolution suggests.

The luxury chopper accommodates six in its executive cabin interior with a carpeted interior and floor to ceiling panelling of African mahogany veneer, according to a recent sale brochure.

Donald Trump’s $100 Million Private Jet Features Gold

If theres one thing we can all agree on about Donald Trump, its this: hes no stranger to luxury. So its no surprise that his private jet, a Boeing 757-200 thats been custom-outfitted to meet Mr. Trumps exacting desires, is quite a bit more luxurious than Jackie Chan’s.

Still, despite its over-the-top lavish finishes that put traditional first class cabins to shame, Trump Force One the unofficial name for the aircraft may actually be a much more economical option than Air Force One, the official aircraft assigned to transporting the President of the United States.

In May 2012, the Congressional Research Service reported that the cost of operating Air Force One is $179,750 per hour, a figure which includes fuel, flight consumables, depot repairs, aircraft overhaul and engine overhaul. While exact figures for Trump Force One’s hourly operating costs are unknown, a standard Boeing 757 is known to cost between $8,000-$13,000 per hour to operate, which means Trumps hourly costs probably fall around the 5-7% mark of those incurred by Air Force One. It’s not quite comparing apples to apples, given that Air Force One comes equipped with military-grade defense systems, but the numbers are still crystal clear: if Trump flies in his own jet as President, it could actually lead to some significant taxpayer savings.

Whatever happens, Trump Force One is still a spectacle in and of itself. Take a peek inside below, or watch a quick video tour of the aircraft here.

The Supreme Leaders Love Of Flying

Kim Jong-uns father, former North Korea leader Kim Jong-il, was afraid of flying and traveled to China and Russia by private armored train. Kim Jong-un, on the other hand, is reported to have a deep admiration for aviation. Since he came into power, he has built small runways long enough to land light aircraft near each of his family compounds. The countrys state television channel has shown videos which may be doctored of Kim piloting planes, including a small single-engined plane similar to a Cessna that was manufactured in North Korea.25

Controversy Surrounding The Plane

While the plan to provide the Israeli Prime Minister with a new private jet is well underway, many Israelis consider it to be an extravagant expense. In 2013, Netanyahu came under fire from the media for spending $127,000 to outfit an El Al plane with a double bed for a five-hour flight to London when the aircraft already had a business or first class cabin with reclining seats.32 However, the government considers the aircraft to fill a major national security need.33

George W Bush Briefly Had A Navy One

Trump Teases New Social Media Platform and Abandons Private Jet | The Tonight Show

Since the One designation is for aircraft carrying the president, its no surprise that George W. Bush dubbed the plane that landed him on the USS Abraham Lincoln following the invasion of Iraq in 2003 Navy One. The Lockheed S-3 Viking was designed to be an anti-submarine jet, not transportation for the president, of course. Navy One was retired and is now on display at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.

Trump 757 Prepares To Return To Skies With New Coat Of Paint

Trumps 757 jet , over 30 years old and purchased in 2011 from Microsoft founder Paul Allen, was his preferred means of transportation during his 2016 campaign. Upon his victory, it was placed in storage in New York since he had Air Force One, usually operated by a modified Boeing 747-200, at his disposal for the next four years.

After leaving office, he started using a much smaller Citation jet, but promised in 2021 that his 757 would fly again. The aircraft underwent extensive maintenance work near Lake Charles, Louisiana and has recently received a fresh paint job, which preserved the aircrafts familiar livery with one exception. The large T on the tail wing has been replaced with an American flag.

The process of repainting an aircraft is not easy and I was quite impressed by this video put together by Landlocked Aviation Services, the firm which did the work:

Tyson Grenzebach, who works for Landlocked, told WTOC:

Eric Trump, the former Presidents son, shared a shorter video on Twitter:

SHES BACK!!

Eric Trump

The move, perhaps not so coincidentally, comes as Trump has purportedly told his inner circle that he had decided to run again for president in 2024 and will make the formal announcement this autumn, a full year two years ahead of the election.

Trumps Vip Boeing 757 Readying To Fly Again With This Huge Change

With rumors that former President Donald J. Trump is about to announce he is running for the White House in 2024, his son Eric teased that his father’s VIP Boeing 757 private jet, little used since he took office in 2017, is getting ready to fly again.

The Trump scion tweeted on June 6, “She’s back,” with a video credited to Lake Charles, Louisiana-based Landlocked Aviation Services. The 97-second clip shows what appears to be the jet dubbed Trump Force One getting a new paint job.

The 45th president followed that up by posting on his Truth Social network, “During my four years in the White House, the Boeing 757 we campaigned on the for our big 2016 WIN. Now it has been completely modernized and renovated and looks GREAT, all done in the Great State of Louisiana and coming back to the skies in the Fall of 2022, or maybe sooner. Get ready!”

There seems to be one huge difference. A large American flag replaces the oversize T that previously graced the Boeings tail, which otherwise carries a similar look.

Cessna Citation X Jet

Donald Trump’s Luxurious Chopper

One of Trumps aircraft that’s still up and running is his 1997 Cessna Citation X, which became a famous sight on the 2016 campaign trail. The private jet is more compact than his Boeing 757-200, with a cabin height of five feet and seven inches eight inches shorter than Trump himself and room for nine passengers. This one doesnt come with a private shower onboard but is kitted out with “top of the line interiors” according to the Trump Organization, while its exterior is emblazoned with the signature Trump Crest. The Cessna was grounded for a short period in 2016 as the licence expired, but Trump manoeuvred his way out of any legal difficulties by selling the jet to himself.

Of all the things connected to Donald J. Trump, few have given him more mileage than his fleet of aircraft.

His Boeing 757 jet, often referred to as Trump Force One, has received the full rich-and-famous lifestyle treatment The Washington Post even queried whether it was better than Air Force One.

One of Mr. Trumps helicopters has gotten similar coverage an interior renovation made CNBCs Secret Lives of the Super Rich in a segment entitled Pimp My Chopper.

A close look at Mr. Trumps two airplanes the 757 and a smaller jet used on the campaign trail and three helicopters, however, suggests that their value rests chiefly in their marketing potential, with the Trump stamp of status masking the fleets age.

Four of the five aircraft are more than 20 years old, a rarity for most billionaires. The exception is a 19-year-old Cessna 750 Citation X the only one of the five without the Trump name painted on it in large letters. The smaller plane was grounded last week after The New York Times reported that its registration had expired in January. It is now cleared to fly again, according to the F.A.A.

Its like a new plane, Mr. Trump said in a documentary that showed off some of the renovations. The plane is very much an extension of the Trump brand.

The jet is quite lavish, as seen in this 2011 Youtube video released by Trump’s marketing department.
