Twitter Suspends Trump Permanently After Inciting Mob

About two hours after his ban, Trump did turn to the official @POTUS account, railing against Twitter, Democrats, and the Radical Left, in a series of tweets that were quickly deleted. A Twitter spokesperson said, As weve said, using another account to try to evade a suspension is against our rules. We have taken steps to enforce this with regard to recent Tweets from the .

In the blog post, Twitter cited Trumps two most recent tweets as an explanation for the permanent suspension.

In the first one, Trump wrote: The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!

What In The Worldcoin

Fact Check: Did Donald Trump tweet about leaving if he ...

Would I have my iris scanned by a scary-looking orb to get free cryptocurrency? Doubtful! But that has not stopped longtime tech investor Sam Altman from attracting 100,000 people so far to his new start-up, Worldcoin. Hes also gotten $25 million from high-profile investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and the well-known entrepreneur Reid Hoffman. In the launch, Altman and his co-founders revealed that the orb would verify your identity, then turn that into a code to make your digital coin ownership more secure and give you more privacy.

How does that work? Its not clear yet, but I like Altman and am officially intrigued, since I am someone who does not scoff at the high price of crypto like others do. Thats because I think it will eventually move from a speculative currency to a real one. And this technology feels like a step in the right direction.

The Silence Of Donald Trump: How Twitters Ban Is Cramping His Style

The ex-president once had a direct line to 88 million followers now hes suing to get back on the platform he made his own

It was just like old times. On Wednesday alone, Donald Trump issued pronouncements on a potential war with China, what Congress should do about the debt ceiling, false claims of a stolen election and his Fox News ally the great Sean Hannity.

    But how many people noticed?

Cast into the social media wilderness, the former US president releases statements by email these days, clogging the inboxes of reporters whose attention has turned elsewhere. The era when a single tweet from Trump could electrify cable news, rattle financial markets and unnerve foreign capitals is long gone.

His post-presidential online engagement is in freefall, the Axios website reported this week, citing data from SocialFlow, an optimization platform that measures clicks from posts referred from its network of publishers.

Clicks to content about Trump dropped 37% in August and September compared with June and July, according to the findings. This represented a 50% decline since March. The decline has been inexorable since the blockbuster event of Trumps impeachment trial in February.

In short the former guy, as Joe Biden calls him, who once brutally colonized social media feeds, is fading fast, a victim of the rapid news cycle he once reigned over.

The attention has been siphoned away by the current administration and whats going on in the country

Well Done Twitter You’ve Finally Figured Out How To Deal With Trump’s Tweets

Twitter has never stood up for the interests of Twitter users over Trump before. That has now changed

Twitter finally got something right. After a torrid week of acrimony, bluster and a president unleashing a flurry of tweets threatening violence and terrifying harassment on a mid-level Twitter employee, on Thursday night that set the model for proper content moderation on its platform.

After Donald Trump called for violence against American citizens something he has done multiple times before at his rallies and on Twitter , making people read the warning before reading it. Once people read the tweet, they could not like it or reply to it, thus slowing its flow through the system and muffling some of the madness.

Twitter ruled that the tweet violated its rules about glorifying violence. This is the first time that Twitter has chosen to enforce its own rules when it came to the companys most famous and eighth-most-followed account .

Protests also broke out in at least nine other American cities, reminding Americans that their law enforcement systems too often consider African Americans disposable and beneath concern for their basic safety and human rights.

Trump, who has consistently sided with violent white supremacists and has overseen anti-immigration policies that would stem ethnic diversity in the United States, issued a stern threat to anti-racist protesters in the covered tweet.

Over nearly twelve years, Trump tweeted around 57,000 times, including about 8,000 times during the 2016 election campaign and over 25,000 times during his presidency. Trump also spread misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic.

In May 2021, Trump launched “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump”, a site where he posted short tweet-like announcements it was shut down after less than a month amidst reports that it had failed to attract significant traffic.
