Where To Get Trump Yard Signs

Voters Refuse To Take Campaign Signs Down Despite City Order

Trump yard sign thieves get Instant Karma shocked stabbed and chased off! #2

CORRECTION: The Cape Coral resident interviewed in this story was cited for having a sign beyond the city’s size limit of four square feet and for exceeding the city’s limit of up to three lawn signs. Presidential signs are allowed year-round. City election signs must come down three days post-election.

CAPE CORAL, Fla People living on Country Club Blvd and 32nd Street in Cape Coral say the presidential election is not over, and theyre showing it by keeping their Trump Pence lawn signs up despite city orders to take them down.

Kirk Schaub has eight Trump Pence signs in his front yard. He says hes already been cited by code enforcement to take them down. But, he has no plans to. He says the city can go ahead and bill him now for it.

Schaub stood proudly in front of one of those signs Thursday afternoon. The City of Cape Coral requires homeowners to take down city election signage three days after the election. Schaub said his signs are here to stay indefinitely.

Until the election is over, he said.

Despite Joe Biden having 290 electoral votes and President Donald Trump having 217, President Trump tweeted, We will win on Tuesday.

Schaub says he believes President Trump is still in the running to lead the country for the next four years claiming only in-person ballots shouldve counted in the election.

Valid votes are the only thing that should count. Mail-in ballots, all that stuff, should not be counted, he said.

People build trust when they work together to pursue a common purpose, such as getting a new street light installed, cleaning up a park or painting over graffiti. Thats called collective efficacy, and according to Marc Dunkelman, author of The Vanishing Neighbor, its one of the most important signs of a healthy neighborhood. Dunkelman himself didnt truly connect with his new neighbors after he moved to Providence, Rhode Island, until he organized them to lobby the city council to repave their street. Now, he says, Ive become the unofficial mayor of the street.

Signs Of The Times: Months After The Election Yard Signs Still Causing A Ruckus

Tom Eaton typically deals with complaints about overgrown lawns, garbage in a back yard or a misplaced fence.

Eaton is the part-time zoning administrator in the northern Minnesota city of Baudette, and he’s started an uproar in town after ordering residents to remove their political signs and flags.

“This sign issue was nowhere on my radar, he said. I never in my wildest dreams thought we’d be fighting over a sign ordinance.”

Months after the end of the 2020 election, disputes over campaign signs are still causing a ruckus in several Minnesota communities, including Baudette. Protests over orders to remove yard signs has some cities reconsidering their statutes.

State law says yard signs cant be restricted 46 days before and 10 days after an election. But outside of that period, local governments can limit the size and number of signs. The ordinances are mainly about aesthetics: to prevent neighborhoods from being littered with old, tattered signs.

The Baudette ordinance states that campaign signs must be removed 10 days after the election.

After receiving a few complaints, Eaton sent warning letters to 28 people, all with Trump signs or flags in the town of about 1,000 people. Five refused to comply, including Mayor Rick Rone who has a Trump flag on his house.

“I took the signs out of my yard by the deadline, Rone said. But I have a flag on my porch that’s been there for almost a year probably.”

But Eaton said he believes the mayor has put him in a bad spot.

There is a sign that has become ubiquitous on the lawns of Democrats who have lawns. In This House, We Believe, the sign begins, followed by a stack of progressive maxims listed in capital letters. The classic version reads: Black Lives Matter / Womens Rights Are Human Rights / No Human Is Illegal / Science Is Real / Love Is Love. Then the kicker: Kindness Is Everything.

When the yard sign first appeared, in the wake of the 2016 election, I barely noticed it. That era had produced such an exhausting array of ironic paraphernalia that a placard of earnest liberal word salad hardly registered as a rich text. But over the past five years, as the sign spread across the suburbs, I found myself seduced by its chaotic jumble of typefaces, its lifestyle-blog-adjacent aesthetic, its sanctimonious final line and its curious staying power.

What Role Do Lawn Signs Play In The 2020 Election

Lawn signs the cardboard rectangles that populate Americans’ front yards every election cycle may not be a scientific gauge of political support. In fact, it is hard to say if they prove anything about the direction of an election.

However, the shows of partisan support are impossible to ignore, and give both supporters of a candidate and their operatives a sense of optimism or concern.

