When Is Trumps Next Rally

Trump Has A Major Rally Planned In A Key Election State

Trump Ramps Up Rally Schedule | 11th Hour

Former President Donald Trump will travel to Ohio to hold a rally amid a contentious GOP primary to be the states next senator.

Trumps Save America PAC announced the rally would take place on April 23, though the attendees of the event have yet to be disclosed. The candidates are competing to fill the vacant seat left by retiring Republican Sen. Rob Portman.

Numerous candidates have attempted to secure Trumps endorsement, including former state treasurer Josh Mandel, businessman Mike Gibbons and former Ohio GOP Chair Jane Timken. Trump is reportedly planning on endorsing venture capitalist and author J.D. Vance, according to three sources who allegedly spoke with NBC News.

Associates of Trump reportedly said the former president has concerns about all of the candidates running for the nomination and might not endorse anyone, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Despite the spending of millions of dollars on the race, no clear frontrunner has emerged.

Gibbons led Mandel by two points in a Fox News poll released in March, with no candidate securing more than 22% of the vote. A February poll from The Hill and Emerson College gave Gibbons a seven point lead.

So well have to kind of see if that works out, DeWine said, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Whats Trump Doing On The Capitol Hill Riot Anniversary

The Capitol Hill riot is another partisan event in American history. While many Republicans denounced the violence, there are still many who justify the action and say that the 2020 election was rigged.

Trump was scheduled to hold a press conference on Jan. 6 at . However, he canceled the event and in his very Trump way blamed the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6t Unselect Committee of Democrats. He also blamed two failed Republicans and the fake news media.

Trump Faces Drawbacks From Early Announcement

The downsides of announcing early could also affect Trump, particularly because he would lose fundraising advantages he currently enjoys.

Since exiting the White House, Trump has maintained a robust political operation, conducting rallies, and raising tens of millions of dollars through a collection of political committees that serve as a sort of unofficial campaign effort.

After an announcement, he would have to set up an official campaign account that would accept no more than $2,900 for donations from individuals, said Sheila Krumholtz, executive director of OpenSecrets, a nonpartisan research organization focused on money in politics.

Currently, Trump can raise unlimited sums through super PACs and coordinate on messaging and events. He also doesn’t have to report all the spending details from his political operation, which would include everything from payroll and travel to polling firms.

The Republican who spoke to Trump about an early announcement told Insider there were “far too many potential downsides to a pre-midterms announcement,” citing the spending constraints, and “precious little upside.”

Some reports view Trump announcing early as a sign that he’s trying to block out GOP competition, such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has risen in popularity, as well as a growing number of other rivals.

Trump’s legacy will also suffer if he makes an early announcement, Nunberg said.

Can I Watch It Somewhere

Expect lots of local coverage of the event itself, including at freep.com. It wasn’t entirely clear who might be covering it live on a night when the Final Four teams will be playing to determine who will be in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, but here are two good bets: C-SPAN is expected to carry a livestream on its app and its website, c-span.org. There also is an organization calling itself Right Side Broadcasting Network that has been livestreaming Trump events on YouTube and is expected to do so again. Also, the rally is being broadcast on NewsmaxTV.

Trump Is Speaking Monday In Sanford Florida

Signing up for any event online does not guarantee a seat, as those are given first-come, first-served. Note that because of the pandemic, these events are subject to change.

His first event is a rally in Sanford, Florida scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Eastern on Monday, October 12.

The event is being held at Orlando Sanford International Airport and doors open at 4 p.m. Eastern.

How Big A Crowd Is Expected

This is an often tricky issue with Trump, who has a habit of inflating his crowd sizes. In this case, township officials say they expect somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 people.

It’s anyone’s guess if that number will be low or high. But it does have some fire officials in Washington Township concerned. For one thing, they say the rally is outside the approved use of the Michigan Stars Sports Center space, and it’s possible the number of attendees could be well above the site’s safe occupancy limit. There also are questions about whether there is enough parking and what the effect of traffic will be on local roads.

Who Else Has Trump Endorsed In Michigan And Will They Be There

Trump has made a bunch of endorsements this year and last, some of which have been pretty confusing. For instance, he endorsed state Rep. Steve Carra, R-Three Rivers, to run against U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, who voted to impeach Trump for instigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Then, a couple of weeks ago, Trump dis-endorsed Carra and endorsed U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Holland Township, in that race. Trump has endorsed about 10 people running for state legislative seats, most if not all of whom have a tie to Maddock and her husband, as well as some other folks running for Congress. That includes businessman John James, who lost two races for U.S. Senate after being endorsed by Trump, who is running in a newly drawn Macomb County district.

Expect most of those locally who have been endorsed by Trump to be in attendance, though it’s only certain that two others are speaking U.S. Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Bruce Township, who represents the area where the rally is being held, and John Gibbs, a former Trump administration official who is running for the Republican nomination against U.S. Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Grand Rapids, who also voted to impeach Trump.

Also by the way: Trump’s endorsements in Michigan from his years as president did not pan out. Of the seven he made, according to the website Ballotpedia, only one McClain’s in 2020 was for a winning candidate.

Trump Announces First Post

According to the Save America PAC, the July 3 rally is not meant to boost any particular candidate, but show President Trumps further support of the MAGA agenda and accomplishments of his administration.

Trump revealed last month that he also plans to hold rallies in Georgia and North Carolina as he weighs whether to seek the White House again in 2024. The Republican won all four of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio in 2016 and held all but Georgia in 2020.

The former president previously spoke at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in February and addressed the North Carolina Republican Partys convention earlier this month.

Given the seismic news on Friday from the Supreme Court, Trump took somewhat of a victory lap for the justices he appointed during his presidency:

It is safe to say that appointing the justices who overturned Roe will be one of Trumps longest-lasting legacy items that will have an impact for generations to come. The question of abortion is not a constitutional topic nor should it be treated or regulated as such.

Aside from abortion, which will become a wedge issue Democrats try to use to distract from President Bidens terrible economy and record inflation, there will be plenty of other topics for Trump to hit on speaking tonight in Illinois.
