How To Ask President Trump A Question

Will He Tear Up The Iran Deal

Donald Trump loses appeal, to be questioned in New York tax fraud probe | US | Latest English News

Trump took a softer line on the U.S.-led nuclear deal with Iran than his GOP primary rivals, declining to say that hed rip it up on Day One of his presidency. Instead, hed try to renegotiate its terms. But hes made his intentions clear, telling the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, My number-one priority is to dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran.

Iran is clearly nervous: The countrys foreign minister, Javad Zarif, on Wednesday urged Americas new president to stand by the agreement. Trump has used an analogy from the real estate world to explain his approach: Im really good at looking at a contract and finding things within a contract that, even if theyre bad, I would police that contract so tough that they dont have a chance, he said in August.

You’re A Worker Aren’t You So Why Don’t You Believe In The Rights Of Workers

Donald Trump told corporate CEOs that he intends to cut 75% of the laws and regulations that protects workers rights and the environment. Think this doesn’t affect you? Think again. You have a job don’t you? You live on this planet don’t you? Besides giving corporations huge tax breaks, cutting workers protection rights means eradicating things like safety laws in the workplace and overtime pay. It would also have huge detrimental effects on the environment. But we’ll talk about that more later. In short, I hope you don’t like your job, because Trump intends to make it a whole lot easier for your boss to screw you over in every possible way.

One state has already implemented such a plan: Kansas. Republicans made huge reductions in the tax rates of the wealthy and corporations stating it would ‘jump start their floundering economy.’ You know what it did instead? It tanked their economy. Due to the massive amount of money they lost, it not only slowed down their economy, but republicans basically bankrupt their education and transportation funds to compensate for all the debt they accumulated. But who needs roads and an education, right? Plus, the dumber the population, the more likely they are to vote for republicans.

That is what you can look forward to when Trump cuts workers rights and protections: massive recession. Better start saving your pennies and stocking up on food now.

Will He Continue To Have Access To His Own Twitter Account

Trumps aides successfully wrestled away control of his volatile Twitter account in the waning days of the campaign, preventing him from making any statements that could damage his candidacy before Election Day -like his early-morning attack on former Miss Universe Alicia Machado. Trumps tweets became an applause line for Clinton and Obama, who said his 140-character bursts of invective proved him unfit for the presidency. Even his own allies had urged him to knock it off, with former House speaker Newt Gingrich commenting: I dont think you want a president of the United States who randomly tweets. You want somebody who thinks it through, has staff check it out. I mean I very much am opposed to this 3 a.m. baloney.

Questions To Ask President Trump

  • Online-only letter to the editor

All hail the commander-in-chief. These are questions that I’d ask at a presidential press conference:

1. Is it true, Mr. President, that you plan on replacing Dr. Tony Fauci with either Dr. Ben Carson or the My Pillow guy? If so, when?

2. Any truth to the rumor that you found racy pictures of Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the first ladys vanity case? Have you spoken with her about this discovery?

3. When do you plan on releasing Eric and Don Jr. from quarantine in the White House guest room? Its been a month and theyre never been tested. Are they OK?

4. How do you plan on dealing with the severe shortage of Mystic Self-Tanning/Bronzer lotion? Are the New Jersey/West Palm Beach storage facilities safe from theft?

5. Have you figured out who that woman from Michigan really is and why shes bothering you for needed medical supplies?

Few Facts Millions Of Clicks: Fearmongering Vaccine Stories Go Viral Online

If Trump refuses to answer a question, Obama

And why don’t we just dive right in? I’ve got a lot to talk about. There’s a lot to go over, but I want to begin briefly on the pandemic. What advice would you give to Americans who haven’t chosen to get vaccinated?

Well, first of all, the mandate is really hurting our country. Now that’s advice to an administration more so than to the Americans. A lot of Americans aren’t standing for it, and it’s hurting our country. It’s hurting our economy very badly. And being very the proud person that did so well with therapeutics and, and vaccines and everything else and getting them done in record times, you know, I I have a lot to say on the subject. And one of the things I say is they have to start promoting and making the therapeutics more available, because we have great therapeutics, too, in addition to the vaccines.

What is the advice on the vaccines, though?

But the therapeutics —

The vaccines, I recommend taking them, but I think that has to be an individual choice. I mean, it’s got to be individual, but I recommend taking them. Many people recommend them. And if some people don’t want, they shouldn’t have to take them. They can’t be mandated, as the expression goes. And I think that’s very important. Personally, I feel very comfortable having taken them. I’ve had absolutely no reverberation.

White House Fires Back At Trump’s Request That Putin Release Dirt On Hunter Biden

What kind of American, let alone an ex-president, thinks that this is the right time to enter into a scheme with Vladimir Putin…? Communications Director Kate Bedingfield said.

The White House on Wednesday fired back at former President Donald Trump after he called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to release dirt on Hunter Biden, President Joe Bidens son.

The White House has mostly dodged questions about Hunter Bidens alleged business dealings with east European oligarchs, noting that he does not work for the government. But during Wednesdays press briefing, Communications Director Kate Bedingfield faced the Trump question head-on.

What kind of American, let alone an ex-president, thinks that this is the right time to enter into a scheme with Vladimir Putin and brag about his connections to Vladimir Putin? Bedingfield said. There is only one, and its Donald Trump.

Trumps latest request comes after he described Putins invasion of Ukraine as genius and savvy in February, rhetoric that falls in line with his tendency to speak favorably of the Russian leader. His latest request for Putin sparked more backlash this week, as Trump leaned into dubious claims about Hunter Bidens foreign business dealings, alleging that he received millions of dollars from the wife of Moscows late mayor Yury Luzhkov, and that Putin could confirm this information.

