Trump Issued An Executive Order For The White House To Take Over All Electrical Grids Which Will Include Internet Servers Broadcasting Systems And Electronic Systems

Which of President Trump’s accomplishments are the media not talking about?

The president did issue an executive order intended to secure the countrys bulk-power system, but the order does not allow the White House to take over electrical grids.

The order seeks to protect the U.S. electricity system from cyber and other attacks, Reuters reported.

It is imperative the bulk-power system be secured against exploitation and attacks by foreign threats, Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette said in a press release. This Executive Order will greatly diminish the ability of foreign adversaries to target our critical electric infrastructure.

The order makes no mention of assuming control over all electrical grids, and also does not mention internet servers, broadcasting systems or electronic systems.

Accomplishment: Defeating Isis’s Caliphate And Killing Abu Bakr Al

ISIS shocked the world in 2014 when it took over a large swath of territory across Iraq and Syria and declared a caliphate.

The terrorist group’s territorial holdings were the basis for its so-called caliphate, and provided it will a major base of operations to conduct attacks across the world.

After a five-year effort led by the US, ISIS’s caliphate was finally defeated in March 2019.

Trump at times falsely claimed that ISIS is totally defeated, embellishing the extent of the US military’s success against the terrorist organization during his presidency. Though the terrorist group has lost its territory its so-called caliphate it’s still estimated to have up to 18,000 fighters in Iraq and Syria.

In late October, a US raid led to the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Baghdadi was the world’s most wanted terrorist up to that point and his death represented a major blow to the terrorist group.

“Last night, the United States brought the world’s No. 1 terrorist leader to justice,” Trump said at the time. “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.”

“Capturing or killing him has been the top national security priority of my administration,” he added.

By Steve Cortes

This year has been dominated by the pain and suffering thrust upon the globe by the criminal acts of the Chinese Communist Party. Even amid these harsh challenges, President Trump persevered to reach historic achievements. Therefore, as the year draws to its conclusion, it is worth detailing his 2020 accomplishments, as I have previously catalogued for each of the lastthreeyears.

  • The vaccine. Millions of Americans have begun the process of inoculation, leading to an eventual reality where COVID-19 becomes a bad memory. The speed of this achievement defied skeptics and amazed scientists everywhere. Along with the brilliant government researchers and innovative private sector pharmaceutical companies, Trump deserves enormous credit for his inspiring leadership of Operation Warp Speed.
  • Abraham accords. For the first time in a quarter-century, Arab nations agreed to normalized relations with Israel. Trump harnessed diplomacy combined with toughness toward Iran to forge truly historic new ties in the region. The 2020 agreement among Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain represents a massive breakthrough, one that encouraged similar pacts with Morocco and Sudan.

The Child And Dependent Care Tax Credit Signed Into Law By Trump Provides A Tax Credit Equal To 20

    Accomplishments Of President Trump

According to the Tax Foundation, this is an accurate description of the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit, but its important to note that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act did not directly change the rules for the credit. Those rules existed before the Trump administration. So did the $5,000 dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts.

    Donald Trumps Costly Legacy

History will judge the Trump presidency to have been a consequential one, but more for its destructive effects than for its achievements.

We can finally state with confidence that US President Donald Trump will leave the White House, however reluctantly, on January 20. As his four years in office come to an end, it is not too soon to raise the question of how he will be viewed.

History will judge Trump to have been a consequential US president, in that he left America and the world much changed. He will also be seen as one of the worst, if not the worst ever.

    More on:

True, Trump did accomplish some useful things. Domestically, he pushed policies a cut to the too-high corporate tax rate the easing of some overly burdensome regulations that appear to have contributed to robust economic growth. In foreign policy, he deserves credit for moving the US policy vis-à-vis an increasingly repressive, powerful, and assertive China in a more sober, critical direction. He was also right to provide defensive arms to Ukraine, given that part of that country is under Russian occupation.

    President Trump: One Year Later

U.S. President Donald Trumps improbable rise to the White House caught many by surprise. Outspent and out-staffed, his unexpected victory over former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had Washington reeling. Still, since taking the oath of office, his Administration has been anything but smooth. Stunning setbacks, crippling defeats, and perennial controversies have marked his one-year in office. Yet through it all, the former real-estate tycoon and reality television star continues to reshape Washington and the geo-political landscape issue-by-issue challenge-by-challenge crisis-by-crisis.

What Has President Trump Accomplished A Lot

His achievements span everything from the economy to diversity and second chances.

    JOBS & THE ECONOMY

President Trump took office in the aftermath of the Obama/Biden malaise. Experts repeatedly told us that mediocre economic growth was the new normal. President Trump rejected that mindset and enacted policies that would make America great again.

    • President Trump enacted the first serious tax reform legislation in decades.
    • Tax rates were cut across the board.
    • The standard deduction was doubled.
    • The per child tax credit was doubled.
    • Small business owners were allowed to deduct 20% of their business income.
    • Corporate tax rates were slashed from 35% to 21%.
    • The Trump Administration cut 8 old regulations for every new one issued, removing 25,000 pages from the Federal Register.
    • President Trump renegotiated NAFTA, renegotiated the trade deal with South Korea, and withdrew from the job-killing Paris Climate Accord.

