Trump Fires Back At Bannon: He ‘lost His Mind’ After Losing Job

Trump: Bannon has lost his mind – GN Headlines

Trump’s statement bashed Bannon for pretending “to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was.

“It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books,” Trump added.

The president attacked Bannon for backing Roy Moore in Alabama, a race that the Republican lost last month to Democrat Doug Jones. Trump also endorsed Moore.

“Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country…Steve doesn’t represent my base he’s only in it for himself.”

How Biden Beat Trump

Vice President Mike Pence, who will preside over Wednesday’s vote, has also supported their challenge.

There is no credible evidence to support anything other than a decisive Joe Biden victory and this latest move by Republican senators, led by Ted Cruz of Texas, will inevitably fail.

So why are these lawmakers planning to contest Wednesday’s vote? Do they really agree with this theory the election was cheated?

Some of those challenging the result are rising stars in the Republican Party and their move is seen as an attempt to win favour with President Trump and his loyal base of supporters. Critics are accusing them of putting their political ambition ahead of their constitutional responsibility.

The claims of fraud have been rejected by the former attorney general and electoral officials on both sides.

Court after court has thrown out legal challenges from the Trump campaign, including the Supreme Court with its conservative majority.

Mr Biden won by more than seven million votes nationally and gained 74 more electoral college votes than Mr Trump – the same margin of victory Mr Trump repeatedly called a “landslide” when it favoured him in 2016.

Protests by Trump supporters and challenges by Republican politicians won’t change the outcome of the election.

Donald Trump will be succeeded, but it seems Trumpism may be here to stay. And his greatest legacy will likely be the erosion of trust in American democracy.

Trump Breaks With Bannon Saying He Has Lost His Mind

WASHINGTON President Trump excommunicated his onetime chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, from his circle on Wednesday, ending for now a partnership of convenience that transformed American politics while raising questions about the future of the nationalist-populist movement they cultivated together.

The rupture came after Mr. Bannon was quoted in a new book disparaging the presidents children, asserting that Donald Trump Jr. had been treasonous in meeting with Russians and calling Ivanka Trump dumb as a brick. Mr. Trump, described by his spokeswoman as furious, disgusted, fired back by saying that Mr. Bannon had lost his mind.

In a , the president excoriated Mr. Bannon as a self-promoting exaggerator who had very little to do with our historic victory in the 2016 presidential election and was only in it for himself. Rather than representing Mr. Trumps hard-core political base or supporting his agenda to make America great again, Mr. Bannon was simply seeking to burn it all down, the president said.

While Mr. Trump had remained in touch with Mr. Bannon after pushing him out of the White House over the summer, the two now appear to have reached a breaking point. Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency, Mr. Trump said. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.

Mr. Wolff, responding by email, said he was wholly comfortable with my numerous sources.

Trump Is Losing His Mind

The president is discussing martial law in the Oval Office, as his grip on reality falters.

He writes widely on political, cultural, religious, and national-security issues, and he is the author of The Death of Politics: How to Heal Our Frayed Republic After Trump.

Donald Trumps descent into madness continues.

The latest manifestation of this is a report in The New York Times that the president is weighing appointing the conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell, who for a time worked on his legal team, to be special counsel to investigate imaginary claims of voter fraud.

As if that were not enough, we also learned that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who was pardoned by the president after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, attended the Friday meeting. Earlier in the week, Flynn, a retired lieutenant general, floated the idea that the president impose martial law and deploy the military to rerun the election in several closely contested states that voted against Trump. It appears that Flynn wants to turn them into literal battleground states.

So he has. And, as a result, President Trump has become even more destabilizing and dangerous.

My concern was, in the worst part of the battle, the general was missing in action, said Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, one of the very few Republicans to speak truth in the Trump era.

The TAKE with Rick Klein

The most prominent political disruptor of his, if not any, generation isn’t done yet.

For all the hopes among leaders in both parties that former President Donald Trump would fade away — or at least see his influence slip — that’s clearly not happening. Trump is relishing the fact that he appears to remain a force who can blow up policy and political plans even without access to or .

“The Republicans again, they just don’t seem to understand at that top-level what the hell is happening,” Trump said at the Conservative Political Action Conference gathering in Dallas Sunday night.

Trump’s influence now transcends the question of whether he runs again in 2024, though he continues to say he’s made up his mind but just won’t say what he’s decided yet. He is weighing in on GOP primaries in scattershot fashion, scrambling calculations and complicating any attempts at coordination from the national or state level.

His now-steady stream of public statements has expanded to include opining against Republicans negotiating with the Biden White House. That adds a new dimension of political risk for incumbents, at a moment where President Joe Biden is close, but not quite there, on a few legislative fronts and where bipartisanship could help close the vaccination gap.

