How Big A Crowd Is Expected

Trumps campaign rally in Winston

This is an often tricky issue with Trump, who has a habit of inflating his crowd sizes. In this case, township officials say they expect somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 people.

It’s anyone’s guess if that number will be low or high. But it does have some fire officials in Washington Township concerned. For one thing, they say the rally is outside the approved use of the Michigan Stars Sports Center space, and it’s possible the number of attendees could be well above the site’s safe occupancy limit. There also are questions about whether there is enough parking and what the effect of traffic will be on local roads.

TULSA Stung by the paltry turnout at his Saturday-night rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Donald J. Trumps campaign has announced plans to hold his next rally in the bunker beneath the White House.

In announcing the rally, Brad Parscale, the chairman of Trumps reëlection campaign, denied that the choice of venue reflected a tepid level of enthusiasm to see the candidate speak.

The bunker holds forty people, Parscale said. That is a much larger seating capacity than Joe Bidens basement.

Despite the choice of such an intimate venue, however, Trump campaign sources are privately worried that they may have difficulty filling the bunker.

According to one source, Jared Kushner spent all of Sunday morning on the phone begging people to attend the bunker rally.

All of Jareds friends said theyre coming, so thats five seats right there, the source said.

He Knows He Lost: Georgia Republican Opposes Trump Before Rally In Perry

Top voting official Brad Raffensperger dismayed that former president uses lies to fundraise

The top election official in Georgia, a Republican, said Donald Trump unequivocally lost the state in 2020, a day before a rally on Saturday night at which Trump repeated baseless accusations of voter fraud.

On the eve of the rally in Perry, Brad Raffensperger told the Washington Examiner: Hes going to come, and hes going to say what hes going to say, but he knows in his heart that he lost.

Last January, the Georgia secretary of state resisted pressure from Trump to find 11,780 votes and thereby overturn Joe Bidens win in the state.

The phone call in which Trump made that demand is at the heart of an investigation in Fulton county.

On Friday, a Brookings Institution report said Trump faces substantial risk of possible state charges predicated on multiple crimes.

Regardless, the former president traveled to Georgia on Saturday for a rally in part to support Herschel Walker, a controversial former NFL running back running to challenge the Democratic senator Raphael Warnock in midterm elections next year.

Warnock and another Democrat, Jonathan Ossoff, won Georgias two Senate seats in runoffs in January. Observers on both sides of the aisle said Trumps claims of electoral fraud depressed Republican turnout.

Nonetheless, he remains ranged against Trumps lie that Biden won the presidency illegally.

Trump says he’ll restart 2020 campaign with Oklahoma rally next Friday

Former President Donald Trump will headline a rally in central Illinois next weekend to help drum up support for his candidate in a GOP House race where two incumbent Republicans are locked in a showdown, thanks to redistricting.

Ahead of June 28’s primary, Trump’s “Save America” rally is scheduled for June 25 at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Mendon, Illinois. Parking will be available starting at 8 a.m., with doors opening and the entertainment beginning at 2 p.m. Speakers will begin taking the stage at 4 p.m., and Trump will deliver his remarks at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available on Trump’s official website, but only two tickets can be reserved per mobile phone number. The event will be livestreamed on Right Side Broadcasting Network’s YouTube channel.

Trump has endorsed freshman Representative Mary Miller in one of six rare incumbent-versus-incumbent House races this year. The Illinois congresswoman is facing off against Representative Rodney Davis after they were both placed in the 15th Congressional District that was newly created by Democratic state lawmakers.

The two incumbents had battled for Trump’s support. Miller centered her campaign on her allegiance to the former president. For his part, Davis, who served as the co-chair of Trump’s 2020 Illinois campaign, said, “I’m proud of my conservative record of working with Trump when he was in office, and I won’t shy away from it.”

Trump Is Hungry For Another Win

The former president kicked off his speech bragging about recent high-profile primary wins for his endorsed candidates in Arizona and Michigan. With a somewhat mixed record for the strength of his endorsement so far, hes looking to seal in the streak with a massive Michels win next Tuesday.

“Now you have to understand who Tim is … he builds massive tunnels, infrastructure, he bores through earth, he bores through mountains,” Trump said. “Hes big time.”

Trump also has another chance for victory in Adam Steen, his recently endorsed candidate against state Speaker Robin Vos in Assembly District 63. Trump and his allies have increasingly agitated against Vos for not doing more to decertify Wisconsins 2020 election results. The crowd cheered loudly for Steens appeal to toss Vos.

We need to fire Robin Vos and replace him with Adam Steen, Trump said. A lot of people think a Democrat, actually.

Trump Supporters From Near And Far Gather At Iowa State Fairgrounds

Hours before the rally began, thousands of supporters and merchants selling Trump paraphernalia lined up at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Among the revelers was T. Trump, a Vietnamese immigrant who traveled with other Vietnamese immigrants from California. T. Trump and others said they legally changed their last name to Trump out of respect for the king.

When you have a king that really works hard the people take over his name, said T. Trump, 55, wearing an American-flag-themed cowboy hat. Wherever Trump goes, we came here for freedom. We dont want to lose this country. You were born free, you want to live free, you want to die free.

Diana Johnson, 66, and Lori Ediger, 58 sisters from Nebraska arrived at the fairgrounds at 5:30 a.m.

Ediger was so excited, she couldnt sleep.

This guys a man of his word, Ediger said. He does what he says hes going to do.

Both were decked out in American-flag-themed clothing and Trump 2024 attire.

Biden shouldnt be in the White House, Johnson said. Period.

Sheryl Robins, a retired nurse from Osceola, said she was glad to see the energy inside the fairgrounds. It was her first Trump rally since 2016.

She said she likes how Trump brought his background as a businessman to the White House and how he supported veterans and the economy. She said shes been unhappy with how Biden has handled those issues.

Robins said she wanted to hear what changes Trump would make if he runs again in 2024.