    The U.S. economy took off.

Of course, the coronavirus pandemic created unprecedented economic disruptions this year. The Trump Administration took quick action to combat the virus and boost our economy.

  • Trump issued executive orders to streamline the vaccine process and launched Operation Warp Speed to produce 300 million doses of a vaccine in record time, hopefully by the end of the year, if not sooner.
  • Trump invoked the Defense Protection Act to facilitate the emergency production of 200,000 ventilators and the acquisition of personal protective equipment.
  • North Atlantic Treaty Organization Reforms

President Donald Trump touts his accomplishments in farewell speech

As Peoples Pundit Daily recently explained, there are two main strategies nation-states use to gain power and prevent aggressors from tipping the balance of power: balancing and buck-passing.

Balancing is when states make a serious commitment to deter and contain a rival, by force if necessary. With buck-passing, states will attempt to get another great power to shoulder the costly burden, which is what most NATO-member nations have done to the U.S. for decades. President Trump made it clear in Brussels that the era of buck-passing is over.

Prior to the Trump Administration, only 5 North Atlantic Treaty Organization countries had met their obligations: the United States, the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland and Estonia. Germany, which has opened their door and welfare programs to more than a million refugees, was not meeting their obligation.

After years of U.S. administrations allowing NATO to ignore their obligations, President Trump is now employing what is known as structural realism. It dominates international relations in security studies and yet it was met with ridicule from D.C. dummies. In truth, once that demand was delivered, they never really had a choice.

President Trump was just the first with enough gall to make it.

    First Step Act/criminal Justice

    * In 2018, President Trump signed the groundbreaking First Step Act, a criminal justice bill that enacted reforms that make our justice system fairer and help former inmates successfully return to society.

    • The First Step Acts reforms addressed inequities in sentencing laws that disproportionately harmed Black Americans and reformed mandatory minimums that created unfair outcomes.
    • The First Step Act expanded judicial discretion in the sentencing of non-violent crimes.
    • Over 90% of those benefitting from the retroactive sentencing reductions in the First Step Act are Black Americans.
    • The First Step Act provides rehabilitative programs to inmates, helping them successfully rejoin society and not return to crime.

    * The Trump Administration is promoting second chance hiring to give former inmates the opportunity to live crime-free lives and find meaningful employment.

    * Trumps DOJ and the Board Of Prisons launched a new Ready to Work Initiative to help connect employers directly with former prisoners.

    What Has Trump Really Accomplished

For all the talk, not much – except in one big area, as 11 million immigrants can suddenly attest.

Michael Grunwald is a senior staff writer for Politico Magazine.

For all the sound and fury of his first 39 days in office, President Donald Trump has not yet dismantled President Obamaâs health reforms, Wall Street regulations, or climate rules. He hasnât started overhauling Americaâs tax code, rehabbing Americaâs infrastructure, or building a border wall. But even though Trump has done less to change federal policies than his blustery boasts and fiery tweets might suggest, heâs already having a real impact on Jaime, a 15-year-old undocumented immigrant living just a few miles from his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Jaime is not the kind of illegal alien Trump would call a âbad hombre.â His grandmother brought him to the United States last September, after gang members in his hometown of La Union, El Salvador, showed up at one of his soccer games and killed his grandfather. Heâs now living with his mother, a hardworking house cleaner who snuck into to the U.S. in 2008, and heâs doing well in school, even though he has to use a Spanish translation app to decipher his homework assignments.

âIâm scared when I go to school that Iâll get caught. Iâm scared when my mom goes to work that she wonât come back,â says Jaime, who used a pseudonym to avoid alerting immigration officials to his case. âI donât know what would happen.â

Nato Allies Increased Their Defense Spending Because Of His Pressure Campaign

True. Although NATO countries were already modestly increasing their military spending before Mr. Trump took office, there is evidence that his public complaints led to a deal that allowed the United States to decrease its own spending, while some other countries increased their share each year that he has been in office.

    Failure: The Us Economy

Trumps list: 289 accomplishments in just 20 months, relentless ...

Trump often took credit for the robust US economy before the pandemic, ignoring that much of the growth began during the Obama administration.

The US faced one of the worst economic crises in its history under Trump, which was intrinsically linked to his disastrous response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coronavirus lockdowns in early 2020 and reduced consumer spending led to tens of millions of job losses as whole segments of the economy sputtered. The economy has since begun adding back jobs, but is far from a full recovery as the US struggles to contain the coronavirus and Biden takes over.

Roughly 22 million jobs were lost from February to April. Though nearly half of those jobs have been recovered, the unemployment rate is still at 7.9% . The pre-pandemic unemployment rate was 3.4%.

As Trump left office, the US national debt was at the highest levels since World War II. And US economic growth was set to average just above 0% for Trump’s first term because of the pandemic recession, according to The Washington Post.

Though the economy is still far from recovered, Trump also failed to bring Congress together to pass a second coronavirus stimulus package prior to Election Day as Americans across the country struggled to cover rent and other bills. The GOP-controlled Senate instead prioritized confirming Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, essentially placing the economy and the livelihoods of Americans on the back-burner.