As a general principle, you would think one can lose one election only once. Donald Trumps in-win-cible political acumen shows one can lose the same election again and again and again, with a cussed insistence claiming a win even when one has lost. By some estimates, Trump has now lost over 40 cases trying to overturn an election he lost quite clearly by a staggering 7 million votes.

But to look at the bright side , this makes him an all time great loser. A tremendous loser. Nobody loses better than him. He is the losingest president ever. He is also the author of the lose-lose-lose proposition. Trumps lose canon includes such elegant principles as heads i lose, tails i lose, and lose the battle, lose the war. He has lost count of losing. Replete with inanity, he has lost touch with sanity, lost touch with reality. He has established mastery over losing his cool, losing his temper, losing his head, and losing his bearing. He has lost track and lost ground, lost face and lost heart, lost his mojo and lost his marbles, lost his mind and lost his nerve all by losing faith in the election process.

Recounts Almost Certainly Wont Flip Any Of Those States

So Trumps team has shifted to the idea that recounts in close states will lead to the results being overturned. On Thursday morning, Trump tweeted that an audit of the totals in Arizona would lead to his being declared the states winner.

Again, even if he won Arizona and Georgia, he would still lose the election. But it doesnt matter, because a recount is almost certainly not going to overturn a margin of more than 10,000 votes.

There have been recounts that shifted the results of major elections. A Senate race in Minnesota in 2008 flipped from red to blue after a recount but that involved a margin of a few hundred votes. Thats the normal scale at which a statewide recount might affect the margins: hundreds, not tens of thousands, of votes. George W. Bushs Florida win in 2000 came down to 537 votes, not 10,000.

Consider Georgia, where a recount will be conducted after being triggered by the narrow margin of victory. Let’s say that the recount determines that there’s one extra Trump vote out of every 10,000 ballots cast, a remarkable finding.

Trump would gain about 500 votes, narrowing Biden’s lead to about 13,600.

Don’t believe us that recounts in states like Wisconsin can shift the results? Believe former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, who saw a few recounts in his day.

Or believe Republican strategist Karl Rove, who worked on Trumps campaign in an advisory role and addressed the subject for the Wall Street Journal.

Maxine Waters Slammed For Mocking Trump In Fiery Tweet And Says He Has Lost His Mind

CRITICS have slammed Maxine Waters after the congresswoman raged that President Donald Trump had “lost his mind” on Twitter.

Waters, 82, had also made a dig at the president for losing nearly every legal challenge his campaign has made to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

“Cant wait for January 6th when the electoral votes from the 50 states will be sent to Congress,”Waters tweeted.

She added: “Trump, you LOST the popular vote, the ELECTORAL vote, & youve obviously lost your mind! What does it take for you to understand youre a LOSER. PeriodT !”

Elections officials have repeatedly said there is no evidence of voter fraud that would alter the results of the election.

Though many praised “Auntie Waters” for her use of internet slang “periodt,” which is primarily used by Gen Z, some Republicans took to the comments to bash the congresswoman.

Texas congressman Brian Babin, a Republican, ripped the Democrat for “spewing garbage.”

“Democrats spew this garbage – then claim they want ‘unity’ in the next post. Yeah right,”Babin tweeted.

Another Twitter user slammed Waters as a loser, writing: “If there is any loser, Maxine, its you !! You about to eat some chocolate pie that Minnie made in The Help!!”

One Twitter user used the opportunity to slam President-elect Joe Biden for his election win.

“Least Trump can speak his own mind and not have someone speak for him like Biden has, Biden has to read from a teleprompter so he dont look stupid,”

Trump Is Losing His Mind Over Reports Hes Losing His Mind

Donald Trump has never been the picture of mental stability, but over the last few weeks hes appeared to crank up the crazy from about a 45 to a 337. From seemingly proposing intravenous Lysol as a coronavirus cure to claiming the United States is close to testing 5 million people a day for COVID-19a number so completely absurd that he might as well have said well soon be running 8 billion tests a dayto reportedly threatening to sue his campaign manager over a dimming 2020 outlook, the president has well and truly lost whatever remaining shred of sanity he once had on reserve.

Incidentally, the Brian Williams segment that seemed to unleash the beast referenced the presidents claim on Wednesday that the novel coronavirus, which his own officials have said will likely return in second and third waves, is going away. I think were gonna come up with vaccines and all, but this is going away. Its gonna go, its gonna leave, its gonna be gone, its gonna be eradicated. Williams also touched on first son-in-law Jared Kushners declaration that a situation in which over 60,000 Americans have died is a great success story.

But it was seemingly the reference to the alleged Parscale blowup, first reported by CNN, that really chapped Trumps hide.
