In January 2017, The Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report concluding that Russia interfered with the 2016 election. The report found that the Russians did not directly tamper with polls, but instead disseminated pro-Trump messages across the Internet and hacked the DNC. Facebook later announced in 2017 that over 3,000 political ads on their site were linked to Russia. Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey and insisted that there was no collusion! between his team and the hackers.
Former FBI director Robert Mueller was appointed as special counsel to investigate possible collusion between Russia and Trumps campaign. The Mueller Report found that Russia “interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion” and “violated U.S. criminal law. It ultimately failed to find the rumored link between the Trump administration and the interference, concluding: the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities. Several Trump associates were indicted, including Michael Cohen, George Papadopoulos, Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and Michael Flynn.
President Trump Personifies Success
One of the most remarkable aspects of Trump is his success. The president owns multiple hotels, resorts, golf courses, residential towers and more. He has authored multiple best-selling books and currently maintains a net worth in the billions.
Unfortunately, success is something that is constantly under attack by progressives and Democrats. These attacks are largely carried out by the lefts incessant calls to increase taxes on wealthy, successful Americans. However, what the liberal left fails to realize is that one cannot make the poor rich by making the rich poor.
Success is something that must be earned and worked for. Having Trump in office places a spotlight on his achievements it also shows that anything can be accomplished with determination, gumption, hard work and consistency.
Relationship With The Press
Throughout his career, Trump has sought media attention, with a “lovehate” relationship with the press. Trump began promoting himself in the press in the 1970s. Fox News anchor Bret Baier and former House speaker Paul Ryan have characterized Trump as a “troll” who makes controversial statements to see people’s “heads explode.”
In the 2016 campaign, Trump benefited from a record amount of free media coverage, elevating his standing in the Republican primaries.New York Times writer Amy Chozick wrote in 2018 that Trump’s media dominance, which enthralls the public and creates “can’t miss” reality television-type coverage, was politically beneficial for him.
As a candidate and as president, Trump frequently accused the press of bias, calling it the “fake news media” and “the enemy of the people.” In 2018, journalist Lesley Stahl recounted Trump’s saying he intentionally demeaned and discredited the media “so when you write negative stories about me no one will believe you.”
As president, Trump deployed the legal system to intimidate the press. In early 2020, the Trump campaign sued The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CNN for alleged defamation in opinion pieces about Russian election interference. Legal experts said that the lawsuits lacked merit and were not likely to succeed. By March 2021, the lawsuits against The New York Times and CNN had been dismissed.

Accomplishment: Defeating Isis’s Caliphate And Killing Abu Bakr Al
ISIS shocked the world in 2014 when it took over a large swath of territory across Iraq and Syria and declared a caliphate.
The terrorist group’s territorial holdings were the basis for its so-called caliphate, and provided it will a major base of operations to conduct attacks across the world.
After a five-year effort led by the US, ISIS’s caliphate was finally defeated in March 2019.
Trump at times falsely claimed that ISIS is totally defeated, embellishing the extent of the US military’s success against the terrorist organization during his presidency. Though the terrorist group has lost its territory its so-called caliphate it’s still estimated to have up to 18,000 fighters in Iraq and Syria.
In late October, a US raid led to the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Baghdadi was the world’s most wanted terrorist up to that point and his death represented a major blow to the terrorist group.
“Last night, the United States brought the world’s No. 1 terrorist leader to justice,” Trump said at the time. “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.”
“Capturing or killing him has been the top national security priority of my administration,” he added.

President Trump Speaks Candidly
For far too long, the American people have been forced to deal with smooth-talking, scripted and rehearsed politicians. However, Trump does not fall into these categories. He addresses matters as they are and is not afraid to fight back when attacked. Moreover, the presidents effective manners of communications allow him to connect with Americans.
Throughout the 2016 election and Trumps presidency, his critics have slammed his use of Twitter. In recent months, anti-Trump individuals have even for Twitter to suspend the presidents accounts Twitter has declined to honor these requests.
Nevertheless, Trumps tweets allow Americans to hear directly from him without the filters of the mainstream media. As technology becomes more and more dominant in the modern world, our leaders must also learn to adapt the president is already way ahead of the game.
Allegations Of Inciting Violence
Research suggests Trump’s rhetoric caused an increased incidence of hate crimes. During his 2016 campaign, he urged or praised physical attacks against protesters or reporters. Since then, some defendants prosecuted for hate crimes or violent acts cited Trump’s rhetoric in arguing that they were not culpable or should receive a lighter sentence. In May 2020, a nationwide review by ABC News identified at least 54 criminal cases from August 2015 to April 2020 in which Trump was invoked in direct connection with violence or threats of violence by mostly white men against mostly members of minority groups. On January 13, 2021, the House of Representatives impeached Trump for incitement of insurrection for his actions prior to the storming of the U.S. Capitol by a violent mob of his supporters who acted in his name.

Trump Impeached Then Acquitted
Trump was impeached on December 18, 2019 on two articlesabuse of power and obstruction of justice. The impeachment charges stemmed mainly from a July 25, 2019 phone call with the newly-elected president of the Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy. During the call, Trump asked the Ukrainian president to investigate Joe Biden, vice president under Barack Obama and a Democratic hopeful for the 2020 presidential race. Trumps attorney, Rudy Giuliani, had publicly accused Biden of having former chief Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin removed from office because he was investigating Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company. Joe Bidens son, Hunter Biden, was on the board of the company.
An anonymous whistleblower came forward to report the call: “In the course of my official duties, I have received information from multiple U.S. Government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.”

President Trump Supports Law Enforcement
Throughout the 2016 election, law and order stood as a benchmark of Trumps campaign. Even throughout his presidency, Trump has vocalized his support for law enforcement officers. This is more important than ever, particularly in a time where left-wing socialists and violent protesters are rallying for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Law enforcement officers play a vital role in upholding the safety and sacredness of America. Without the bravest men and women in this nation, the United States would rapidly regress into anarchy, chaos and eventual ruin. Having a president who is willing to support the people who help make America great matters it sets a good precedent.

Hostile historians may come to regard Donald Trump’s presidency as an aggregation of the lesser traits of his predecessors.
