Classified documents are divided into three separate categories based on the sensitivity of the information:

  • Trump Lawyer Says She’s Told Him All Investgations ‘will Stop’ If He Announces He’s Not Running For Office In 2024

A lawyer for Donald Trump said all investigations into the former president would stop if he were to announce he won’t run for president in 2024.

“If he’s not leading in the polls I’ve sat across from him, every time he gets frustrated, I say to him: ‘Mr. President, if you would like me to resolve all your litigation, you should announce that you are not running for office, and all of this will stop,'” Trump attorney Alina Habba said on Real America’s Voice on Friday. “That’s what they want.”

She added that Trump was “honestly not surprised” after the Department of Justice executed an FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, seeking classified documents taken from the White House.

“I hope he runs,” Habba said. “I told him this is going to actually increase your support in your base because they just always take it a little too far. The Democratic party, they can’t get out of their own way sometimes.”

The Doj Is Investigating If Trump Broke 3 Federal Laws When He Took Classified Documents To Mar

The Justice Department is investigating if former President Donald Trump violated three federal laws involving the handling of national security information when he moved government records from the White House to Mar-a-Lago upon leaving office.

Breitbart reportedly obtained the warrant the FBI used to search Trumps Mar-a-Lago residence in south Florida.

Feds are looking into whether Trump broke laws against gathering, transmitting, or losing defense information the destruction, alteration, or falsification of records and the concealment, removal, or mutilation of records.

One of those violations is a part of the Espionage Act.

COP26 has been extended due to a deadlock between countries over fossil fuel emission targets, with the US refusing to budge to help poorer countries fight climate change. President Joe Biden has attempted to sell himself as something of a climate change champion off the back of former President Donald Trump, who famously called climate change a hoax. But his actions at COP26 have shown the limited scope in which the US is willing to help poorer countries meet international climate goals.

Trumpworld Is Said To Be Roiling With Finger

People close to President Donald Trump are consumed with suspicion and finger-pointing over the possibility of there being an informant in Mar-a-Lago, per Rolling Stone.

One of Rolling Stone’s sources an unnamed Trump advisor said that some close to Trump have been asking for warnings to be passed on to the former president not to trust some of those around him.

The messages, per the source, encouraged Trump to question specific people to see if they were in touch with the FBI.

“I’m getting a lot of messages saying, ‘This guy must be the informant,’ and others calling for the president to start doing phone checks of his staff,” the advisor told Rolling Stone.

“To be honest, a lot of it feels like people trying to screw over the ones they don’t like.”

    What’s In Trump’s Search Warrant A Grab

The feds knew they had only one chance to search Mar-a-Lago so they carried a big net, Gene Rossi, for three decades a federal prosecutor out of northern Virginia, predicted.

The search warrant that got them inside the waterfront Palm Beach estate of former President Donald Trump may have only been one-page long but the warrant would have authorized FBI agents to seize evidence related to multiple federal statutes, Rossi said.

“I would be shocked,” Rossi told Insider if the search warrant did not list the federal statutes for insurrection, for sedition, and for obstruction three charges Trump could potentially face for alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021 siege on the Capitol.

Trump and his allies slammed the FBI and said the raid is the latest phase of a long-running witch hunt that dates back to the bureaus investigation into whether he colluded with Russias government during the 2016 campaign.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, whose 2016 Supreme Court nomination was nixed by Trump after his upset election win, said last week that he personally signed off on pursuing the search.

Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray otherwise have said little publicly to defend the raid.

Its unclear what exactly prompted the unusual FBI operation, which reportedly followed months of talks between Trump reps and the government about the whereabouts and possible return of certain records.

A Washington Post report suggested that the raid may have been spurred by concern about nuclear-related documents, but Trump denied it Friday, saying in a statement: Nuclear weapons is a hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a hoax.

After the search warrant and inventory were unsealed Friday, Trump claimed that the documents in question had already been declassified and that the FBI search was unnecessary.

They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago, he wrote on Truth Social. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request. They could have had it anytime they wantedand that includes LONG ago. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS ASK.

In June 2016, USA Today published an analysis of litigation involving Donald Trump, which found that over the previous three decades Trump and his businesses had been involved in 3,500 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts, an unprecedented number for a U.S. presidential candidate. Of the 3,500 suits, Trump or one of his companies were plaintiffs in 1,900 defendants in 1,450 and bankruptcy, third party, or other in 150. Trump was named in at least 169 suits in federal court. Over 150 other cases were in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida since 1983. In the 1,300 cases where the record establishes the outcome, Trump settled 175 times, lost 38, won 450, and had another 137 cases end with some other outcome. In the other 500 cases, judges dismissed plaintiffs’ claims against Trump.

Trump’s legal issues have continued since the publication of the 2016 USA Today article and his election as President of the United States. Between October 2021 and July 2022 alone, the Republican National Committee paid more than $2 million to attorneys representing Trump in his capacity as President and in his personal and business capacities.

