Melania Trump Fires Back At Unprofessional Stephanie Grisham Over Book Revelations

Stephanie Grisham, a former White House press secretary and top aide to Melania Trump, is publishing a new book in which she says the former first lady declined to call for peace during the Jan. 6 Capitol Riot. Trumps office has released a response statement that attacks Grisham for being unprofessional during her time in the administration.

The bombshell snippet came via Politico Monday, which reported that Grisham texted Trump around 1:25 p.m. ET on Jan. 6, just after rioters who supported then-President Donald Trump breached the Capitol in an attempt to overturn President Joe Bidens 2020 election win.

Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness and violence? Grisham texted Trump, according to her forthcoming book, Ill Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in The Trump White House.

One minute later, Grisham says, Trump responded, No.

As has been previously reported, the former first lady was doing a photo shoot with rugs in the White House at the time of the riot, which left five dead and has been the subject of a Congressional inquiry not to mention the cause of her husbands removal from major social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Melania And Donald Trump Haven’t Shared A Bed In Years

Kate Bennett’s Free, Melania revealed that not only does First Lady Melania Trump sleep in a different bedroom from President Donald Trump, but also, her living quarters are on a different floor altogether. Her space more or less amounts to a private living space entirely, with two bedrooms, a “glam room,” and a private gym, per Business Insider.

The American public quickly suspected a fractious relationship between the Trumps after Melania did not immediately join her husband in the White House, instead staying in New York City while their son, Barron, finished out the school year. Since then, Mary Jordan’s 2020 tell-all, The Art of Her Deal, has revealed that Melania’s refusal to move also served as leverage in her attempt to renegotiate her prenup.

It seems, however, that their independent sleeping situation far predated Trump’s tenure as president. According to Business Insider, the couple has had this arrangement since at least 2006, when a woman who alleges to have had an affair with Trump was shown Melania’s living quarters in their New York City residence at Trump Tower. As Trump reportedly put it at the time, Melania “liked her space to read or be alone” . But that’s not all.

Part of the legacy of a first lady is the ongoing preservation and decorating work done at the White House, a living museum of the nations history.

Every departing first family who has lived in the 132-room mansion leaves something of themselves behind. And while Melania Trump did not make refurbishing a major focus, there were some significant additions and improvements during her tenure. They included a bronze statue by Isamu Noguchi, a restoration of the East Room and new fabrics to replace sun-damaged upholstery and walls in the Red Room. There were also practical projects, such as the modernization of the subbasement curatorial storage room and restoration of historical wooden doors that had been dinged by presidential dogs over the decades.

Melania Embraces The Spotlight As Husband Donald Trump Teases Another Presidential Run

Melania Trump‘s recent embrace of the spotlight with husband Donald Trump after months of lying low is amping up speculation as to whether the couple are looking to run for the White House in 2024.

The couple attended two gala events back-to-back over the weekend one of which saw her don a floor-length gown to be awarded the Spirit of Lincoln award with snaps of them arm-in-arm putting an end to Melania’s isolation from the public eye, which began in January when she relocated toFlorida.

The 51-year-old former first lady’s display of solidarity comes just days after her 75-year-old husband told Fox News he’s “certainly thinking about” running for president in 2024.

“I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms,” Trump told the outlet of his decision to campaign, which he said he is waiting to confirm until he has seen if the Democrats’ “poor performance” continues into 2022.

Melania’s absence from the public eye in recent months spurred speculation that she is against her husband running for the United States’ top job again, with sources telling CNN she has “zero desire” for a second term as First Lady nor to help Trump campaign.

“Being first lady again is not what she wants. For her, it was a chapter and it’s over, and that’s that,” a source told the publication.
