‘an Inspiring Presence’: Joe Biden Elton John And More React To Queen Elizabeth Ii’s Death
It doesnt appear like the fundraising push is slowing down any time soon, either. Since Jan. 1 of this year, the Trump groups have sent 14 emails per day, according to the Defending Democracy Together Institute. The frequency has risen steadily since last July, when Trumps PACs were only sending around three emails per day.
Trumps allies have defended the former presidents fundraising practices. No one in the history of the Republican Party has done more to grow the donor pool at every level than President Donald J. Trump, something that pays untold dividends to Republican candidates and causes across the nation, Taylor Budowich, a spokesperson for Trump, told Axios.
Brad Parscale, who ran Trumps digital operation in 2016 before serving as one of his 2020 campaign managers, weighed in on Thursday. So youre saying: Why dont you cut back your fundraising and let us act like we are Trump so we can have some of his donations. We cant figure out how to do it with our boring candidates, so let us fake being your popular candidate. Yeah, sure,’ he tweeted.
Regardless of the GOPs unease with Trumps fundraising apparatus, the Republican National Committee was still able to out-raise its Democratic counterpart in 2021, $159 million to $151 million. House Republicans recently overtook Democrats, too.

Email To Giuliani Reveals Plan To Keep Trump In Office On Jan 6 Court Records Show
Updated with a statement from Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office.
Washington In the weeks leading up to the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, an attorney with ties to the Trump campaign was circulating a memo with plans to block the certification of the Electoral College votes during the joint session of Congress, court records reveal.
Attorney Kenneth Chesebro sent an email to former New York Mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Dec. 13, 2020, with detailed plans that would put then-Vice President Mike Pence and Senate president pro tempore Chuck Grassley, Republican of Iowa, in central roles in the Congress’ joint session. The email’s subject line read, “Brief notes on ‘President of the Senate’ strategy.”
According to the email revealed via a recent court filing by the House Jan. 6 Committee in its legal fight against Trump attorney John Eastman Chesebro wanted Pence to recuse himself from his constitutional position as president of the Senate and the presiding officer over the joint session and claim a “conflict of interest” by way of being a candidate on the ballots in question.
Pence ultimately did preside over the final certification of the Electoral College votes and resisted pressure from Trump and his allies to block Joe Biden’s victory.
Once recused, the email continued, Grassley or another senior Republican majority member would become the presiding officer of the joint session and begin the election certification.

Donald Trump Suggests He Might Be Reinstated Due To Tremendous Voter Fraud
Former President Donald Trump has suggested he could be inexplicably reinstated as president due to tremendous voter fraud.
In remarks to conservative media network Real Americas Voice, Trump seemingly indicated that baseless conspiracy theories that claim he will quickly regain the presidency if it were a possibility. Host Gina Loudon, who has also served as co-chair of the group Women for Trump, asked the former president when the country would get President Trump back at his rally in Perry, Georgia on Saturday.
Well were going to see, Trump replied. Theres been tremendous voter fraud. And its being revealed on a daily basis and well see what happens.
Newsweek reached out to the office of Trump for comment.
No credible evidence of substantial voter fraud has been uncovered in the more than 10 months since Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to President Joe Biden, while the election results have long since been certified and finalized. Trump has continued to fight the outcome despite there being no legal pathway for him to be declared the winner or return to office without winning another election.
I think youre going to be incredibly impressed by whats happening and I think maybe by the next election, said Trump, who has repeatedly hinted that he will be a 2024 candidate without making a firm commitment to run.
Ivanka Trumps Email Address
Ivanka Trumps personal email address is unknown.
Email Ivanka Trumps agent, manager, & publicist using our online database.
Ivanka wasnt playing by the rules, but she never, ever got in trouble. On January 24, Suzie Mills, Ivankas assistant at the Trump Organization, sent an email to her entire mailing list that said, Hi Everyone, Hope you all are well. On behalf of Ivanka Trump, I will like to share her new email address. Effective immediately Ivanka will no longer be using her Trump Organization email address. The new email used a family domain. Not a government one. Can you say private server? Ivanka was asking her work contacts at The White House to write to her at her private email the exact offense the Trumps had lambasted Hillary Clinton for during the general election. Would anyone chant Lock her up! about Ivankas private server? Doubtful. The email thing was hypocritical, to say the least. But the Trumps made their own rules.

Trump Sends A Message To Senate Republicans Ahead Of His Trial
The ex-president could seek vengeance on GOP senators if they break with him on impeachment and vote to convict.

A top political aide to former President Donald Trump spent the weekend quietly reassuring Republican senators that the former president has no plans to start a third party and instead will keep his imprint on the GOP.
The message from Brian Jack, Trumps former political director at the White House, is the latest sign that Republicans considering an impeachment conviction will do so knowing that Trump may come after them in upcoming primaries if they vote to convict him for incitement of insurrection.
Jack did not mention impeachment in his calls. But he wanted the word to get around that Trump is still a Republican and for many, still the leader of his party.
The president wanted me to know, as well as a handful of others, that the president is a Republican, he is not starting a third party and that anything he would do politically in the future would be as a Republican, recounted Sen. Kevin Cramer . The Republican Party is still overwhelmingly supportive of this president.