“We had a smaller sign in 2016. It’s 2020, we have a big sign,” New Hampshire resident Jeane Chase told CBS News’ Brook Silva-Braga, adding that she had only been using political lawn signs “since the 2016 election.”

Her motivation? It was “the candidate and his story.”

While political yard signs have long dotted the American landscape, an anti-establishment message inspired something different across U.S. residents’ lawns a message pushed by then-candidate Donald Trump.

“A lot of people were getting disgusted with politicians in general. They say one thing and do another thing,” Trump supporter Gloria Gebert said. “I’m getting goose bumps because this man, I’m telling you, we just have a lot of faith in him.”

Gebert, like Chase, displays a pro-Trump lawn sign at her Pennsylvania home.

Wayne County, Pennsylvania Democrat Party Chair Mark Gaziadio believes his own side’s lack of signs could have contributed to Hillary Clinton’s wide margin of loss in the Republican stronghold area.

Presidential campaign flags are nothing new. Presidential campaign flags have been used since the 1840s to advertise and show support for a Presidential candidate.

Up until the early 20th century, Presidential campaign flags were mostly made of cotton.

Many early campaign flags consisted of a US Flag with a portrait of the candidate and their campaign slogan printed over them.

Presidential campaigns have passed out hats at rallies and sold hats for the greater part of the 19th century.

Hats of different styles have been used by campaigns to provide a uniform feel and unity of support.

Devout supporters go out of their way to obtain a presidential campaign hat.

Winter beanies are popular during cold weather so people can keep their heads warm while showing support for their favorite candidate.

The 2016 Trump campaign capitalized on hats emblazoned with Make America Great Again.

The Trump 2016 hats were nothing short of popular and in high demand.

Presidential campaigns and the weather both heat up during the summer. There is nothing better to keep you cool than a Presidential campaign t-shirt.

Presidential collector coins are popular items for gifts and to put on display in homes and offices.

Pa Sen Scott Wagner: Im Buying 20000 Trump Lawn Signs

While some Republicans in the state fret about their association with Donald Trump even skipping the Republican National Convention altogether to avoid affiliation-by-osmosis PA Sen. Scott Wagner is working overtime to boost for the billionaire businessman-turned-presidential nominee.

Im going to purchase 20,000 Trump lawn signs anyone who wants a Trump sign in my district is going to get one, he said, speaking from his delegate spot at the RNC, in Cleveland. Im going to make sure the base is energized. Pennsylvania is a crucial state this year.

Wagner is a businessman who successfully ran for his seat in the 28th District as a write-in candidate two years ago with a pro-business, Tea Party-esque platform. His district, encompassing most of York County, is a sweet spot for Trumps key white working class demographic, and Wagner has been eying a run against Gov. Tom Wolfs in 2018.

Prominent state GOP members, like US Sen. Pat Toomey, have waffled on their support for Trump, fearing that being associated with his racist rhetoric will damage their own future election hopes. But the state senator has been a prominent support and said hed even been flown out to strategize with Trumps national campaign team and PA operatives.

The state senator had choice words for his hesitant colleagues.

Wagner said hed pay for the lawn signs with his own campaign funds, but didnt know offhand how much they would cost.

Trump Yard Sign Rigged With Razor Blades Left Town Worker Needing 13 Stitches

A town employee in Michigan had to get 13 stitches after he sliced three fingers on razor blades attached to the bottom of a Trump 2020 campaign yard sign.

The 52-year-old municipal employee in Commerce Township, about 40 miles northwest of Detroit, was asked to remove signs that violated a city ordinance, the Oakland County Sheriffs Office said in a news release. Signs are required to be 33 feet from the center of roadways, and a political sign in the yard of a home was 9 feet too close to the street.

When he went to remove one of the signs, he was cut by razor blades that had been attached to the bottom edge of the sign, the sheriffs office said. Both signs removed from that location had several razor blades taped all along the bottom edge. He received lacerations to three fingers which required medical attention.

Commerce Township Supervisor Dave Scott told NBC affiliate WDIV in Detroit that his employee initially thought he had been electrified and then looked at his hand and saw that he was bleeding aggressively.

The man drove himself to a hospital where he received 13 stitches in his fingers. Scott said he was angry about the incident.

Why would someone set a booby-trap sign to harm someone? A child could have picked it up, he told the outlet.

The sheriffs office is investigating the incident, and according to WDIV, officials in the township said they may seek legal action over the incident.
