Will Trump Win 2020 Presidential Election

Pressure On Justice Department

President Donald Trump attempts to claim election victory as several states still count ballots

In late December, Trump reportedly phoned Rosen “nearly every day” to tell him about claims of voter fraud or improper vote counts. Donoghue took notes of a December 27, 2020, phone call between him, Rosen and Trump in which he characterized the president saying, “Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen.” The next day Jeffrey Clark, acting assistant attorney general for the civil division, approached Rosen and Donoghue with a draft letter and requested them to sign it. The letter was addressed to officials in the state of Georgia, saying that the Justice Department had evidence that raised “significant concerns” about the outcome of the presidential election, contrary to what Barr had publicly announced weeks earlier, and suggesting that the Georgia legislature “call itself into special session for he limited purpose of considering issues pertaining to the appointment of Presidential Electors.” Both Rosen and Donoghue refused to sign the letter, and it was never sent.

Trump’s Refusal To Concede

Early in the morning on November 4, with vote counts still going on in many states, Trump claimed he had won. For weeks after the networks had called the election for Biden, Trump refused to acknowledge that Biden had won. Biden described Trump’s refusal as “an embarrassment”. In the wake of the election, the General Services Administration refused to formally acknowledge Biden’s victory, and the White House ordered government agencies not to cooperate with the Biden transition team in any way. Starting in 1896, when William Jennings Bryan established a precedent of formal concession by sending a congratulatory telegram to President-elect William McKinley, every losing major party presidential candidate has formally conceded.

Trump acknowledged Biden’s victory in a tweet on November 15, although he refused to concede and blamed his loss on fraud, stating: “He won because the Election was Rigged.” Trump then tweeted: “I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go.”

In a June 2021 interview with Sean Hannity, Trump stated that “we didn’t win” and said that he wished President Biden success in international diplomacy, which Forbes declared as Trump ” as close as he’s ever been to conceding his 2020 election loss.”

Description As Attempted Coup Before The Capitol Attack

Multiple media outlets characterized the efforts as an attempted coup. In addition, cable news political commentators for MSNBC and former Republican congressman Joe Scarborough cited the Wikipedia article “coup d’état” and specified that this would technically be an autocoup. Consistent with the notion of an attempted coup and rejection of the results of the 2020 election, longtime Republican strategist Steve Schmidt stated: “The Republican Party is an organized conspiracy for the purposes of maintaining power for self-interest, and the self-interest of its donor class… It’s no longer dedicated to American democracy.”

On the January 4, 2021, edition of Real America’s Voice’s The War Room , Steve Bannon, while discussing the planning for the upcoming events and speech by Trump on January 6 at The Ellipse, said: “Live from our nation’s capital, you’re in the field headquarters of one of the small divisions of the bloodless coup.”

When news broke about Trump’s December 27, 2020 call with Rosen telling the Justice Department to say the election was “corrupt and leave the rest to me”, Ari Melber on MSNBC described Trump’s activities up through that time as a soft coup.

Gen Z Candidate Wins Democratic Nomination In Florida’s 10th District

Maxwell Frost, a 25-year-old community organizer and one of the first members of Gen Z to run for Congress, will win the Democratic nomination in Floridas 10th District, CNN projects.

He bested a crowded field of candidates looking to replace Democratic Rep. Val Demings in the Orlando district including state Sen. Randolph Bracy, former US Rep. Corrine Brown who recently settled a federal corruption case after winning a new trial and serving more than two years in prison and former US Rep. Alan Grayson.

Demings vacated the deep-blue district seat to run for Senate. She clinched the Democratic nomination Tuesday and will face GOP Sen. Marco Rubio in November.

Ahead of the primary, Frost a gun violence prevention activist who this summer disrupted conservative talk show host Dave Rubins public interview of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis with calls to end gun violence generated considerable buzz.

He was endorsed by progressives Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, as well as the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC, and he had raised $1.5 million through Aug. 3, more than any other candidate in the field, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

For the first time in 2022, members of Generation Z those born after 1996 could be elected to the US House of Representatives. Frost on the campaign trail has leaned into his youth and says that if elected to Congress, he would bring the fervor of Gen Z with him.

From left to right: President Donald Trump. Torah

Six months before the next presidential elections are scheduled to be held, Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson, an expert in Bible codes, made a bold prediction President Trump will win his bid for reelection. Rabbi Glazerson uses software to find hidden clues in equidistant letters in the Torah and six months before the 2016 elections, at a time when Hillary Clinton was almost universally predicted to win the presidency, Rabbi Glazerson used his Bible-based technique to predict a Trump victory.

In his recent video predicting an incumbent presidency, Rabbi Glazerson referred to the accuracy of his previous prediction.

It was so clearly written in the Torah, Rabbi Glazerson said.So this is what you are going to see now, maybe not as clear but still a very important teaching. This is the Torah that God used to create the world and there it is written clearly what we should do with the world.

