When Is Trump Rally In Florida

Heres What Trump Said At His First Return To Rallies After He Left The White House

Supporters line up early for Florida Trump rally

Trump returned to his familiar conspiracy theory mongering about a rigged 2020 election and lashed out at new targets like critical race theory and his own conservative Supreme Court at a comeback rally in Ohio earlier this month.

He also vowed, as has been apparent for months now, that he would never stop fighting to challenge the 2020 election results, which numerous analyses, bipartisan expert testimonies, lawsuits, and audits have declared free of any meaningful irregularities.

Well never stop fighting for the true results in this election, the former president said. Im not the one trying to undermine American democracy. Im the one thats trying to save American democracy, adding, Who the hell knows what will happen in 2024? Were not going to have a country left. If we dont figure it out, we wont be in a position to win in 2022.

Heres the report from The Independents Josh Marcus:

The former president spread more 2020 election conspiracy theories, trashed his hand-picked Supreme Court, and railed against critical race theory at a comeback rally in Ohio

During his second campaign-style rally after his presidency ended in January, Donald Trump raged against New York prosecutors targeting his Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, who pleaded not guilty this week to a range of criminal charges related to a years-long tax fraud probe.

After his companys longtime chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg pleaded not guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday, the former president dismissed the case as prosecutorial misconduct but appeared to acknowledge the charges against him and his company.

You didnt pay tax on the car or a company apartment … you didnt pay tax, or education for your grandchildren, he said at his rally in Sarasota, Florida on 3 July. Does anybody know the answer to that stuff?

The president held his rally across the state from emergency crews still searching for survivors in the wake of a building collapse north of Miami.

Governor Ron DeSantis a staunch ally of Mr Trump did not attend the rally, and the governors aides allegedly asked the former president to postpone the event as the tragedy unfolds.

We can confirm that the Governor will not attend the rally in Sarasota.

Trumps man in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis, wont attend the ex-presidents rally.

He spoke with President Trump, who agreed that this was the right decision, as the Governors duty is to be in Surfside making sure the families and community have what they need in the aftermath of the tragic building collapse, said DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw said in a statement.

DeSantis did convene with President Joe Biden this week during the presidents visit to the state.

Indictment Of Trump Organization And Cfo Loom Over Rally

Out of office for little more than five months, Trump has already begun to resume political rallies, beginning with a June 26 event in northern Ohio.

Saturday’s rally was a homecoming of sorts for the former president. His is closed for the summer, so Trump is currently living at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The Sarasota event also took place just days after prosecutors unveiled indictments of the Trump Organization and Allen Weisselberg, the company’s longtime chief financial officer. Weisselberg, accused of collecting more than $1.7 million in off-the-books compensation as part of a company-sanctioned scheme to avoid taxes, pleaded not guilty.

Trump, who remains under investigation, denounced the charges as politically motivated, and argued that his corporation is being singled out for things that many companies do regarding fringe benefits and taxation.

“It’s a terrible, terrible thing,” Trump said of the investigation.

Biden Says He Started The Vaccination Program Despite Trump Rollout

Former President Donald Trump is hosting another Saturday night special.

Trumps Save America PAC announced Wednesday that the 45th president would hold the second of four planned campaign-style rallies July 3 in Sarasota, Fla., followed by a fireworks show to mark the Independence Day holiday.

The announcement noted that the rally would be co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Florida, Trumps home state.

Trump is scheduled to hold his first post-White House rally this coming Saturday in Wellington, Ohio. It will be the first time he addresses supporters in such a setting since the Jan. 6 Stop the Steal rally which precipitated the deadly riot at the US Capitol.

The Ohio rally is meant to boost the House campaign of former Trump adviser Max Miller, who is challenging GOP Rep. Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzalez was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump on a single count of incitement of insurrection over the Capitol riot. In a February statement endorsing Miller, Trump said Gonzalez should not be representing the people of the 16th district because he does not represent their interest or their heart.

Presidential Race Right Around The Corner

Trump has expressed some annoyance at DeSantis’ political rise.

In interviews, Trump has sought to assert his party dominance by saying he would consider the Florida governor as a potential running mate. He has also taken credit for DeSantis’ success, saying his endorsement enabled the then-congressman to win the Florida Republican primary for governor in 2018.

I was at the beginning of Ron, Trump told the Fox Business Network last month.

Trump’s representatives declined to discuss any differences with DeSantis in the run-up to the Sarasota rally, issuing only a statement saying they never planned to postpone the event in the wake of the building collapse on the other side of the state.

Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington noted Sarasota is three-and-a-half hours driving time away from the Miami area, and the rally will not affect recovery efforts at Surfside. During the rally, Trump asked his supporters to observe a moment of silence for the victims of the collapse.

“Like all Americans, President Trump sends his deepest condolences to those who’ve lost loved ones or been displaced by the terrible tragedy in Surfside,” Harrington said.

With DeSantis facing a re-election bid just next year, Democrats are looking to exploit divisions between the governor and the former president. A political action committee called Remove Ron put up an ad this week poking Trump over GOP support for his supposed protege.

“Now Ron’s beating you in the race for president,” the ad said.

Trump To Hold Rally In Florida Ahead Of Fourth Of July

Former President Donald Trump will attend a rally in Sarasota, Florida, on Saturday, in his second large campaign-style event since he lost the presidential election. His appearance comes after the Trump Organization and Allen Weisselberg, its chief financial officer, pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges in an alleged tax fraud scheme on Thursday.

Mr. Trump’s appearance in Florida also comes after the partial collapse of a condominium in Surfside, Florida, that killed at least 24 people and left more than 100 unaccounted for. According to a report last week by the Washington Examiner, a conservative outlet, Mr. Trump ignored pleas from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to postpone his rally in the wake of the disaster. However, the governor’s office denied that DeSantis wants to postpone the rally, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported.

DeSantis has been a staunch supporter of the former president, but he is also a potential rival for the Republican nomination in 2024. The Florida governor has gained popularity in the party for his response to the coronavirus pandemic and his outspokenness on ideological issues that resonate with Republican voters, such as support for restrictive voting measures and opposition to critical race theory. But DeSantis is toeing a fine line as he raises his own profile, as he will want Mr. Trump’s support for his reelection race as governor in 2022.
