Will Trump Win A Second Term

Will Donald Trump win a second term? | Inside Story

On another issue important to voters, Morris said Trump and the Republicans have a strong hand to play as the law-and-order party and paint Biden and the Democrats as soft on crime during the fall midterms and in 2024.

He said the left wing of the Democratic Partys campaign to defund the police is a gift to Trump and the GOP.

The crime issue is particularly toxic for the Democrats, because it is obvious to voters that it was not nearly as bad a problem before Biden was elected. Back in 2019, and before, crime had fallen out of the headlines and faded in popular consciousness. But after Bidens election, the movement to defund the police, and the vilification of dedicated, responsible, fair, and hardworking police officers has set the crime rate soaring. So who is to blame? Figure it out!, Morris said.

The Left wants to cut the number of uniformed police and replace them with social workers and psychologists to stem violence and escalation. So the next time you worry that a criminal is trying to break into your home, call 911 and wait for a social worker to arrive, he said.

The Lefts goal is not to reduce crime by cutting the number of murders, rapes, and robberies. It is to reduce punishment, incarceration, and harsh sentencing by decriminalizing crime.

He said decriminalization of marijuana makes sense, but Democrats have gone overboard with policies such as eliminating cash bail.

Deploy Federal Force Against Crime Unrest And Protests

During the social justice protests that followed George Floyds murderin 2020, Trump pressured governors to respond more forcefully to demonstrations that were largely peaceful but at times erupted into clashes with police or resulted in property damage. Trump threatened to deploy the military unless state and local officials cracked down harder on the protests.

In recent speeches, Trump has said he showed too much deference to local leaders and wished hed ordered more federal intervention. Trump indicated he wouldnt hesitate in the future.

I was mandated, Wait for the governors, but sometimes I couldnt do that, he said in the Washington speech. The federal government can and should send the National Guard to restore order and secure the peace without having to wait for the approval of some governor that thinks its politically incorrect to call them in.

National Guard troops are under state control, but the president has the them in an emergency. Trump did deploy heavily armed federal law enforcement agents in D.C., where he could exercise more direct authority than in states.

Trump has had support for this idea from allies in the past. Sen. Tom Cotton urged Trump in a controversial op-ed in June 2020 to deploy the active-duty military. But Trumps defense secretary, Mark T. Esper, publicly objected to deploying the military against domestic civil unrest.

Any Ideas Of What Trump Will Do After Biden Is Sworn In

Barbara Res, a longtime Trump associate who recently wrote a book about her experience working with him, speculated the President might leave the country before Mr Bidens inauguration and perhaps pursue his own media empire.

He could put on whatever he wants. He could say whatever he wants. Its almost like having Twitter explode into everything else, she said.

As for the future for Republicans, GOP consultant Mr Steel said the party would likely look to leaders who combine elements of Trumps populist agenda with policies that appeal to a broader swath of the electorate.

The challenge will be identifying the popular, durable, and practical parts of his agenda and marrying them to policies and arguments that appeal to the broader electorate that the party will need to win at the national level in the future, he said.

Many people believe God is using President Trump to save America from falling into the globalist agenda

They believe God is going to use President Trump to turn America towards Him again

America like Ancient Israel is a country that was founded on biblical principles

Our Founding Fathers were all faithful servants of God.

Instead of keeping the power to themselves, they drafted the Constitution to protect this country from falling into dictatorship because they knew that only The Creator can have the absolute power, not the creations

They knew as long as we allow God to rule this country, we will be alright

However, Americans have grown lame in their faith with God over the years.

In the last two to three decades, America has allowed politicians, big media, big corporations to grow unchecked.

Some social media companies have recently decided that they have the power to BAN the President of the United States

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to see who is the one going unchecked here

Gone To The White House Ha Ha Ha

Most Americans Believe Trump Will Win Second Term USA Herald

The late 19th-century political environment resembled todays in many ways: tight polarised elections, strong regional patterns in national voting, relatively high voter turnout and negative campaigning.

Cleveland, a Democrat, had been governor of New York for less than two years when his party nominated him for president in 1884. As governor, he had gained a reputation for fighting Tammany Hall corruption in New York City.

