How To Get A Letter To President Trump

How To Send A Message To The President Online

Letter to President Trump

Contacting the Leader of the Free World is no small feat. Sending a message to the President of the United States , though, might not be a surefire way of contacting him. As youd imagine, hes one of the busiest people on the planet. For that reason, its unlikely that POTUS will receive your message let alone reply to it.

That being said, there are some things you can cover to increase the chances of receiving a reply.

Cheney Addresses Americans Deceived By Trump

Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, the GOP vice chair of the committee investigating Jan. 6., ended the panels fifth hearing with a message for the millions of Americans who put their trust in former President Donald Trump.

Cheney said more than a dozen Republicans have contradicted Trumps version of events, testifying about what actually happened in the weeks before Jan. 6.

Some of the witnesses, including those who will testify at future hearings, worked for Trump on his campaign or in his administration. Others, she said, have been conservative Republicans for their entire careers.

It can be difficult to accept that President Trump abused your trust, that he deceived you, Cheney said. Many will invent excuses to ignore that fact. But that is a fact. I wish it werent true. But it is.

Rosen: Trump Claims Of Election Fraud Debunked

Jeffrey Rosen served as acting attorney general for the final month of the Trump administration, after former Attorney General Bill Barr resigned in part over presidents spurious claims of fraud.

Rosen told the committee Trump would ask about election fraud allegations hed seen on television or heard from people in Georgia or Pennsylvania that had already been debunked.

We were in a position to say people already looked at that and we know youre getting bad information. Thats not correct. Its been demonstrated to be not correct, Rosen said. In our point of view, it was debunked.

Meadows Pressured Rosen To Meet With Italian Conspiracy Theorist

In consecutive phone calls, then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows pressured former Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen to meet with Brad Johnson, a conspiracy theorist from Italy about a video alleging that satellites in that country had changed votes.

I told him this whole thing about Italy had been debunked and that should be the end of that, and I certainly wasnt going to meet with this person, Rosen said. He also told Meadows, If he has real evidence, which this video doesnt show, he can walk into an FBI field office in the United States. Theres 55 of them.

A few minutes later, Rosen said Meadows called back to complain and said: I didnt tell you but this fellow Johnson is working with Rudy Giuliani, and Mr. Giuliani is really offended that you think they have to go to an FBI field office. Thats insulting. So couldnt you just have the FBI or you meet with these guys?

Trump Told Congressional Cronies How To Get Pardons For Aiding His Bogus Election Scheme Gop Rep Says

Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks has shared an email of former President Donald Trumps alleged instructions for Senate and House Republicans seeking preemptive pardons for their roles in helping Trump overturn the 2020 presidential election.

The January 11, 2021 email which Brooks addressed to then-Special Assistant to the President and Oval Office Operations Coordinator Molly Michael begins with the line, President Trump asked me to send you this letter.

It is clear that deep-pocketed and vitriolic Socialist Democrats are going to abuse Americas judicial system by targeting numerous Republicans with sham charges deriving from our recent fight for honest and accurate elections, and speeches related thereto, the email continues.

Brooks then suggested that pardons be granted to any Republican who signed onto Texas lawsuit asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reject the outcome of the election, as well as any Congress members who rejected the Electoral College vote submissions of Arizona and Pennsylvania.

\u201cRep. Mo Brooks just texted this document to @CBSNews\u201d Robert Costa 1656022959

The email shows that Trump and Republicans had anticipated legal consequences for trying to overthrow the election. However, Trump never issued any such pardons because no Republicans were charged for their support of his bogus election conspiracy theory.

Needless to say, the committee will likely continue its work without Brooks.

Texts Come Hours Apart With No Clear Explanation For How The Money Will Be Spent

Find your bookmarks in your Independent Premium section, under my profile

Former President Donald Trump is out of office, and has not announced any plans to run in the future, but that hasnt stopped his political action committee from bombarding his fans with daily requests for money and other support.

Months of text messages reviewed by The Independent reveal that supporters of the former president received at least one text message per day throughout the month of May, with some texts coming mere hours apart ahead of fundraising deadlines.

The donation links route money to the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, a joint fundraising committee that splits funds between the Republican National Committee , Mr Trumps 2020 campaign for president, as well as the Save America PAC, an organisation founded by Mr Trump to fund his future political efforts.

The frequency of the calls for donations rivals that of most active political campaigns, and suggests that Mr Trump is keen on maintaining a massive war chest throughout his post-presidency that means his endorsement carries huge financial weight in any local race.

Some texts sent to supporters via the automated service are designed to appear as if they were personally written by the former president, while others are signed by Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr, and former first lady Melania Trump.

The Independent has reached out to the office of Mr Trump for comment.

Letter: Trump Had Nothing To Do With The Capitol Riot

Obama’s handwritten letter to President Trump revealed

Democrats, and a few Republicans, are making issues against President Donald Trump stating cheating occurring in the elections. This is nothing new. Al Gore finally stopped pursuing the George Bush Jr. presidency while Hillary Clinton for four years made a fool of herself.

