How Can I Support Trump

He Wants To Secure Our Borders

We asked a bunch of President Trump’s supporters the same 2 questions

He’s not looking to simply keep immigrants out. He is looking to make a stronger and more secure country. Letting in only legal immigrants, keeps in check who is entering our country. This is not just for our sake, but also for those looking for a new life here.

If we get even a few bad people entering our country, that does not just affect us, but the good people who have come to our country as well. If they now live here, our problems become their problems.

Those problems can be much more fixable if we have control over the source of the problems. He wants immigrants to come in our country in the largest numbers so long as they come in legally. Is that too much to ask?

Tolerance for illegal immigration is not compassionate, but in fact cruel. By allowing illegal immigration and keeping open borders, one in three women is sexually assaulted on their journey north. Smugglers use children as exploits and use them to gain access to our country.

Human traffickers and sex traffickers are taking advantage of the open borders. The ICE officers made 266, 000 arrests of criminals at the border in just the past two years alone.

Molson Coors Brewing Company

The Molson Coors Brewing Company PAC and related individuals contributed $5,400 to Trumps 2016 campaign, but the brand has been under extra scrutiny for the political leanings of Pete Coors, its chairman. Coors is a top individual contributor to Republican causes and personally gave thousands to Trumps election campaigns, as well as throwing him a fundraiser back in 2016. Molson Coors has a number of subsidiaries with a Canadian presence, including all Miller beers and a stake in Ontarios The Beer Store.

I Just Want To Watch The Chaos

I wanted to explain why Id vote for Trump. There are 2 main reasons:

  • His desire to be a successful president to feed his ego could paradoxically motivate him to be an extremely willing, conscientious delegater, surrounding himself with effective political operatives so he could stick to his strength of being a showman.
  • Partly I just want to watch the chaos unfold if a purely ego-driven man were to experience success with a presidential run. Im a young guy who is immature, a bit antisocial, and with no plans for kids or a wife ever. At some level, I dont really care how things go with America as long as its fun to watch, like watching a basketball game when your favorite team isnt playing. I hope this sheds light.

Republican operatives reportedly had to look his name up on Google when he came forward to help.

    Desperate People Cast Desperate Votes

How can Christians support Donald Trump?

It really isnt about Donald Trump. Its about the fact that many thought and believed President Obama was the change that they wanted in 2008. We still trusted him in 2012. All of that hope has died. This administration keeps telling everyone that things are better, but the middle class now knows that isnt quite true. Wall Street, the banks, and even illegal immigrants seem to be prospering more than the average American citizen. We are desperate. Desperate people do desperate things.

Supporters Say: He Achieved The American Dream

Trump said: I will build a great walland nobody builds walls better than me, believe me I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.

Your comeback: If he achieved the American dream, will he help you too? Sure, Trump has achieved the American Dream, if you consider receiving a million dollar loan from his father and being born into a well-to-do family with a secure social safety net, Wake Forest University senior Sebastian Ivory said Additionally, Trumps 17 cabinet appointees have a combined wealth higher than one-third of Americans. Including Betsy DeVos, who is worth over 5 billion dollars, and Wilber Ross, who is worth nearly 3 billion, Ivory said. I hate to say it, but Ive seen smarter cabinets at IKEA.

    Trump Is Not Rehearsed

Mr. Trump is truthful. Good or bad, the truthfulness of his words are as clear as a breath of fresh air spoken from a foundation of experience and wisdom with a dash of enthusiasm.

Lies are out, unrehearsed truth is in.

What you see is what you see, all the cards are on the table, the words are non-rehearsed, flowing forth and engendering a sense of trust. In all the other candidates, this one foundational factor, truth, is not found honor and integrity is lacking in one fashion or another, replaced by spin and sleight of hand. Mr. Trump is standing tall above the tainted political refuse beneath. We stood for something once. None of us wants to hear we as a nation are defective from the Oval Office.

He Has Helped Create New Jobs

Melania Trump: How can I help reunite these families?

A big part of what President Trump set out to do as President was to bring back and/or create new jobs to bring down unemployment. To America great and prosperous for all Americans. Since he has become President they’ve created 5.3 million new jobs.Unemployment has reached the lowest it has ever been. 157 million people are at work today. That is the most it has ever been.

    Trumps Future: Nine Possibilities

As former President Donald Trumps second impeachment trial begins, it shines a light on a new reality: although its been nearly 100 days since Trump lost his re-election he is not going away, at least in the short term. What will become of Trump? Here are nine possible outcomes for Trumps futurethe first four possibilities keep him in the middle of national politics in the latter five, he would more likely fade away.

    1. Leading the Trumpublican faction of the GOP

Over the course of four years as president, Trump masterfully consolidated Republican voters into a cult of personality. His hardcore supporters were willing to believe anything that left his lips, regardless of evidence to the contrary. They were willing to put their own lives at risk as he huddled them together at rallies and mocked those taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. They were willing to commit insurrection against their own government, all in his name and to support his lies about election malfeasance.

That non-trivial group of Republican and Republican-leaning voters is not going away, and they remain loyal not to the party but to Donald Trump. It remains to be seen exactly how large this group is, how much power they will wield in Republican primaries and whether a non-Trumpublican candidate can consolidate the remainder of the party.

