In 1902 Friedrich Married Elisabeth Christ A Former Neighbor In Kallstadt
Elisabeth, who was 11 years her husband’s junior, met Friedrich during one of his visits home in 1901.
Elisabeth moved to America with her husband after their wedding. By then, Friedrich was an American citizen. He shuttered his businesses on the West coast and turned his attention to Queens, according to Jason Horowitz of The Times.
In 1904, the family went back to Germany only to be deported shortly thereafter.
Government officials ruled that Friedrich be deported as he had never fulfilled his mandatory military service and had failed to notify authorities of his move to the US. Friedrich wrote a letter to the prince regent of Bavaria in 1905 requesting that he be allowed to continue to live there, but his petitions were rejected.
Upon their return to the US in July of 1905, they lived in the South Bronx neighborhood of New York City.

Trump Invokes Antisemitic Tropes While Discussing His Support For Israel
Theyre Jewish people that run The New York Times, the former president said, alleging that the paper “hates Israel.”

Former President Donald Trump veered into several antisemitic tropes in a recent interview, claiming that Israel used to have absolute power over Congress and saying that American Jews the majority of whom vote Democratic either dont like Israel or dont care about Israel.
Trumps comments to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid are not the first time hes used language that skews toward biased stereotypes about Jews: In 2019, the then-president said Jews who vote Democratic are being very disloyal to Israel. His most recent remarks come, however, as Republicans on Capitol Hill remain highly critical of progressive Democrats increasing support for Palestinian rights and burgeoning criticism of Israeli government policies toward Palestinians.
Trump also claimed to Ravid, who recently published a book about his administrations Abraham Accords treaties between Israel and Arab nations, that evangelical Christians in the United States love Israel more than the Jews touting a group he heavily courted in his 2016 presidential campaign and a pillar of his political base.
The former president also cited the heritage of the Sulzberger family that publishes The New York Times, which he said hates Israel.

Trump’s Oldest Sister Maryanne Trump Barry 83 Is A Retired Federal Judge
Barry has degrees from Mount Holyoke College and Columbia University. She has a son, David Desmond, who is a clinical psychologist.
According to Town & Country magazine, she was nominated to the US District Court by President Ronald Reagan 1983 and the US Court of Appeals by President Bill Clinton in 1999.
“I knew better even as a child than to even attempt to compete with Donald. I wouldn’t have been able to win. He was building models when he was very young. Huge buildings,” Barry told New York Magazine in 2002.
On August 22, the Washington Post released a number of voice notes where Barry can be heard being critical of her brother. In the recordings, Barry refers to Trump as “cruel” and comments on “the phoniness of it all.”
“His goddamned tweet and the lying, oh my God. I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy shit. But he’s appealing to the base. What they’re doing to the kids at the border, I mean,” Barry could be heard saying in the recording.
“Every day it’s something else, who cares. I miss my brother, and I’ll continue to work hard for the American people. Not everyone agrees, but the results are obvious. Our country will soon be stronger than ever before,” the White House said on behalf of Trump in a statement shared with Business Insider, referencing his late younger brother, Robert Trump.

When hundreds of hours of tapes from the Nixon White House became public, two decades ago, the full extent of Nixons prejudices, including his contempt for Jews, came into sharp focus. The Jews are all over the government, he told his chief of staff H. R. Haldeman, at an Oval Office meeting, in 1971. Whats more, most Jews are disloyal. Nixon made allowances for some of his useful advisers, including Henry Kissinger and William Safire, but, he said, generally speaking, you cant trust the bastards.
Its no surprise that Trump is willing to trash foreign leaders in the most vivid terms. What seems to have shocked some American readers is that he trafficked so fluently in traditional tropes about Jewish power, conspiracy, and disloyalty. Doesnt he have a Jewish son-in-law, Jared Kushner? A daughter who converted and Jewish grandchildren? Didnt he have Jewish lieutenants in both business and government, to say nothing of close relationships with Sheldon Adelson and the like?
Ravid told me that he did not emerge from his interview, or his over-all analysis of Trump, believing that the former President is an anti-Semite: I think his state of mind is similar to the state of mind of many people here in Israel. He pointed out that Trumps comments about American Jews, Christian evangelicals, and the Times might as well have come out of the mouth of Netanyahu himself.

Mr. Trump has been called to account for the discrepancy in the past, sometimes admitting it, sometimes not. In an interview in his Trump Tower office, he at first claimed not to know that his father pretended to be Swedish, saying: Is that true? I dont know. He later acknowledged that the two of them would occasionally discuss the concealment of their heritage, explaining that his father didnt want to put any pressure on his Jewish friends.
It was a very tough time, he said.
We have a war, we are fighting a war with Germany, said Mr. Trump, who was born a year after World War II ended.

He was a very entrepreneurial person, Mr. Trump said.
Affinity Partners Private Equity Investment Fund
Within the Trump administration, Kushner had been a staunch defender of Saudi ruler Mohammed bin Salman. In 2021, Kushner started an investment firm, Affinity Partners. He sought funds for the new company through the sovereign wealth funds of Gulf countries. Advisers for the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi government’s sovereign wealth fund, expressed several concerns about the transactionincluding the inexperience of Affinity management, the degree of risk to be assumed by the Saudi kingdom, an “excessive” management fee, and a finding that Affinity’s operations were “unsatisfactory in all aspects”. However, PIF management overruled them and invested $2 billion in Kushner’s firm, only six months after Kushner had left the White House. The firm primarily depended on Saudi money, as, by April 2022, it only had $2.5 billion under its management. According to ethics experts, the investment created the appearance of potential payback for Kushner. The House Oversight Committee said on June 2, 2022 that it had opened an investigation into whether Kushner had traded on his government position to get the deal.
The fund plans to invest Saudi money into startup companies in Israel. According to the Wall Street Journal, “The decision marks the first known instance that the Saudi Public Investment Funds cash will be directed to Israel, a sign of the kingdoms increasing willingness to do business with the country, even though they have no diplomatic relations.”

