Crowd Accused Of Qanon Salute

Live: Trump Holds Campaign Rally In North Carolina | NBC News

Members of the crowd at Trump’s rally have been accused of using a one-finger salute related to the QAnon conspiracy theory for the second time.

Video taken from the rally appears to show staff stopping the crowd from making the salute while melodramatic music played in the background. Rally attendees at Trump’s event in Youngstown, Ohio last weekend were accused of making the gesture, which critics have said is linked to QAnon.

Some have argued that the salute is a reference to the “where we go one we go all” motto of the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory, while others say it is a reference to Trump’s “America First” slogan.

The dramatic music that played during the rally is also allegedly associated with QAnon and played at Trump’s Ohio rally and previously at his rally in Pennsylvania on September 3.

Newsweek has contacted Trump’s office for comment.

Us Could ‘end Up In World War 3’

Trump questioned President Joe Biden‘s mental capabilities and suggested the U.S. could end up fighting another world war.

“We have a President who is cognitively impaired and in no condition to lead our country, which may very well end up in World War 3,” Trump told rally-goers.

His comments come at a time of heightened tensions after Russia announced a partial mobilization of its armed forces earlier this week and Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared to threaten the West with nuclear weapons.

Trump Claims He Won The 2020 Election Again

Like a broken record, it wouldn’t be a Trump rally without the former president falsely claiming he won the 2020 presidential election and accusing the Democrats of stealing it from him, The Independent reported.

Though in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, Trump won North Carolina – albeit with a smaller margin in 2020.

Speaker 1: Im curious, has your stance on election integrity or lack thereof been a political divide in Arizona, or do you see people from both sides at all reaching to get to the bottom of this? Does it seem to be a right leaning thing?

Speaker 2: I talk to a lot of people every day, and obviously when people are showing up to hear me speak theyre already interested in conservative ideas. But occasionally I get people who are Democrats who show up and say, I dont like whats going on right now.

Speaker 2: Usually the people that are opposed to bringing back faith and restoring honesty to our elections have not been following it. Theyre believing theres no evidence and they havent done the homework and research to see how much corruption. The level of corruption is appalling. Once people start to learn about that, then they say, Weve got to fix this. Its not Democrat. Its not independent. Its not a Republican issue. Its an American issue.

Speaker 2: And this will be our last election if we do not restore honesty to it. And thats why Im vowing as a mother, as a candidate for governor, as someone who loves Arizona, Im vowing to make sure that we bring that honesty back to our elections.

Speaker 13: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the 45th president of the United States of America, Donald

During his speech, Trump compared his controversial political career to that of a fighter.

“There’s never been a president that’s gone through the crap that I’m going through, left, right – you feel like a fighter – left, right and then you get up and knock the hell out of them,” the former president told the crowd.

How Donald J Trump Still Looms

The symbiosis between speaker and audience is a reminder of Mr. Trumps powerful hold on the Republican Partys base heading into his 2020 re-election bid. Although two former congressmen, Joe Walsh of Illinois and Mark Sanford of South Carolina, have both recently announced primary challenges against Mr. Trump, there is little evidence that the majority of Republican voters feel any moral objection to the president.

Even in the order of speakers who warmed up the crowd before the presidents arrival, Mr. Trumps impact was felt. Republican Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina got the early slot, while Donald Trump Jr., his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Diamond and Silk, the slick-talking social media stars and Trump superfans, got the later, more coveted speaking times.

An Aggregation Of Cranks Sitting At Home

In a column published in the Chicago Sun-Times last Friday, Gene Lyons opines that QAnon followers wont take to the streets to save Trump or his political career.

Multiple people running for office have amplified QAnon. Representatives, like , have supported QAnon in the past but attempted to distance themselves from the conspiracy later. Ohio House candidate J.R. Majewski, currently under fire for reportedly lying about the nature of his military service, has also tried to distance himself from previously touted QAnon rhetoric.

However, multiple people who have been charged or convicted in the January 6 riot, which had the explicit intention of securing the election for Donald Trump, have reportedly had connections to QAnon.

Doug Jensen, an Iowa man who chased a Capitol officer up the stairs, told the FBI he wanted to be the poster boyfor the events as they unfolded. He was photographed wearing a Q shirt during the riot.