Lawsuit For Inciting Violence At March 2016 Campaign Rally

During a campaign rally on March 1, 2016, in Louisville, Kentucky, Trump repeatedly said get em out of here while pointing at anti-Trump protesters as they were forcibly escorted out by his supporters. Three protesters say they were repeatedly shoved and punched while Trump pointed at them from the podium, citing widely shared video evidence of the events. They also cited previous statements by Trump about paying the legal bills of supporters who got violent, or suggesting a demonstrator deserved to be roughed up.

The lawsuit accuses Donald Trump of inciting violence against protesters in Louisville, Kentucky. The plaintiffs are Kashiya Nwanguma , Molly Shah and Henry Brousseau . The suit is against Trump, his campaign, and three Trump supporters . Bamberger, who was wearing a Veterans uniform in the video, apologized to the Korean War Veterans Association immediately after the event, writing that he physically pushed a young woman down the aisle toward the exit after Trump kept saying get them out, get them out.

Trumps attorneys requested to get the case dismissed, arguing he was protected by free speech laws, and wasnt trying to get his supporters to resort to violence. They also stated that Trump had no duty to the protesters, and they had assumed the personal risk of injury by deciding to protest at the rally.

Trump Inquired If China Could Make Hurricanes To Harm Us Ex

Donald Trumpâs Valet Tests Positive For COVID

Former president also wanted to know if it would constitute an act of war and if hurricanes could be nuked to stop them

As president, Donald Trump repeatedly asked aides if China could be manufacturing hurricanes and sending them to damage the United States, three unnamed former senior officials told Rolling Stone on Tuesday.

Trump also reportedly wanted to know if using such a hurricane gun would constitute an act of war, and if so, whether the US could retaliate militarily.

China is a major nuclear power.

It was almost too stupid for words, one source told the magazine, which said the speaker was intimately familiar with the then sitting presidents inquiry.

I did not get the sense he was joking at all, the source added.

The news comes on the tail of former defense secretary Mark Espers claim, in a new book, that Trump wanted to hit drug labs in Mexico with missiles and then deny responsibility, and other hair-raising accounts of near foreign policy disaster.

Rolling Stone quoted a second former official as saying: I was present when he asked if China made hurricanes to send to us. wanted to know if the technology existed. One guy in the room responded, Not to the best of my knowledge, sir.

I kept it together until I got back to my office I do not know where the president would have heard about that He was asking about it around the time, maybe a little before, he asked people about nuking hurricanes.

A Key Difference Between The Two

Bradley Moss, a Washington-based lawyer who works on national security cases, said the cases of Clinton and Trump are significantly different.

Trump took properly marked hard copy classified documents from the White House, shipped them to Florida, and stored them in an unsecured location at his residence, Moss said.

The presence of classified information in Clintons emails was less obvious.

The e-mails were never marked as classified because these were communications from unclassified government accounts, Moss said.

In three instances, email chains included information with classification markers. It was never clear that Clinton was aware of the presence of that marked information, or if the classification marking was clear.

When classified information was clearly involved, Blanton said Clintons briefings were on a different system, a classified Blackberry that was managed by State Department IT people.

Clintons emails included moments when staffers wrote that for them to go into more detail, they would need to switch to a secure classified State Department system.

Moss cautioned that while some documents at Mar-a-Lago were clearly marked as classified, many questions remain, such as where the records were originally located, who boxed them up, when Trump became aware of the existence of the records at Mar-a-Lago, and what, if any, efforts Trump took to rectify the situation once he was informed.

Mitch Mcconnell Declined To Comment On The Fbi Raid At Mar

With former President Donald Trump fuming over an FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence, the American people have yet to receive comment from the most powerful elected Republican in Washington: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

McConnell has yet to issue a statement on Mondays raid, and he dodged a question about it at a Tuesday press conference related to flooding in Eastern Kentucky.

Im here today to talk about the flood and the recovery from the flood, he said when asked for his reaction to the raid.

Rudy Giuliani Says Trump Will Raid Every One Of Bidens Houses If The Former President Wins The 2024 Presidential Election

Rudy Giuliani earlier this week said former President Donald Trump would raid President Joe Bidens homes if he were to win the White House in 2024, with the ex-personal lawyer to the former president arguing that the FBIs search of Trumps Mar-a-Lago club was a political act.

Giuliani, a former New York city mayor and longtime Trump loyalist, told The New York Post that Trump could use the FBI to retaliate against Biden if he were to head back to the Oval Office.

Breaking into the home of a former president is a political act particularly since youre breaking precedent. All of a sudden, youre the first president of the United States who introduced the banana-republic process of prosecuting your predecessor. Weve avoided it for 240 years. Trump didnt do it to Hillary. Ford didnt do it, he told the newspaper.

If Trump gets elected, the first thing hell do is raid every one of Bidens houses, he added.
