The American Publics Response To 45office

President Trump returns to the White House

Trump supporters could not be more pleased about the launch of the former presidents new website. As seen on social media, Americans who supported and voted for Trump have already used the website to contact him, send messages, and express their warm feelings.

BOOM! Hes baaaaaaack!

Of course, Americans who are not in the former presidents fan club had very different reactions to the launch of 45Office. Trump haters complained about the website, claimed it to be unnecessary, and even suggested that they might use it to send hate messages.

Overall, though, the reactions to 45Office are directly in keeping with partisanship, politics, and opinions about former President Trump.

Are you glad that the 45th president now has a website where supporters can contact him? Let us know in the comments section below.

Trump Faces Questions In A Lawsuit

A lawyer for the plaintiff, Benjamin Dictor, stated that Trump was questioned on various topics that included his comments made at the campaign rallies, where they allege he had seemingly encouraged security personnel to treat protesters harshly, as per AP report. The lawsuit filed by five persons of Mexican origin living in New York have alleged that Trumps bodyguards assaulted them in Manhattan on 3 September, 2015. The people were, as per the AP report, protesting comments that Trump made about Mexico and Mexican immigrants.

According to AP, Benjamin Dictor, the plaintiffs lawyer, mentioned that Trump behaviour in response to the questions matched his public image. Without divulging details into how Trump handled the questioning, he revealed that the former presidents session proceeded like other depositions.

Dictor declined to comment on the substance of Trumps testimony and added that questioning of former President proved that no one is above the law.

Benjamin Dictor said, While we will not comment on the substance of Mr. Trumps testimony at this time, we hope todays events serve as an example that our institutions have prevailed and no one is above the law, as per AP.

Donald Trump Beats Joe Biden In Key Swing States In 2024 Matchup New Poll Shows

New polling shows Donald Trump beating President Joe Biden in five key swing states in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.

First reported by Politico, the surveys reveal the former president leading Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsinall states that went for Trump in 2016 but flipped for Biden in last yearâs race.

The polls were conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates for Trumpâs Make America Great Again Committee.

The former presidentâs biggest lead came in Michigan, as polling showed him defeating Biden by 12 points among likely voters. In Wisconsin, another Midwest state, Trump was ahead of Biden by 10 points.

The Republicanâs margins were tighter in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

In Arizonawhere Biden achieved his closest margin of victory last year with just 10,000 votes separating the two candidatesTrump led by 8 percentage points among likely voters in the next presidential cycle.

In Pennsylvania, Trump was up by 6 points and Georgia by 3 points. Last year, Trump was the first Republican candidate to lose the Peach State in nearly three decades.

The pollsâ findings come as Bidenâs own approval rating plummets. The latest Quinnipiac University survey showed the Democratâs job approval hit a new low, as just 36 percent of Americans think heâs doing a good job in the White House compared to 53 percent of respondents who disapproved.

President Trump delivers a prime time address on Coronavirus response ...

Im never flabbergasted but Im flabbergasted, Mr. John told the president, with tears in his eyes.

Given that the White House was trying to spotlight a variety of causes taken up by the Biden administration, several people involved with the planning insist that nothing about the event had anything to do with the fact that Mr. Bidens predecessor really, really likes Elton John. They say that the singer was simply interested in performing at the White House.

Mr. Bocelli, like Mr. John, very publicly dodged invitations to perform at the Trump inauguration. But no entertainers music except maybe for that of Lee Greenwood is more solidly linked to Mr. Trump than Mr. Johns.

Trumps Bid To Subvert The Election

A monthslong campaign.During his last days in office, President Donald J. Trump and his allies undertook an increasingly urgent effort to undermine the election results. That wide-ranging campaign included perpetuating false and thoroughly debunked claims of election fraud as well as pressing government officials for help.

Baseless claims of voter fraud.Although Mr. Trumps allegations of a stolen election have died in the courts and election officials of both parties from every state have said there is no evidence of fraud, Republicans across the country continued to spread conspiracy theories. Those include 147 House Republicans who voted against certifying the election.

Intervention at the Justice Department.Rebuffed by ranking Republicans and cabinet officials like Attorney General William P. Barr, who stepped down weeks before his tenure was to end, Mr. Trump sought other avenues to peddle his unfounded claims. In a bid to advance his personal agenda, Mr. Trump plotted to oust the acting attorney general and pressed top officials to declare that the election was corrupt. His chief of staff pushed the department to investigate an array of outlandish and unfounded conspiracy theories that held that Mr. Trump had been the victor.

In that subsequent meeting with Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence, Mr. Eastman was the only adviser to the president in the room.

Mr. Eastman said that Mr. Pence then turned to him and asked, Do you think I have such power?

Whtp Reports On Presidential Appointments

The pace of appointments in both the executive and in the Senate accounts for the ability of any administration to carry out its responsibilities to the electorate and to the nation. Appointments fulfill the presidents agenda set by the election and they also stand up the critical functions of the national government, from transportation to space to global economics and national defense. Our personnel trackers report on deliberations across the entire appointments process:

  • WH Identifies: The White House search for appropriate nominees from available candidates. Typically, this stage culminates in an announcement of the presidents intent to nominate a candidate.
  • Executive Review: The executive branch conducts vetting of the candidate. This stage culminates in sending credentials to the Senate as an official nominee.
  • Sen Comm Vetting: The first of two Senate stages, a committee investigates the nominee, culminating in a committee report and recommendation to the full Senate.
  • Sen Floor Process: The final disposition of a nominee in the Senate, culminating in floor vote to confirm the nominee.

WHTPs Personnel Trackers follow the pace of appointments in the new administration by comparison with administrations dating to the rise of the modern appointments system during President Reagans first year. The trackers cover two groups: a common set of 220 critical appointments and a larger, more diverse group of 980 presidential nominations.

Watch President Trump’s farewell speech from White House

he Justice Department has … failed to declassify a single page,” Sens. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., complained to the attorney general in February.

Much of what happened with the documents in those last days of the Trump administration — and ever since — remains shrouded in mystery because current and former government officials involved have refused to speak about it, especially now that the FBI is pursuing its investigation into Trumps alleged mishandling of a separate cache of classified documents.

The story that still emerges, though, from pieces of public statements and Solomons own accounts is one that sheds further light on how Trumps White House treated certain government secrets. And it helps explain how in the midst of the FBI probe Solomon became one of Trumps official representatives to the National Archives.
