Palm Beach Voters To Decide Town Council Seat

The Trumps changed their residence from New York to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach in October 2019. The town’s attorney last month said it was likely Trump could maintain his Palm Beach club as his residence because he could be considered an employee.

Voters in the town of Palm Beach will be making a selection in one race for the Group 1 seat on the town council, between Candace A. Rojas, coming off a loss for a spot on the Palm Beach Soil and Conservation District in November, and Ted Cooney, who served on the towns Landmarks Preservation Commission for a decade.

A voter who requested a mail ballot can still cast a ballot in person if they prefer, but elections staff must verify whether the ballot has been received. The only in-person voting available during this election is on Tuesday.

Mail ballots must be returned to the West Palm Beach elections office by 7 p.m. Tuesday, or 5 p.m. at the elections offices in Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach or Belle Glade.

Donald Trump Offering Personalized Messages On Post

Former President Donald Trump has a large and fiercely loyal following of supporters, and now he’s given them a way to request a personalized message.

Trump’s post-presidential website has a section where supporters can request a message from the ex-president and former first lady Melania Trump for a “special occasion.”

It’s not uncommon for a former president to give people a way to reach, and you can request a personalized memento from former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Requesting a message from the Trumps is fairly easy and can be submitted electronically directly from his website. The form asks about the occasion, information on the recipient and requestor and any additional details the former president should know.

Receiving a message from Trump isn’t guaranteed, though, and requires planning because it can take up to six weeks to get a greeting. The office won’t provide status updates, either, and advises people to not resubmit a request because a duplicate request will supersede the original submission and delay processing.

Record high numbers of people turned out in last November’s election, and although he lost to Joe Biden, Trump received the most votes of any Republican presidential candidate in history. He hasn’t ruled out making another bid for the presidency in 2024, and a majority of his supporters are willing to back him as the Republican nominee.

Chairman Of Jan 6 Witch Hunt Committee Suggests Subpoenaing President Trump Is Not Out Of The Question

Rep. Bennie Thompson, the chair of the Jan. 6 Witch Hunt Committee, told reporters this weekend that subpoenaing President Trump in their sham investigation is not out of the question.

The committee is looking into the Jan. 6 protests and riot but is not releasing video from the day and they are not looking into the murder of two female Trump supporters that day.

Florida Judge Rules Trump Cant Skirt Twitters Terms Just Because He Was President In Latest Legal Setback

A previous version of this article misspelled the name of Taylor Budowich. This article has been corrected.

A Florida federal judge ruled Tuesday that Donald Trumps status as a former president does not exclude him from following Twitters terms of service, the latest setback in his quest to get back on the social media platform after being banned this year.

U.S. District Judge Robert N. Scola Jr. to transfer the case from the Southern District of Florida to the Northern District of California, which is required by a clause in the companys user agreement that all Twitter users sign. The case stems from Twitterpermanently suspending Trump shortly after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol that led to five deaths and injuries to hundreds of people.

While Trumps attorneys have argued that his status as former president exempts him from Twitters clause, and that it was in the public interest for the case to stay in Florida, Scola was unconvinced. In his 13-page ruling, the Miami judge noted that Trump, who lives in Florida, has not advanced any legal authority to support his contention.

The Court finds that Trumps status as President of the United States does not exclude him from the requirements of the forum selection clause in Twitters Terms of Service, wrote Scola, an appointee of President Barack Obama. The Plaintiffs have failed to satisfy their heavy burden to show that this case should not be transferred.

How Trump Can Remain In Office No Matter What

Texas Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed suit to overturn the election results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and hand the presidential election over to Donald Trump. But what if that doesnt work? What if the corrupt Chief Justice John Roberts figures out a way to kill the legal action or avoid what the facts require? What does Trump do then?

Trump and his family and various Republicans have raised tens of millions of dollars to overturn the election fraud. Will all of that money be wasted because Republicans were incapable of guarding against election theft? Trumps supporters dont want to be saddled with a presidential occupant by the name of Joe Biden whose days are numbered in the oval office because of his rapidly progressing onset of dementia.

Vic Biorseth has the answer, articulated in his Open Letter to President Trump Recommending Election Nullification, and published on his Catholic American Thinker web site. Trump must stay in office and nullify the fraudulent results through executive power.

It sounds radical to some, but what would the Courts and the legislative branch do about it? They would, of course, scream and yell. The RINOs like Mitt Romney would act horrified. Former CIA man and Attorney General Bill Barr might resign. Who cares?

The key phrase is that, As President, I have no higher duty than to defend the laws of the Constitution of the United States.

In most cases, you will initially receive a canned response from the government. You may get a response from the government office that you emailed, but the response is usually written by staff members.

In rare cases, you may receive an email from the actual government official. Again, this is rare. Given the volume of emails they receive, it is usually not feasible for the official to personally respond to messages.

A House Committee Released Communications Showing Efforts To Enlist The Doj In Bolstering False Claims The November Election Had Been Rigged

President Donald Trump spoke at the White House in November, weeks after the election.

WASHINGTONThe House Oversight Committee released email exchanges on Tuesday that shed new light on the Trump White Houses unsuccessful efforts to get the Justice Department to investigate baseless claims of voter fraud in the weeks before President Bidens inauguration.

Among the communications was one from former PresidentDonald Trumps chief of staff, Mark Meadows, who on Jan. 1 forwarded to the Justice Department a YouTube link referencing unsubstantiated allegations that people in Italy had manipulated the U.S. election results. A then-senior Justice Department official, Richard Donoghue, had two words for it: Pure Insanity.

Then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen responded to Mr. Donoghue, his deputy: Yes, adding that he had turned down a request for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to meet with someone working with Mr. Trumps lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who purported to have evidence of the claims.
