Its a new gig for James, who was hired as Wharton dean in July 2020. Before that, she was the dean of Emory Universitys business school. Shes the first woman and first person of color to serve as dean since Wharton was founded 139 years ago.
If James were to receive credible information that puts Trumps degree into question like a tip that suggests it was obtained fraudulently it would be her responsibility to review that information and open an investigation.

Trump attended the Wharton School of Business, which is a part of the University of Pennsylvania. He often boasts of attending this prestigious business school and has commonly referred to it as evidence of his intellectual superiority.