President Trump had nothing to do with the Capitol riot. I watched and listened to the events in front of the White House before President Trump over an hour late speech. The riot started before, not after, his speech. Capitol guards seen on camera allowed rioters into the building.

Having knowledge of a possible Capitol riot, why would Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Washington, D.C., official stop President Trump from sending in the National Guard. Where was President Trump? In the White House basement with Secret Service personnel.

Illinois lady on C-SPAN stated: “I am and have been proud to call Donald Trump president.” President Trump loves our country. Wanted to make America great again. What are Biden’s previous and present plans?

What Has Been Covered In The Hearings So Far

The committees first hearing provided an in-depth look at the methodical effort led by Mr. Trump and some of his top advisers and allies to thwart the peaceful transfer of power and keep the White House. The hearing homed in on the events of Jan. 6 itself, when supporters of Mr. Trump stormed the Capitol in what Mr. Thompson described as the culmination of an attempted coup.

The second hearing, on June 13, added more background on Mr. Trumps mind-set in the weeks before the riot. The committee showed clips from interviews with former officials and White House advisers, who testified that Mr. Trump had repeatedly been told in no uncertain terms that he had lost the election.

The third hearing, on June 16, showed how Mr. Trumps pressure campaign on Mr. Pence aided by a little-known conservative lawyer, John Eastman led Mr. Trumps supporters to storm the Capitol.

The fourth hearing, on Tuesday, focused on Mr. Trumps pressure campaign on state-level officials. The panel heard from Republican officials from Arizona and Georgia, who described efforts to push them to overturn the election results in their states, both of which Joseph R. Biden Jr. won.

What Will Happen When The Hearings End

The committee plans to release its final report in September, before the midterm elections.

    Correction:

An earlier version of this article mischaracterized Chris Stirewalts role in Fox News projecting Arizona for Joseph R. Biden Jr. in the 2020 election. Mr. Stirewalt was part of the team that made the decision, though he did not make the call himself.

    Correction:

An earlier version of this article misstated the day of the first hearing of the House committee examining the Jan. 6 riot. It was Thursday, not Friday.

And This Is Popular With Political Campaigns

Yes. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders was the first to effectively employ this system with Hustle, which employed people to send personal text messages to prospective voters. Youve likely seen an increase in volume of text messages from local campaigns during an election or primary.

It turns out, youre more likely to respond to a text message than you are a phone call or email, which often are littered with spam or robocalls.

Millions Of Children May Miss Pandemic Food Aid As States Scramble To Meet Trump Administration Mandate

Politics has played zero role in the Farmers to Families food box program, the Agriculture Department said in an emailed statement. It is purely about helping farmers and distributors get food to Americans in need during this unprecedented time.

The administration slowly started including letters from the president in USDAs food boxes over the past few months. But last week the USDA began requiring the letters to be added to all boxes distributed by companies with government contracts, according to six people familiar with the program.

Fox Newsfirst reported in July that letters would be included in some boxes over the summer and credited Ivanka Trump with the idea. In response, Democratic lawmakers sent a letter to Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue complaining that the effort could be a violation of the Hatch Act, the federal law preventing executive branch employees from engaging in political activity. They asked the department to end the practice immediately.

The USDA responded by saying the letters dont violate the Hatch Act and moved ahead anyway. This week, the White House posted acampaign-style video on Twitter touting the food boxes with remarks Trump made in North Carolina in August before a crowd of a few hundred people.

Its almost like an escalation, Rep. Marcia Fudge, an Ohio Democrat who led the letter to Perdue, said in an interview. Before they were optional. Now they are demanding that they go in every box.

Aia Issues Letter To President Trump Opposing Proposed Executive Order

WASHINGTON The American Institute of Architects 2020President Jane Frederick, FAIA, and EVP/Chief Executive Officer RobertIvy, FAIA, issued the following letter today to the President of the UnitedStates opposing an executive order mandating uniform designs for federalarchitecture.

The American Institute of Architects is writing this letter to expressits strong and unequivocal opposition to the draft executive order circulating withinyour Administration to mandate a federal style of architecture. The order, asit now stands, would dictate a specific architectural style for federal courthouses and certain other federal buildings, to be mandated by bureaucrats inWashington, D.C.

The AIA, and its95,000 members, works to advance our nations quality of life and protect thepublics health, safety and welfare through design, as it has done for 160years. We always work with the communities to assess the most appropriatearchitecture for projects within those communities. A onesize-fits-all mandatesimply ignores needed input from impacted parties.

We appreciatedmeeting with your staff on January 15, 2020 to discuss someof our concerns and issues impacting the design community. At thattime, it was our understanding that this draft executive order was not movingforward. We were shocked and disappointed to hear that it is still incirculation.

AIA issued a memo to its 95,000 members on Tuesday, Feb. 4encouraging its members to contact President Trump opposing the directive.
