Well, whatta you knowAccording to Rasmussen, President Trumps approval rating is higher after the DC protest against election fraud in the 2020 election.

President Trump told the truth about election fraud, and the people are with him. We the People are truly fed up with the lies and distortions coming from the government and the lapdog media, so this latest poll is no surprise to those who are Trump supporters.

Newsmax is reporting:

The Rasmussen poll, one of the most accurate polls of the 2020 election, finds President Trumps approval is actually rising after Wednesdays protests.

As Democrats move to impeachment and some establishment Republicans call for the 25th Amendment to remove Trump, the poll finds 48% approve of the Presidents job performance.

Polls Put Trumps Approval Rating Lower

Despite the recent decline in Biden’s approval, Trump’s ratings were lower during his time in office.

“Biden’s approval rating has clearly taken a turn for the worse in the past several weeks, but he is still faring better than Trump at this point in their presidencies,” Burden said. “Trump had one of the lowest and steadiest approval ratings of any modern president.”

FiveThirtyEight put the polling average for Trump’s approval rating at 38.8% on Sept. 9, 2017, his first year in office. The lowest point of his term came on Dec. 16, 2017, with an average approval rate of 36.4%.

This claim is also wrong looking only at the YouGov poll.

YouGov reported Trumps approval rating never increased far above 40% and reached a term low of 34% in a poll conducted Nov. 10-14, 2017.

In other words, Trump’s low is well below Biden’s current level in YouGov polling.

According to Gallup, Trumps approval rating ranged between 34% and 49% over the course of his presidency. Trump hit the lower end of that range in January, following the insurrection at the Capitol.

White House Dumpster Fire And Other Commentary

President Bidens approval rating has plunged to a fresh low, largely driven by discontent among his own base as Republicans head into the 2022 midterms with historically high chances, according to a new poll released Sunday.

Just 41 percent of Americans approve of the commander-in-chiefs performance, down a whopping 11 points since spring, the Washington Post-ABC News poll found.

His popularity has also tumbled among his own party.

Today, 80 percent of Democrats are positive about their partys leader, compared to 94 percent in June, the poll found.

Barely 4 in 10 Democrats strongly approve of Biden today, down from about 7 in 10 who did so in June.

Almost three-quarters of respondents said the economy is in bad shape, including 38 percent who characterize the state of the nations economy as poor.

Bidens overall approval of his handling of the economy sits at just 39 percent and half of those surveyed blame the president directly for soaring inflation, according to the poll.

Meanwhile, Republicans hold their largest lead in midterm election vote preferences in ABC News/Washington Post polls dating back 40 years.

If voters headed to the polls today, 51 percent of registered voters said they would back the Republican running in their congressional district, while just 41 percent would choose the Democratic candidate.

The poll of 1,001 US residents, including 882 registered voters, was conducted from Nov. 7 through Nov. 10 via landlines and cellphones.

“Certainly, there’s no bounce it’s very minimal,” Miringoff said. “It’s all playing out depending on the filter people have. The partisan split is as wide as can be. I don’t think it’s something that reflects a president who is about to break 50% for the first time.”

Historical rally-around-the-flag bounces

Partisanship did not begin in the Trump era.

Its sharp rise appears to have taken hold during the Obama years. That’s evident by how little former President Barack Obama’s approval fluctuated once his honeymoon period was over and legislation aimed at combating the Great Recession was passed.

According to data from the Gallup Presidential Job Approval Center, George W. Bush after 9/11 and before the Iraq War, George H.W. Bush before the Gulf War, Ronald Reagan during the Grenada military action and the Marine barracks bombing in Lebanon, and Jimmy Carter at the outset of the Iran hostage crisis all saw much bigger rally-around-the flag approval bounces than either Trump or Obama.

Then-President Barack Obama announces the death of Osama bin Laden on May 1, 2011.

At the beginning of Obama’s presidency, the country was largely behind him, and his approval rating, per Gallup, was in the 60s.

That came down with the partisan fight over the health care bill and languished in the 40s until it hit 50% again with an improving economy by January 2011. His biggest bounce about 8 percentage points came with the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Polling Average Put Biden’s Approval Rating Higher Than 39%

The Daily Dot on Twitter: " Trump hits 33 percent approval ...

Experts say approval ratings should be calculated by looking at an average between polls not a single poll. On the day the claim was made, the polling average for Biden’s approval rating was 45.2%.

“The best practice to look at multiple polls and not to fixate on an individual poll, which can be cherry-picked to make inaccurate arguments,” Barry Burden, director of the Elections Research Center and professor of political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, said in an email.

The website FiveThirtyEight rates how different polls vary in terms of accuracy and statistical bias. It calculates approval ratings for presidents based on a weighted average that takes into account poll quality and uncertainty.

According to that polling average, Biden’s approval rate was 45.2% on the day the claim was posted.

