How To Thank President Trump

Thank You Mister Trump

Israel PM Netanyahu: “Thank you President Trump!”

This is not the sort of article you normally see here at The Bulwark, the worlds largest superspreader of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And to be honest with you, I didnt want to write it. But somebody had to. Because, my goodness, what a week it has been for Donald J. Trump. I do not say this lightly: This might go down in history as one of the greatestif not the greatestdemonstration of leadership the world has ever seen.

I had hoped that one of President Trumps just calling balls and strikes defenders in the conservative media would have written this column so I didnt have to butand I know this sounds crazythe cupboard seems to be prettttty bare when it comes to Trump attaboys out there on the internets. I mean, aside from Whiplash Survivor Association of America spokesperson Scott Walker.)

Maybe its because the folks in Conservatism Inc. are all just so awed by the presidents performance that theyre struggling to find the right words to describe its magnificence.

I looked around National Review, the Federalist, the Daily Caller, Fox News, and the Daily Wire. Lotta content about how bad the media is. None of the sites are very big fans of antifa. But not many pro-Trump attaboys. Trump couldnt even get a pat on the back from Tucker Carlson.

Much respect.

I popped up onto the Twitter feeds of some big Trump defenders on the Hill to see if I could find some Real American Patriots over there. No dice.

He hid.

New Trump Campaign Ad Asks Supporters To Call 1

President Trumps reelection campaign released a new TV ad urging his supporters to call a 1-800 hotline to thank him.

In the new ad, Trumps 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale is seen lauding the president for having achieved more during his time in office than any president in history.

We have a booming economy, historically low unemployment, including the lowest unemployment rate for minorities in history, Parscale said, while also adding that the world is a safer place because of the president.

Parscale went on to say this is why Trumps supporters must pick up the phone right now and deliver a personal thank you to your president for all the work hes achieved.

We need to let President Trump know that we appreciate what hes doing for America, he continues. I need you to call the number on your screen and deliver a thank you to President Trump.

The ad ends with Trump saying: Im Donald Trump and I approved this message.

Parscale in the video is wearing a Thin Blue Line flag lapel pin in support of the Blue Lives Matter movement.

The ad, which was released by Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., has already started to go viral on social media, The Washington Post reports.

A video of the ad, which reportedly ran on CNN, was tweeted by journalist Yashar Ali on Monday night and has since gone on to rack up more than 247,000 views as of Tuesday afternoon.

    Thank You Mr President Trump

Whatever you think of President Biden, the fact that he is sitting in the White House and former President Donald Trump isn’t is the best thing the United States has going for it in this present crisis.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine demands a response that is both firm and restrained, a hard balance to achieve because it requires a willingness to punish Vladimir Putin while at the same time not allowing the cycle of escalation to spin out of control. That requires a combination of good judgment and diplomatic skills to execute correctly. Biden hasn’t been perfect, but so far his administration has mostly found the sweet spot. Good for him, and us.

Trump, meanwhile, is out there doing what he always does: Saying provocative, dangerous stuff.

Here he is on Saturday night, speaking to Republican donors in New Orleans:

Trump mused to donors that we should take our F-22 planes, “put the Chinese flag on them and bomb the shit out” out of Russia. “And then we say, China did it, we didn’t do, China did it, and then they start fighting with each other and we sit back and watch.”

    Josh Dawsey

Maybe he was joking. But presidents, and those who aspire to the presidency, don’t have the luxury of frivolity in matters of war and peace.

Over the last few weeks, Trump has reminded us of three characteristics that make him unsuitable for national leadership during wartime:

    Finally, there’s the nuclear question.

David Litt: I was a speechwriter for Obama. Started in the White House in 2011, lasted until 2016. I pitched jokes, really, throughout the Obama years, but during four of those years 2012 through 2015 I was kind of the person running point on the Correspondents Dinner from inside the building. I had probably stressed out more about this than most people. Not everybody, but most people in politics. Letter: Thank You President Trump

Thanks to President Donald Trumps leadership, we are experiencing a medical miracle. We are at the beginning of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic two COVID vaccines approved by the FDA in nine months! Typically, vaccine development, testing and approval takes approximately eight to 12 years. Needless red tape was cut, but no safety corners were cut. By staying the course, President Trump has given all of us hope. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

At the beginning of the outbreak in the U.S., the president created the Coronavirus Task Force and Operation Warp Speed. By designating Vice President Mike Pence to head up the task force, the Trump administration brought together pharmaceutical companies, medical experts, private companies and many more, tasking them with creating, manufacturing and distributing a vaccine to save millions of lives.

In the week ending Dec. 20, 2.9 million doses have been administered across America. Next week, with the Moderna approval, 5.9 million doses will be administered and with an additional 20 million vaccinations to take place by the end of December. This is truly a Christmas miracle!

We are not out of the woods yet, but I truly believe this is the beginning of the end to this horrific pandemic.

Transcript Of Trumps Speech At Rally Before Us Capitol Riot

President Donald Trump spoke at a rally near the White House on Jan. 6 before a mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol to try to stop Congress from certifying President-elect Joe Bidens victory. Trump was impeached Wednesday by the U.S. House on a single charge of incitement of insurrection.

Heres a transcript of Trumps Jan. 6 speech:

Well, thank you very much. This is incredible.

Media will not show the magnitude of this crowd. Even I, when I turned on today, I looked, and I saw thousands of people here. But you dont see hundreds of thousands of people behind you because they dont want to show that.

We have hundreds of thousands of people here and I just want them to be recognized by the fake news media. Turn your cameras please and show whats really happening out here because these people are not going to take it any longer. Theyre not going to take it any longer. Go ahead. Turn your cameras, please. Would you show? They came from all over the world, actually, but they came from all over our country.

I just really want to see what they do. I just want to see how they covered. Ive never seen anything like it. But it would be really great if we could be covered fairly by the media. The media is the biggest problem we have as far as Im concerned, single biggest problem. The fake news and the Big tech.

We will not let them silence your voices. Were not going to let it happen, Im not going to let it happen.

    Thank you.

Should Joe Biden Thank Donald Trump For Vaccine Rollout Operation Warp Speed Debated

A number of conservative and Republican figures are saying that Joe Biden should be thanking Donald Trump for spurring on the development of a COVID-19 vaccine as the president announced hopes for the country to be “back to normal” by July 4.

In an address, Biden announced to the nation that all adult Americans will be eligible for the vaccine by May 1, with the goal of having a number of lockdown restrictions lifted by Independence Day.

“If we do our part, if we do this together, by July the 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout and a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day,” Biden said.

“That doesn’t mean large events with lots of people together, but it does mean small groups will be able to get together.”

Following the announcement, a number of people suggested Biden should have credited the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed for putting in the groundwork for the current vaccine rollout, as well fast-tracking three vaccines which were developed during Trump’s time in office.

“Joe, you want unity? Why don’t you just thank Donald Trump?” Fox News host Sean Hannity said on Thursday night.

“You want us all to get along, you say. No Trump, no vaccine, Joe. Stop trying to take credit for something, frankly, you had nothing to do with. Nothing.”