Additionally, Jacob Chansley, known as the QAnon Shaman was sentenced to more than three years in prison.

There have also been multiple murders connected to QAnon, as recently as last month, when Igor Lanis allegedly shot and killed his wife and dog and wounded one of his daughters before being killed by police. His daughter posted on Reddit and then spoke with multiple media outlets about QAnons influence over her father.

LIVE Stream: Donald Trump Rally in Raleigh, NC 11/7/16

Former President Donald Trump will arrive in North Carolina for a Save America rally on Saturday as he and his alliesincluding his son Donald Trump Jr.face accusations of treason and planning a coup.

Supporters of the former president are converging on Selma to attend the right-wing event at The Farm at 95, which is about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh. While thousands of Trump supporters regularly attend his rallies, the venue for this event can only hold about 400 attendees. The rally, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., will be live-streamed on by Right Side Broadcasting Network as well as through the website Rumble.

On Friday afternoon, CNN first reported that Donald Trump Jr.the former presidents eldest childsent a text message to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows just two days after the November 3, 2020 presidential election, outlining strategies to subvert President Joe Bidens win. At that time, multiple states were still counting ballots and Biden would not be determined as the winner until November 7.

We have operational control Total leverage, the message said. Moral High Ground POTUS must start 2nd term now.

Unemployment In North Carolina

Trump, claiming that North Carolina has had its best economic year in the history of your state, said you have the lowest unemployment rate and your best unemployment numbers.

Facts First: North Carolina does not have either its lowest unemployment rate ever or the lowest unemployment rate in the country.

Its rate in May was 4.1%, 38th of all states. The rate was slightly higher than it was a year prior, 4.0% in May 2018. The rate did drop from 4.2% to 3.7% over the course of 2018.

North Carolinas unemployment rate has been lower than 4.1% as recently as 2000. So this is a 19-year low , not a historic low.

Trump Calls Letitia James A ‘raging Maniac’

In comments that may not have come as a surprise, former President Trump described New York Attorney General Letitia James as a “maniac” who should no longer be in the legal profession.

On Wednesday, James announced a $250 million civil lawsuit against Trump, the Trump Organization and his children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump, alleging that Trump had inflated his net worth and cheated lenders and others with false and misleading financial statements over a period of 20 years.

Trump called the lawsuit “baseless, abusive and depraved.”

“This raging maniac campaigned for office ranting and raving about her goal,” Trump said. “Her only goal is, we got to get Donald Trump. We’re gonna get him. She knew nothing about me. I never heard of her.”

Trump Explains The Jets V Browns Game

In an unusual aside, Trump took time to discuss the New York Jets’ recent victory over the Cleveland Browns. The game took place on Sunday, September 18 with the Jets triumphing 31-30.

“You have any football fans?” Trump asked. “The craziest game I ever saw was the Jet game last week.”

The former president gave his own recap of the game before giving a shoutout to Jets owner Woody Johnson, who was in the crowd.

Crowds Eschew Masks At Trump Rally As President Mocks Biden Over Social Distancing

FULL RALLY: President Trump Rally in Greenville, North Carolina

The president also chose to ridicule the mass protests against racism and policing, saying, We call our rallies peaceful protests

A packed crowd of hundreds gathered in North Carolina for a Donald Trump campaign rally on Tuesday, with many people forgoing masks, in defiance of state guidelines capping gatherings at 50 people.

Ahead of the presidents visit to Winston-Salem, the chair of the local county commission, a Republican, urged Trump to wear a face mask. The state has a mask requirement in place to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Its been ordered by the governor, said Dave Plyler, the Republican chairman of the Forsyth county board of commissioners, according to the Winston-Salem Journal. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in North Carolina, do as the governor says.

Trump is a citizen of the United States, but he is also a guest in our county, Plyler said. Without a mask, he could get sick, and he could blame the governor.

However, Trump did not wear a mask, and used the event to mock his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, for following social distancing guidelines. You ever see the gyms with the circles? he said, an apparent reference to a Biden event held in a school gymnasium with attendees observing social distancing guidelines.

Nearly 178,000 people in North Carolina have tested positive Covid-19, with more than 1,000 cases reported on Tuesday though the number of cases and deaths are slowly trending downward.
