Former President Donald Trump plans to hold a tele-rally for his supporters Monday night, urging them to back Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin in the following days election, Bloomberg reported Friday.

Youngkin, who is attempting to pull off an unlikely victory over Democrat Terry McAuliffe on Nov. 2, has managed to keep the 45th president at arms length during the campaign. It was not immediately clear whether Youngkin would take part in the Trump tele-rally.

Youngkin accepted Trumps endorsement after winning the Republican gubernatorial nomination in May, but has disavowed the former presidents claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen by the Democrats and emphatically condemned the deadly Jan. 6 riot by Trump supporters at the US Capitol.

With regard to January 6, there is no room for violence in America,Youngkin told Axios in September. None. Absolutely not. And therefore, I think theres just no room for it. We must condemn it every day of the week.

Trump teased the possibility that he would travel to Virginia earlier this week, when he issued a statement telling supporters he would see you soon! On Thursday, Trump attempted to walk back a statement he made earlier this month telling Republicans not to vote in either the 2022 or 2024 federal elections if the result of the 2020 election was not overturned.

Trump Seeking To Maintain Gop Sway Holds First Rally Since Jan 6

The former presidents speech in Ohio, made on behalf of a challenger to a Republican congressman who voted to impeach Mr. Trump, reflected both his power over the party and his diminished status.

WELLINGTON, Ohio Former President Donald J. Trump returned to the rally stage on Saturday evening after a nearly six-month absence, his first large public gathering since his Save America event on Jan. 6 that resulted in a deadly riot at the Capitol.

On Saturday, the same words Save America appeared behind Mr. Trump as he addressed a crowd of several thousand at a county fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio, about 35 miles southwest of Cleveland.

He repeated familiar falsehoods about fraudulent 2020 votes. He attacked Republican officials for refusing to back his effort to overturn the election results including Representative Anthony E. Gonzalez of Ohio, who voted to impeach Mr. Trump, and whose primary challenger, Max Miller, was the reason for Mr. Trumps visit. The former president praised Mr. Miller as they appeared onstage together.

Mr. Trump remains the most powerful figure in the Republican Party, with large numbers of G.O.P. lawmakers parroting his lies about a stolen 2020 election and fearful of crossing him, and many in the party waiting to see whether he will run again for the White House in 2024.

Do you miss me? Mr. Trump asked in one of his biggest applause lines. They miss me, he declared.

Does Trump Mock The Virus

Mr. Trump has been downplaying the risk of attending his rally, even as the number of infections in Tulsa and across the country continues to rise and some companies are already beginning to shut down again.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Trump claimed that Covid-19 testing was overrated and suggested that Americans were wearing masks not for their own protection, but to demonstrate that they do not support him. Will he downplay health concerns on the political stage as the pandemic rages on?

What Will The Rallys Impact Be On Health In Tulsa

Report: Trump Tested Positive For Covid Before Biden Debate

Prominent black Tulsans, religious leaders and civil rights activists called on Saturday for the citys mayor, G.T. Bynum, to cancel the president’s rally because of health concerns. They also said the citys black community may bear the brunt of a coronavirus surge, if the rally helps increase infections in the area.

Greg Robinson II, a progressive activist who is running for mayor, implored black citizens to protest away from the rally. We know that the answer is bringing political officials and policymakers to the table, he said.

Pastor Robert Turner of the historic Vernon A.M.E. church on Greenwood Avenue, said he knew the chances that the mayor canceled the rally were slim. He said the leaders sought to pressure Mr. Bynum to stand up the president.

Their comments came as thousands of Trump supporters were lined up to enter the rally arena, many of them not wearing masks or socially distancing. In Washington, President Trump departed the White House for Oklahoma midafternoon showing no concerns about the health fears.

The event in Oklahoma is unbelievable. The crowds are unbelievable, he said. Well give a hopefully good speech, see a lot of great people, a lot of great friends.

David Bossie Deputy Trump Campaign Manager Discusses Tampa Rally

We also expect to rally the crowd to build up support for the economy, his nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, and rail against the Muller Probe. He will likely spend a great deal of talking about immigration and about the wall which he has said that at least at this point he might be willing to shut the government down in late September if the funding is not there for his signature issue that he feels took him all the way to the White House.

The possibility of shutting down the government about a month away from the midterms is something the GOP led Congress is not interested in hearing about. As is another topic and that is President Trumps tariffs that are hurting farmers from Florida to California.

So, expect to get vintage Trump at todays Tampa rally and here is what you need to know if you have free tickets.

When: Tue, July 31 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Where: Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall Tampa, FL

How to get tickets: As of Monday morning, tickets were still available. The free tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can only register as many as two tickets per phone number.

Ohio Rally Recalls Campaign Events

Trump stepped onto the stage as a loudspeaker blared Lee Greenwoods God Bless the USA a favorite on his playlist during last years campaign for the White House and tossed red Make America Great Again hats into the crowd.

In his 91-minute remarks, Trump lashed out at Democratic foes Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, ridiculed the “fake news” media and leveled unfounded accusations about his loss to Joe Biden in November’s presidential election. Trump said he was “ashamed” of the U.S. Supreme Court for failing to back his claims of election fraud.

Though he made no announcement about his own plans, Trump hinted he might make another run for the White House in 2024. Claiming that he has already won the presidency twice, he said, “Its possible well have to win it a third time.”

Though Trump lost the presidency to Biden, he carried Ohio by 8 percentage points. Political scientist Justin Buchler said he saw no particular relevance to the fact that Trump chose Ohio historically a swing state in presidential elections as the site of his first rally since leaving the White House.

What was more important, Buchler said, was that he appeared in Lorain County, which he won by 3 percentage points last November and where he was surrounded by people who are loyal to him.