During the 1884 campaign, in which Cleveland ran against Republican James Blaine, a scandal erupted when a New York woman named Maria Halpin accused Cleveland of raping and impregnating her. She was eventually institutionalized and forced to give up her child for adoption. Cleveland disputed some of the details of the story, and his supporters countered jeers of Ma, ma, where is my pa? with chants of Gone to the White House, ha ha ha.

Cleveland ended up winning the national popular vote 48.85% to 48.28% and won 219 electoral votes to Blaines 182. Clevelands base of support was in the South and in his home state of New York, while Blaine did well in the rest of the North. Voter turnout was high, estimated at 77.5% of the voting-age population.

Trump Signals Possible New Abuse Of Power

Trumps latest comment on pardons was in line with his attempt to whitewash the truth of a day when his mob, incited at his Washington rally, invaded the Capitol to try and disrupt the certification of Bidens win, beat up police officers and sent lawmakers running for their lives. Throughout his presidency, he used the chief executives pardon power to shield his political cronies.

If I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly, Trump said on Saturday. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly.

People dragged into the criminal justice system because they tried to stage a coup based on lies about a stolen election are not being treated unfairly. But it is characteristic of Trumps democracy-threatening brand of politics to play up a sense of grievance and victimhood. He spent four years of his twice-impeached presidency sowing a narrative that opponents and subordinates who tried to check him were in fact the ones guilty of abusing power. And he repeatedly sought to force the Justice Department to embrace his anti-constitutional schemes.

Would Trumps Support Change If He Were Charged With A Crime

The former president faces a handful of investigations, including from the Department of Justice and the U.S. House select committee on the origins of the Jan. 6 attack, a grand jury looking into potential election interference in Georgia and, most recently, an FBI probe into classified materials removed from the White House and kept at Trumps Florida estate. Some had been recovered or returned earlier this year. But when the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago last month, agents still found more than 100 classified documents and 43 empty folders with classified markings, among thousands of other official records, according to a Department of Justice list of items.

Support for Trumps candidacy in 2024 would not change much if any of these investigations result in Trump being charged with a crime, according to this poll. Sixty-five percent of Americans would oppose another run for the White House. More than six in 10 Republicans would still want to see him launch a campaign. Meanwhile, 73 percent of independents say he should not run again if he is charged.

This poll is just a snapshot of the current political environment. With two months until the midterm elections and another two years until the 2024 presidential election, a lot can still change with the Republican primary field and the investigations.

Is This Related In Any Way To The Lawsuits Trump Is Filing

Trump admits he won’t serve a second term day after inciting mob

Trumps campaign has filed a slew of legally dubious suits since election day. The purpose of these suits appears not to be to actually overturn the election results, but to try to create uncertainty and draw out the counting process.

Each state has its own deadlines for certifying election results that are then used to allocate its electoral college votes. In at least two states, Pennsylvania and Michigan, Trumps campaign is seeking to block officials from certifying results.

That certification timeline is important because federal law says that as long as election results are finalized by 8 December this year, the result is conclusive. That provides a safeguard against Congress, which is responsible for counting the electoral college votes, from second-guessing election results. By dragging out the process, the Trump campaign may be seeking to blow past that deadline and create more wiggle room to second-guess the results.

Even if that is the Trump campaigns hope, courts are unlikely to step in, Pildes said.

States are going to start certifying their vote totals beginning in less than 10 days, and there is no basis in the claims made thus far for the courts to stop that process, he said.

Trump Blasts Jan 6 Witness Cassidy Hutchinsons Bs Committee Claim

The controversial image maker whose own baggage includes resigning from Bill Clintons re-election campaign in 1996 amid a prostitution scandal called Trump one of Americas great presidents with immense achievements.

But the greater tribute is how he defied almost every establishment in the country to achieve what America needed, and our people demanded, writes Morris.

He said voters like Trumps more popular tax, energy and immigration policies better than those of Biden and the Democrats, while crediting the ex-president with bringing more Hispanic voters into the GOP fold.

He defied the economic establishment by getting Congress to pass a massive tax cut, skillfully crafted to aim at the middle class, the working poor, and small businesses. The establishment said cut taxes on the wealthy, and it will trickle down to the rest of society. But Trump knew that trickle-down doesnt always happen. So he made sure his tax cuts were the first in recent history to target the lower middle class the working class. Trump signed a law giving a tax credit of $2,000 per child, Morris writes.