Use Of Whatsapp For White House Duties
While a White House official, Kushner used WhatsApp to conduct government business. This raised concerns among cybersecurity experts who said this left his communications vulnerable to potential exploitation by foreign governments and hackers. Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman was reportedly one of the individuals that Kushner contacted through WhatsApp in January 2020, UN investigators said that there was evidence that the bin Salman was involved in the hacking of Jeff Bezos’s phone through WhatsApp communications, which led to warnings that Kushner should stop using WhatsApp. Kushner reportedly used WhatsApp to communicate with his coronavirus team during March and April 2020.

When congregants enter the Beach Haven Jewish Center in Gravesend, Brooklyn, they pass a small plaque hanging just outside the main sanctuary.
Fred Trump. Humanitarian, declare the gold embossed, all-caps letters. Let this plaque be a token of our sincerest appreciation, never to be forgotten, always to be a shining light to all men who have faith.
The plaque, inscribed Dec. 15, 1956, is the most visible reminder of an unlikely and mostly unknown friendship between the Lutheran real estate developer and father of President Trump and this enclave of Orthodox Jews in Brooklyn.
I would say that the Beach Haven Jewish Center would not be what it is today, if not for Mr. Fred Trump, Rabbi Shimmy Silver told The Post. We are grateful for his kindness and forever indebted to him for what he has done for our community,
In the 1950s, Brooklyns Jewish community was exploding as new arrivals many of them Holocaust survivors tried to begin new lives.
This presented a dilemma for Rabbi Israel Wagner, whose congregation was starting to outgrow the garage of a building in Fred Trumps Beach Haven development complex where it had been previously meeting.
So in 1955, he set out to meet the landlord.
Wagner, a native of Poland, wasnt sure what to expect when he met Fred Trump. They had never spoken and the rabbi only knew the real estate magnate by his tough reputation.
Inside a small synagogue archive, contemporary records and photos tell more of the story.

Donald Trump Americas First Jewish President
On policy, there is no question that Donald Trump is the most pro-Israel, pro-Jewish candidate to ever run for the U.S. presidency. And this years Republican Party platform is the most pro-Israel political platform in the history of the United States, on either side of the political aisle. That is why when Jewish and pro-Israel voters learn about Donald Trumps policies, they support Donald Trump. Lets examine the evidence and look at other ties that bond Mr. Trump to Israel and the Jewish people.
Protecting Pro-Israel College Students
Theres been a 100% rise in anti-Semitic incidents on college campuses between 2014 and 2015 . As a former federal prosecutor, I am proud that Mr. Trump will direct the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division to investigate and prosecute coordinated intimidation of pro-Israel students by university student groups, faculty and administrators.
Jewish families know too well the financial challenges of sending their kids to a Jewish day school. In effect, they are funding two school systems: private schools through their tuition payments and public schools through their property taxes.
As a product of a public school system, I am proud of Mr. Trumps commitment to strengthen our public school and decrease classroom size. As a Jew, I am equally proud that Mr. Trump will immediately add an additional federal investment of $20 billion towards school choice by reprioritizing existing federal dollars.

Some Of Fred Trumps Chasadim
During the most recent Presidential election campaign in the United States, then-candidate Donald Trump delivered a speech in which he recalled how his father, Fred Trump, built a synagogue in New York. He remembered the location well, and he recalled the work that his father had sent him to do in the residential buildings around the Jewish neighborhood near the shul. Rabbi Shmuel Wagner shlita, mashgiach ruchani of Yeshivas Ohr Yerushalayim in Moshav Beit Meir, shares the incredible story of how Fred Trump built a shul for the congregation headed by his father, Rabbi Yisroel Wagner ztl, and went on to make annual donations to the khilah and for many Jewish families in financial distress.
Eventually, the shuls membership grew to the point that the garage facility was no longer large enough to house the congregation. My father had an idea, Reb Shmuel recalls. He offered to approach Fred Trump, the millionaire landlord, although he didnt know him personally. He hoped that he could convince the man to supply an adequate space for the synagogue. He knew that Fred Trump was a generous soul, a man of faith, and he was likely to relate to the request.
Frederick Christ Trump Donald Trump’s Father Was Born In 1905 Shortly After His Parents Were Forced To Move Back To The Us From Germany
Per a 2018 Independent story, Fred Trump’s first business venture was adding garage extensions to houses as a teenager.
Fred Trump built his career as a real estate mogul in the mid-1900s through construction projects in Brooklyn and Queens and parts of Pennsylvania and Virginia during World War II.
His July 1999 New York Times obituary called him a “self-made man” who built “27,000 apartments and row houses in the neighborhoods of Coney Island, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Flatbush, and Brighton Beach in Brooklyn and Flushing and Jamaica Estates in Queens.”
According to The Times, the Justice Department sued the Trump Management Corporation in 1973 for “discrimination against lacks in apartment rentals.” Fred and Donald were both named as defendants on the suit. Donald Trump called the charges “absolutely ridiculous.”
At the time of his death, his estate was estimated to be somewhere between $250 million and $300 million.
A 2018 New York Times investigation found that President Trump has received over $400 million from his father’s real estate empire, adding that “much of this money came to Mr. Trump because he helped his parents dodge taxes.”