    2. Uniting MAGA to form a third party

This Looks Catastrophic For The Left

WHEN DONALD TRUMP descended his escalator six years ago and inveighed against Mexican rapist immigrants, it was assumed that Hispanic voters would take offence. But a short hop across the Hudson river, in heavily Hispanic Passaic City, Angel Castillo loved what he heard. Trump kept it real, recalled the 43-year-old immigrant, over a cup of strong Dominican coffee in his small family restaurant, El Primito. He didnt say all Latinos are rapists. He said a lot of those coming over the border are rapists and drug-dealers and hes right.

Though a registered Democrat, Mr Castillo resolved to vote Republican thenceforth. Many of his relatives were horrified: People said youre crazy, youre voting for a racist. Yet his wife, mother, brother, sister and teenage daughter followed his lead. This puts them in the most intriguing, hotly studied and potentially decisive cohort in American politics: Hispanic Trump voters.

Passaic City, a decaying factory-town where seven in ten voters are Latino, helps illustrate it. In 2016 Mr Trump won 22% of the vote there, almost the same as Mitt Romney had. Four years of relentless immigrant-bashing and race-baiting later, he bagged 36%. Mr Murphys Republican challenger, Jack Ciattarelli, appears to have held on to that gain when vote-counting finishes, a third of the commissioners of Passaic County could be Republican.

The head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee also said the committee will back all incumbents, whether Trump likes them or not.

Florida Sen. Rick Scott signaled Sunday morning that GOP candidates should vie for an endorsement from former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2022 midterms but that his endorsement is not enough to win.

You’d be foolish not to want and accept Donald Trump’s endorsement, he told host Chuck Todd on NBCs Meet the Press, but youre going to win not because somebody endorses you.

Scott, the National Republican Senatorial Committee chair, is helping shape the partys midterm strategy.

Since last Tuesdays Republican successes, GOP strategists and Senate Republicans are giddy at the idea of continuing red flips in 2022. In particular, Glenn Youngkins stunning win in Virginias gubernatorial race was seen as inspiring GOP midterm hopefuls to follow suit: using an endorsement from Trumps gigantic platform to win the hearts of Trump-loving voters, but keeping enough of a distance to avoid going down in history as a Trumpian politician. That comes even as Trump becomes more involved in state-level GOP races.

Scott said the NRSC will actively support all incumbents running for reelection even the ones that Trump opposes, like Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Joe Biden is the president. We went through the constitutional process, he was elected. the Florida senator told Todd.

Daily Shows Trevor Noah Grills Chris Christie On Supporting Trump In 2024

Farm Journal Pulse Shows Farmer Support for President ...

Despite the strong criticism of Trump in his new book, Christie has been reluctant to rule out voting for him if hes the nominee in the next presidential election.

    Comedy Central

The first thing Trevor Noah asked Chris Christie when they sat down for an extended talk on The Daily Show Monday night was, Are we having a legit conversation or are you going to politician me?

Christiepromised Noah a totally legit interview. And he mostly stuck to it, sharing candid anecdotes from his new book, Republican Rescue: Saving the Party from Truth Deniers, Conspiracy Theorists, and the Dangerous Policies of Joe Biden and openly criticizing Donald Trump more than pretty much any other high-profile conservative has been willing do since Jan. 6. But when it came to the question of whether he would support Trump should he become the Republican nominee in 2024, Christie refused to rule it out.

On the one hand, Christie said he was certainly thinking about another run for president in 2024 and when Noah asked if he would run against Trump, he replied, Sure. He said he felt no pressure not to run if Trump, as expected, gets in the race. If you believe that youre the best person to be president of the United States, why does it matter who else runs? Christie asked. To me, its almost disqualifying to say, Ill defer to somebody else. Then, as an extra dig at Trump he added, Were not talking about Dwight Eisenhower here.

Where Did The Big Money Go

Very large donations in U.S. presidential elections are directed to super PACs or hybrid PACs because of the $5,600 limit on how much an individual can give to a candidates official campaign committee per election cycle. America First Action, a single-candidate, pro-Trump super PAC founded in April 2017 to support his agenda and deliver him a victory, was the primary recipient of funds from his wealthy backers.

Millions of dollars have come into the super PAC from the affiliated America First Policies nonprofit, but because it doesnt disclose its donors, its known as a dark money group, and we cant be certain who contributed to it. Trump supporters may have also given to joint fundraising committees set up for the presidential campaign and the Republican National Committeefor example, Trump Victory or the Trump Make America Great Again Committee.

Center For Religion And Civic Culture

This piece was originally published by Religion News Service.

As a student of American evangelicalism, I am frequently asked how Christians can support Donald Trump. I stop myself from going into lecture mode. Most people want a sound bite, not a disquisition.

So heres the short answer: Ever since 1980, when Ronald Reagan told a Dallas gathering of 15,000 evangelicals, you cant endorse me but I want you to know that I endorse you, white evangelicals have voted for Republicans, who mostly promise to enact their agenda.

Mostly theyve been disappointed. In November 2016, when Trump won election to the White House, abortion was still legal, gay couples had the right to marry, government regulations inhibited the free market and the U.S. embassy to Israel remained in Tel Aviv.

Trump promised to change all that.

Despite his personal shortcomings, evangelicals believed him. He selected a solid Christian as his running mate, and his track record as a businessman proved he got things done.

God uses imperfect messengers, evangelicals reasoned, and if King David an adulterer who arranged to have his partners husband killed could still accomplish great good, why not the 45th president?

But here is another answer to the question of why evangelicals support Trump: They dont, or at least not all of them.

Our goal was to educate reporters for the 2018 midterm election where white evangelicals again voted overwhelmingly Republican and beyond.

    We used three sorting criteria.