The Facebook post appeared to refer to an Economist/YouGov poll conducted Sept. 4-7. It reported 39% of American adults approved of Biden. YouGov noted this was the first time the majority of Americans disapproved of Biden during his presidency.

However, Burden told USA TODAY this poll was “unusually low.”

“In the last month YouGov has also reported approval ratings of 44% and 50%,” he said. “Taken as a group it is more accurate to say that Biden’s rating is hovering in the mid-40s.”

But there are lingering questions about the president’s approach. Over the last several weeks, Trump has been inconsistent. He first downplayed the threat of the coronavirus, then appeared to take it much more seriously last week, and then said the White House can’t let the “cure” of public health measures be worse than economic harm and suggested “opening up” the country by Easter.

Trump has faced criticism for the United States being slow to test for the virus, and for not using his full authority to distribute needed supplies. The U.S. now has the most confirmed cases in the world, and more than 1,000 Americans have died, according to Johns Hopkins University researchers.

It’s possible current polling is a lagging indicator from Trump publicly taking the virus more seriously than he had been previously. Surveys so far largely aren’t reflecting Trump’s pivot this week to suggesting he wants to reopen the economy within weeks.

Regardless, the 3-point increase in his approval rating so far is not much of a bump, certainly not the kind of increase other presidents have seen in other rally-around-the-flag moments, pollsters say.

“We’re seeing although his numbers have inched up, it’s still roughly in his zone of support,” said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, which conducts polling for NPR. “Look, he’s not getting the rally-around-the-president that presidents in crisis have gotten.”

How Do Americans View Bidens Handling Of The Pandemic And The Economy

Most Americans think Biden is handling the coronavirus pandemic far better than Trump. Sixty-two percent approve of how Biden has managed the U.S. response so far. Another 30 percent say they disapprove.

Chart by Megan McGrew/PBS NewsHour

The publics approval of Bidens actions far exceeds that earned by Trumps leadership during the pandemic. His highest approval rating was 18 points lower, at 44 percent in March 2020, the same month the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic and Trump labeled it a public health emergency. From there, his approval on handling the pandemic dropped as low as 37 percent, recovering slightly to 39 percent by the time he left office in January.

But Americans have less faith in Bidens ability to heal the nations wounded economy compared to Trump. While 46 percent of U.S. adults approve of how Biden has managed the economy, another 41 percent do not approve. During Trumps last days in office, half of Americans said they approved of the former presidents handling of the economy, a sentiment thatTrump leveraged throughout his presidency and in his 2020 campaign for a second term.

Keanu Adams, 25, of Vacaville, California, said he voted for Biden and hopes the president recognizes the country needs more than public health and economic fixes right now.

The nation needs to uproot systemic problems to address what is really wrong, Adams said.

Biden Harris Best Trump On Favorability Scale

Trump Somehow Winning Over Voters

While the poll finds Trump’s personal favorability ratings underwater, the Democrats heading to the White House fare better.

Biden has a net favorability rating of +4 , while Vice President-elect Kamala Harris has a net rating of +0 .

That’s compared with Trump’s net personal rating of -13 .

Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, has a personal favorability rating of +14 . Notably, however, a majority of Republicans 59 percent give her a negative rating, a particularly high marker of antipathy for an incoming first lady from members of the opposing party.

Before Obama’s inauguration, 33 percent of Republicans gave Michelle Obama a negative personal rating. And before Trump’s inauguration, 44 percent of Democrats gave Melania Trump a similarly poor grade.

The NBC News poll of 1,000 registered voters was conducted Jan. 10-13, 2021, by the Republican firm Public Opinion Strategies and the Democratic firm Hart Research. The margin of error for registered voters is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

Trump Approval Rating By State 2021

The presidential job approval ratings in the U.S. were introduced in the late 1930s by George Gallup to gauge public support for the president during their term. Approval ratings are determined by polling given to a sample of people.

Like most surveys, poll results may be inaccurate due to samples that self-select. However, statisticians generally accept the approval rating as a factual indicator of the peoples feelings about the president.

As of April 2020, President Trumps approval rate is 46.0% and his disapproval is at 49.6%.

Donald Trump’s presidential approval ratings remain steady despite the coronavirus crisis, according to The Telegraph‘s polls tracker.

Donald Trump’s term has been packed with controversy and intrigue but, underneath it all, few people seem to have really changed their minds about America’s 45th president.

His approval rating quickly slumped in the chaotic days after assuming office, with Trump achieving a majority disapproval rating in a record of just eight days. Three years in and facing a re-election campaign in November, he is far less popular than previous presidents at this stage of a presidency – but overall approval has generally remained above 40 per cent.

Soaring Covid-19 cases and a rising death toll have done little to shift the dial on the Republican’s popularity among the American public.

Historically, it has usually taken American presidents hundreds of days before they reach a majority disapproval rating.

This has been the case for the last five presidents with Bill Clinton lasting a record 573 days before more than 50 per cent of Americans disapproved of his presidency.