Meanwhile, Biden and other Democrats will have to defend four years of record inflation, surging crime and increased illegal immigration at the southern border.

Proving that Trump would do better? That one is easy. We know that Trump would do better, because when he was president, he did do better, Morris said.

He said America was energy independent when Trump left office.

Trump Will Lash Out At The People Who Investigated His Corruption

Democratic strategist Max Burns pointed out that Trump will have a few scores to settle after this election and that he loves nothing more than doing so.

Burns anticipates hearings even more ridiculous than the select committee hearing on the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, during which Hillary Clinton was forced to defend her handling of national security as secretary of state. This primarily involved answering questions about the murder of US ambassador Chris Stevens in Libya three years earlier, but also touched on the email scandal Trump repeatedly used as a line of attack when running against Clinton. Burns told indy100:

A second Trump term offers the president the chance to settle scores with Democrats who investigated his first-term corruption and we all know the president enjoys nothing so much as settling scores. We’ll likely see a parade of show-hearings led by Senate Republicans that will make the laughable Benghazi “hearing” seem absolutely statesmanlike by comparison.

Expect to be hearing a lot more about the “crimes” of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in a second term.

They told their followers that God had told them that Trump would win. Trump lost. What else is left to say?

Kris Vallotton prophesied to all who would listen that God had told him Donald Trump would win re-election. As a senior associate minister at Californias 11,000-member Bethel Church, a swarm of eager believers received the pastors prophecy as Gods unshakeable will.

This is not about politics. Im so sorry if it feels that way. I know how it could. Everybody in the front row knows me. Its not about politics. If the Lord gave me this word about President Obama I would stand here and give it and I have done so before. This decree, the Lord is gonna step in sovereignly. Hes gonna bring it to a close. And its gonna be ugly but its gonna be the Lord, Vallotton said in November of 2019, as Trump faced his impeachment trial. And I believe the Lords gonna give him another term. I believe it because the Lord wants it. Cause the Lord wants it, he went on, explaining that I am commissioned by God to do this today. I had three dreams in one night.

In the Bible, theres a simple one-strike-and-youre-out test for sorting out the counterfeits: You may say to yourselves, How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord? If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.

Yet the world is still spinning. And Robertson is still broadcasting.

Trumps Second Term Will Be Nothing Like His First

You All Think This Is A Game?, Says Terrence K. Williams. Democrats ...

If hes reelected, the president appears poised to dismiss an array of senior appointees, replacing them with loyalists.

When a president is running for a second term, elections tend to look like a contest between change and more of the same .

But 2020 doesnt fit the mold. As aberrant as Donald Trumps first term in office has been, a second term might be a more radical departure from the past four years than even a comparative return to normalcy under Joe Biden would be. In other words, this is a change election either waythe question is what kind of change.

Some Trump supporters have dismissed the concerns of his critics as so much Chicken Little-ing: The sky hasnt fallen yet, has it? This is a foolish response, not only because so much of the sky has fallen, but also because there are indications of how fast the rest will fall if Trump is reelected. The president, freed from ever having to face voters again, would feel no need to moderate any of his many unpopular stances and impulses.

If you dont believe me, look at his plans for other appointees. Also yesterday, the FBI announced that it was investigating an incident in which ruffians in trucks, bedecked with Trump flags, tried to run a Biden-Harris bus off the road in Texas. Trump immediately smacked down the bureau in a tweet.

Trump Fires Off Racist Attack On New York Prosecutors

The ex-Presidents speech was also notable for an extraordinary assault on prosecutors in New York who are investigating allegations of fraud at his business empire. The ex-President called for the biggest protests we have ever had if the prosecutors do anything wrong or illegal. New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. are both leading investigations into Trumps business empire. And both are Black, a point that Trump hinted at in his complaints about his treatment.

These prosecutors are vicious, horrible people. Theyre racists and theyre very sick theyre mentally sick, he said. Theyre going after me without any protection of my rights from the Supreme Court or most other courts. In reality, theyre not after me, theyre after you, he told his crowd.