It is interesting to note that four years ago, another Torah Codes scholar predicted a Clinton victory, one that seemed supported by the polls, however Rabbi Glazersopns prediction proved to be accurate. The election was hotly contested and many kabbalists weighed in as well.

The rabbi opened by explaining the extreme nature of current events in reference to the Biblical flood that destroyed all of humanity in the generation of Noah.

At this point the rabbi addressed skeptics.

Cnn Projection: Crist Will Win Democratic Nomination For Florida Governor And Face Desantis In November

Rep. Charlie Crist will win the Democratic nomination for Florida governor, CNN projects, and face incumbent Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in November.

Crist defeated Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried in the primary. He is a former Republican governor of the Sunshine State who switched parties and now serves in Congress as a Democrat.

Crist was elected governor as a Republican in 2006, and then ran for Senate as an independent in 2010, losing to Republican Marco Rubio. Crist then ran for governor in 2014 as a Democrat and lost to now-Sen. Rick Scott, a Republican. Crist won his House seat as a Democrat in 2016.

Abortion emerged as a major issue in the Democratic primary, with Frieds campaign attacking Crists record on the issue and Crist responding with a TV ad. The two Democrats spent much of the race taking shots at DeSantis.

See How New York’s New Congressional Map Sets Up A Member Vs Member House Primary

New York Judge Patrick McAllister approved the new congressional map drawn by a court-appointed special master. The map most likely gives Democrats an advantage in 19 districts. Under a blocked map the Democratic-controlled legislature drew earlier this year, Democrats had hoped to gain a path to about 22 seats.

New York will have a member-versus-member House primary as longtime Manhattan-based Reps. Jerry Nadler and Carolyn Maloney were placed in the new 12th Congressional District.

Shifts in voting power: New York loses one of its 27 seats in the House after the 2020 census. Under the new map, there is an additional Hispanic-majority district in New York City, for a total of three. There are also two fewer White-majority districts.

CNNs Melissa DePalo, Eleanor Stubbs and Christopher Hickey contributed to this report.

LIVE: Americans Celebrate as Joe Biden Defeats Donald Trump to Win 2020 Election

In early August, the page “The Masters Plan,”read, “We need to get serious about election integrity. The 2020 election was a rotten mess — if we had had a free and fair election, President Trump would be sitting in the Oval Office today and America would be so much better off.”

The page now only says, “We need to get serious about election integrity.”

In another section of Masters’ website regarding immigration, Masters wrote, “Joe Biden and Mark Kelly caused this crisis. They canceled the Border Wall construction. They invite illegals to come here and give them housing and cash. The Democrats dream of mass amnesty, because they want to import a new electorate.”

Masters removed the last line, which nods to the great replacement conspiracy theory.

Takeaways: Big Trump Win Election Deniers Advance In Nevada

WASHINGTON Donald Trump notched a significant victory in South Carolina, where his preferred candidate easily ousted five-term Rep. Tom Rice, the first Republican to be booted from office after voting to impeach the former president last year. But another high-profile GOP target of Trump in the state, Rep. Nancy Mace, held back a challenger.

Meanwhile, in Nevada on Tuesday, two election deniers who have tirelessly promoted the former presidents lies about voter fraud won their primaries for key positions of power in the state.

Takeaways from the latest round of primary elections:

SPLIT DECISION IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Rice and Mace have been objects of Trumps anger ever since a mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol to stop the certification of Joe Bidens presidential election win.

Their transgressions? Mace stated on national TV that Trumps entire legacy was wiped out by the attack, while Rice became an apostate for joining a small group of Republicans who voted with Democrats in favor of Trumps second impeachment.

He threw a temper tantrum that culminated with the sacking of the United States Capitol, Rice told NBC News on Monday. Its a direct attack on the Constitution, and he should be held accountable.

All mail ballots and early in-person ballots must be reported to the Florida department of State within 30 minutes after polls close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Yes Of Course Donald Trump Can Win In 2024

When I meet people and they find out I am a political reporter, they inevitably and immediately ask some version of this question: Is he going to run again? And can he win?

The he there just in case youve spent the last six years on another planet is Donald Trump.

And the answers to those questions are probably yes and definitely. As in, yes, Trump is probably going to run for president again in 2024. And, yes, he would have a very real chance of winning.

Lets take the second half of that question first. A new Wall Street Journal poll shows Trump and President Joe Biden each at 45% among registered voters in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, results that are largely unchanged since the last time WSJ asked the question in November.

The simple fact is that if the 2020 presidential race was re-run today, it would effectively be a pure toss up.

Which, if you think about it, makes sense. While Biden took more than 300 electoral votes, his margins in a series of swing states like Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were decidedly narrow. And had those states gone for Trump, he would have almost certainly been reelected.

Now, that is putting the cart before the horse. So, lets return to the first question: Will Trump run?

If you believe him, then yes.

But, its true.