In The Past 48 Hours 2 Republicans In Swing Seats Called It Quits How Much Of Those Decisions Have To Do With Your Low Approval Ratings

With California Reps. Darrell Issa and Ed Royce announcing their retirement plans over the last two days, there are now 32 House Republicans bowing out in 2018 as compared to just 15 Democrats. More important than that, almost 20% of the 23 Republicans who represent seats won by Hillary Clinton in 2016 are retiring or running for another office.

Those decisions are heavily influenced by the fact that the history of midterm elections when the presidents approval is below 50% is absolutely terrifying for his party. Since 1962, the average seat loss for the presidents party in this situation is 40 seats well more than the 24 Democrats need to win back the majority.

Midterm elections, at least in recent years, have been referendums on the president of the United States. If Trump believes this one wont be, why does he think that and has he shared it with the Republicans retiring this fall?

Experts Call It A ‘clown Show’ But Arizona ‘audit’ Is A Disinformation Blueprint

Why is it that you think that the vast majority of your allies in the United States Senate are not standing behind you? We did have that statement by Mike Rounds.

Because Mitch McConnell is a loser. And frankly, Mitch McConnell, if he were on the other side and if Schumer were put in his position, he would have been fighting this like you’ve never seen before. He would have been fighting this, because when you look at it, and this is long is a long way from over. You take a look at what’s going on now in Pennsylvania. Take a look at what’s going on in Wisconsin. You just take a look.

Now, we had a lot of cases where the judges wouldn’t hear him. We had a case in Nevada that was so good. You read the papers. It’s impossible. The judge refused to even listen to it. We had many cases. In fact, they say, and I can’t testify because it’s been through a lot of systems, a lot of different systems. But they say, and they say very strongly, the judges just nobody’s really gotten a chance to look. Look at the United States Supreme Court. They refused to hear the case. And you had, I guess, 19 states suing —

They said, there was no standing to give the case. That’s correct. Can I just ask —

Lot of votes. That’s true. In lot of lot of you —

No sitting president. Do you I nobody believes. You think Biden got 80 million votes? Because I don’t believe it.

Here Are 21 Questions For Donald Trump:

“WHAT A STUPID QUESTION” President Trump SLAMS Reporter Over Questions

So, Mr. Trump

1. You call yourself an ardent philanthropist, but have not donated a dollar to The Donald J. Trump Foundation since 2006. Youre not even the biggest donor to the foundation, having given about $3.7 million in the previous two decades while businesses associated with Vince McMahons World Wrestling Entertainment gave the Trump Foundation $5 million. All the money since 2006 has come from those doing business with you.

How does giving away other peoples money, in what could be seen as a kickback scheme, make you a philanthropist?

2. New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman successfully sued you, alleging your Trump University was an illegal educational institution that charged up to $35,000 for Trump Elite mentorships promising personal advice from you, but you never showed up and your special list of lenders was photocopied from Scotsman Guide, a magazine found at any bookstore.

Why did you not show up?

3. You claimed The Learning Annex paid you a $1 million speaking fee, but on Larry King Live, you acknowledged the fee was $400,000 and the rest was the promotional value.

Since you have testified under oath that your public statements inflate the value of your assets, can voters use this as a guide, so whenever you say $1, in reality it is only 40 cents?

4. The one-page financial statement handed out at Trump Tower when you announced your candidacy says youve given away $102 million worth of land.

Why?

Will He Live In The White House

In many ways, moving to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. would be a step down for Trump. Although it boasts six floors, 132 rooms and 35 bathrooms, White House is much smaller than it looks, and its known as something of a gilded cage for U.S. presidents a suffocating bubble that makes it difficult to interact with old friends and regular Americans. President Barack Obama often chafed at the resulting claustrophobia, relishing long dinners on trips abroad, spending weekend days at the golf course and taking impromptu walks in the immediate vicinity of the White House.

Some have speculated that Trump might set up a pied a terre at his new hotel in the Old Post Office building just down the road. But hes told interviewers he would live in the White House because its the appropriate thing to do, though doing so is not required by law. I would rarely leave the White House because theres so much work to be done, he told The Hill in June 2015, working in a shot at Obama for good measure: I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off.

Would Trump redecorate the presidential mansion in his own latter-day Rococo style? He told People magazine last year that he would maybe touch it up a little bit. But the White House is a special place, you dont want to do much touching.

If Youre Asking A Tough Question Be Unambiguous

Libel lawyers have taught me a great lesson in recent years if youre asking a tough question, be as unambiguous as possible. The interviewee is not going to think you are playing nice because youve sandwiched the question with subclauses and caveats. In short, if youre going to accuse somebody of antisemitism, accuse them.

In this case, the question could have been: Mr President, do you think the reported rise in antisemitism in America since you started campaigning for the presidency can be attributed to the xenophobia and racist tones of your campaign and administration?

Trump might have simply said no, and tried to humiliate the journalist. Or he might have asked the reporter to back up the allegation of a rise in antisemitism . But a more direct question would have certainly given Trump less waffle room.

Remain True To Your Journalist Self

Trump questions Rubio

There are so many different ways to ask questions. David Frost interrogated Richard Nixon brilliantly the art critic David Sylvester wheedled his way into Francis Bacons psyche by asking the simple question: The pope … is it Papa? the Rolling Stone co-founder Jann S Wenner got a fabulously vitriolic interview out of John Lennon by stirring things about Paul McCartney Johnny Carson and David Letterman opened people up with cheek and humour James Liptons inoffensive set questions for In The Actors Studio can dredge up great sturm und drang Oprah is a born-counsellor/confessor and Howard Stern gets people to blab with shock-jock directness.

Perhaps the most important thing to do as an interviewer is remain true to yourself. Dont try to be somebody youre not even if the version that you present of yourself is slightly exaggerated.