Trump Mobilizing More Democrats Than Republicans
Gallup included a new question in this poll to gauge how much of a factor Trump is in mobilizing voters this year. Among registered voters, 36% say they are more likely to vote in the midterm elections because of their feelings about Trump, while 63% say their feelings about the president make no difference in whether they vote. While Trumps impact on mobilizing voters may seem somewhat low given his effect on voters candidate choice in the question above, these questions are measuring two distinct things intention to vote and vote choice. Whereas voters may be more motivated to cast their ballot for a specific candidate because of their feelings about Trump, they may have intended to vote regardless of who occupies the White House.
Democratic voters are more likely than Republican voters to say they will cast a ballot because of their feelings about Trump 44% to 29%, respectively. Republican voters skew older and are generally more likely to vote than Democratic voters, regardless of who is president. Yet, a majority of each partys voters still say Trump will not make a difference in whether they vote this year.
Trump Doubles Down On Calls To Donate Directly To Him
Former President Trump doubled down on his calls for Republicans to donate to his leadership PAC rather than the GOP amid a growing feud over the partys use of his name and likeness in its fundraising.
In a statement put out by Save America, Trumps PAC, the former president berated RINOs and fools while maintaining he supports the Republican Party. Its the latest escalation in the fundraising dispute that began over the weekend.
I fully support the Republican Party and important GOP Committees, but I do not support RINOs and fools, and it is not their right to use my likeness or image to raise funds, Trump said, using the acronym for Republicans in name only.
So much money is being raised and completely wasted by people that do not have the GOPs best interests in mind. If you donate to our Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com, you are helping the America First movement and doing it right. We will WIN, and we will WIN BIG! Our Country is being destroyed by the Democrats! he added.
The statement was the latest indication that Trump has no intention of appeasing the Republican National Committee after it brushed off a cease-and-desist letter from his lawyers demanding it stop referencing Trump in its fundraising and merchandising.
However, Trump in part made his personal fortune off of leasing his name and has been protective in his public and private lives of how other individuals and bodies used his name to benefit other candidates.

Trump Faces Questions In A Lawsuit
A lawyer for the plaintiff, Benjamin Dictor, stated that Trump was questioned on various topics that included his comments made at the campaign rallies, where they allege he had seemingly encouraged security personnel to treat protesters harshly, as per AP report. The lawsuit filed by five persons of Mexican origin living in New York have alleged that Trumps bodyguards assaulted them in Manhattan on 3 September, 2015. The people were, as per the AP report, protesting comments that Trump made about Mexico and Mexican immigrants.
According to AP, Benjamin Dictor, the plaintiffs lawyer, mentioned that Trump behaviour in response to the questions matched his public image. Without divulging details into how Trump handled the questioning, he revealed that the former presidents session proceeded like other depositions.
Dictor declined to comment on the substance of Trumps testimony and added that questioning of former President proved that no one is above the law.
Benjamin Dictor said, While we will not comment on the substance of Mr. Trumps testimony at this time, we hope todays events serve as an example that our institutions have prevailed and no one is above the law, as per AP.

The Publication Of The Letter Citing Baseless And Debunked Claims Was Criticized For Pushing The Traditional Boundaries Of A Letters
Twitter may be maintaining its ban on Donald Trump, but the former president is finding other ways to get his message out.
The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday published a lengthy letter to the editor from Trump charging, inaccurately, that the 2020 presidential election won by Joe Biden was rigged.
The nearly 600-word letter is replete with loosely sourced and largely debunked claims of fraud in Pennsylvania, a state that President Biden won by 81,660 votes, handing him 20 electoral college votes that helped secure his victory.
Trump took issue with an Oct. 24 piece from the Journals reliably conservative editorial board, which argued that the statewide margin between Trump and Biden was too vast for a debate over the status of approximately 10,000 mail-in ballots that arrived after the Election Day deadline to be germane to the outcome. The country is lucky the election wasnt closer, the board wrote. If the election had hung on a few thousand Pennsylvanians, the outcome might have been picked by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Well actually, the election was rigged, which you, unfortunately, still havent figured out, Trump retorted baselessly in his letter, before listing a few examples of how determinative the voter fraud in Pennsylvania was. Trump cited talking points from Audit the Vote PA, a little-known organization that has promoted unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, which he described as highly respected.

Conservative podcaster Steve Bannon let out a laugh on Wednesday when a guest mentioned his pending arrest in New York.
According to The New York Times, Bannon is expected to surrender to authorities on Thursday “to face state charges in an indictment that remains sealed.”
During an interview on Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic podcast, Kirk took a moment to express support for Donald Trump’s former adviser.
“Before we go any further, I meant to say this in the first part and I don’t want to go too deep into this but we stand with you, Steve,” Kirk said. “It’s ridiculous what the state of New York is doing to you. It’s awful and it’s grotesque.”
Bannon let out a laugh as Kirk spoke.
“No, seriously,” Kirk advised. “The targeting and we’re going talk about it in our program next hour.”
“Thank you, brother,” Bannon replied.

Advisors to Donald Trump who were involved in the former presidents scheme to overturn the 2020 election appeared to recognise that their plan was legally dubious, according to emails revealed by The New York Times.
The Times said it had reviewed and authenticated dozens of emails that show a frantic effort by aides to Mr Trump and a coterie of lawyers and supporters outside of the White House to send fake electors to the Electoral College certification of the 2020 election.
The emails frequently refer to fake electors, and those involved seemed aware that their efforts had no legal standing, the Times reported.
We would just be sending in fake electoral votes to Pence so that someone in Congress can make an objection when they start counting votes, wrote Jack Wilenchik, a lawyer who helped organise pro-Trump electors in Arizona, in an email sent on 8 December, 2020, according to theTimes. The email was sent to Boris Epshteyn, a strategic adviser for the Trump campaign.
He added in a later email that alternative votes is probably a better term than fake votes.
